very bad customer service it's has been 3 months now UPS headquarters sent me back to this store owner to solve my issue of deliver. she never took time to assist me or to solve this incompetence and wrong service they provided to me. I paid over $200 for 2 days but got my items in 5 days. I went there several time to get a refund from what they charged me for the service. I don't know if she being raciste each time I get there she make wait for 15 to 20 min without assisting. when you try to get an appointment the employee say she will be in at 1pm you come at that time she is not in. either they are lying to me or trying to avoid me. bad store and bad customer service overall read more

I've been coming to this UPS location for the past 3 years and all of them due to returning Amazon products - haha. I felt compelled to write a review because I couldn't believe all the bad ones before me! I've only had excellent service and experiences here. Even during the shut down, the lines were never super long and I was always able to get in and get out quickly. The employees always ask how I'm doing and have always been friendly. Exactly what I'd want from my UPS store! One thing to note is wifi/cell service is bad inside the store so have your codes and stuff up on your phone so you don't need to pull it up inside. read more

Website says they can assist with all things USPS. Think to myself, great, I only have to go to one spot to get this return label printed and sent off. I don't have to deal with the post office. I was wrong. They were able to print my return label fine from a thumb drive but said to take it to the post office. Was told this was because they couldnt produce the proper receipt for tracking through USPS. If that is the case then why the hell does you company website say what it says? Was told the info was generic and can vary by store but as you see from attached photos the ups store corporate website calls out the specific location on the webpage. They say it was for the work of the employee of pulling up the file etc. To which I thought, kind of like they have to open the email, read the request instead of hearing it from my mouth. followed by downloading the attachment and opening it to print. How is that different than plugging in my thumb drive to open the file? I should have walked across the street to fedex office and did it myself for about 13 cents but im dealing with an ankle injury so it woulda been more work than it was worth. that said you can imagine how annoyed i was that I now still had to go to the post office to send my return package. Needed to ship two parts this AM. Showed up at 8:30 AM promptly and waited for 15 mins and no one showed to open the store. Came back at 9:15 AM and the owner had just opened the store. One of the parts had an original box and was $20 to ship. Fine. The other (exact same) part needed a box and packing. They had limited supply of boxes and wanted $30 just to box and pack the other part (not counting the $20 shipping) because the only box they had was oversized.... I said I would just box it myself for that price and to please sell me the supplies. The price for the box, stuffing and tap, with me packing it myself was $26. The labor was not the issue. My guess is that the box, tape and stuffing would be less than $2.60. Guess they need a 1000% mark up at this store. So much for local ownership. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the market up and owner said there was nothing he could do. Guess he does not need my business. read more

When I need to send something out by UPS quickly, the staff here at the Roy Street location in Lower Queen Anne is great. They are always helpful and friendly. All of the staff are nice and Ingrid is always a pleasure and offers amazing customer service with a smile. She is also always so nice to my little pug. They also have free dog treats available for our fur babies so whenever I am walking by with Pugsly he is always trying to pull me inside so he can see his friend Ingrid and get a treat. I have sent several packages from here including some overseas to Japan and Korea. They are excellent at getting everything together and if you need them to pack something for you they can do that at a small fee. They have always done a great job at helping me to find the right sized box or envelope to mail thing in. One time I chose a box that was bigger than I needed at the staff there told me they could get it into a smaller box and they did. That saves a lot of money when mailing stuff overseas. They also can make copies for you if needed. I have found that one of the copy machines works much better with matching the colors than the other one. We have an account with UPS which makes it easy to just go in and get some printing done without having to pay each time. They just subtract it from the account. You can actually go online and send your items to be printed at this location and then pick them up later. read more

I've been coming here for prints for the better portion of a year and I always am met with good/kind service. Convenient location, plethora of services, friendly staff! Two things that happened that caused me to give 4 stars instead of 5 though: 1) I came in to use the computer for prints and needed to open a file in Photoshop. When trying to launch Photoshop I was met with an error about logging in so that I can authenticate my Adobe account (I'm assuming they use Adobe CC) but no one knew the password and didn't seem like they've ever been asked it. However months later, I tried again to open Photoshop for a file and had the exact same problem. 2) I just had a 5-second question to ask so I called and was greeted and in the same breath, told to hold. After about 5-6 minutes I hung up and tried back 20-ish minutes later. That time I called and had the exact same greeting where I was told to hold again. This time I was determined to hold as long as necessary. After 10 minutes I was disconnected. This is poor customer service, especially since my question would have taken all of 5 seconds. Having spoken of the above problems, I still don't think it's necessary to give them 3 stars. All-in-all I enjoy going there and I get what I need from them without too much hassle. Extremely rude owner! Completely opposite of the experience I had there the last time... Humiliated me for not taping-up the package, not putting the label on before going to the store, kept calling me 'buddy' and telling me 'we don't do this, we don't do that'. Could have just charged me for the tape and skipped all the taunting, but after making me feel worse, helped me with the tape and made me feel like it's a big favor, asked me to put the heavy box in their backroom by myself (I guess to make up for the favor), then came back to help the last moment after I dragged it in, maybe because I am not supposed to be back there, and made the staff feel really uncomfortable from what I could gather...All this in the span of 2 minutes! Worst experience I've ever had with a UPS Store. Had them pack and ship very fragile set of dishes that were my grandmothers. Asked for big box with lots of padding. Plates were crammed into one box and three pieces broke. I paid for $300 in insurance. Claiming loss of $220 and they have only reimbursed me for one plate. Endless hours on phone and email trying to get this resolved It's now been 8 1/2 months and I give up. Totally incompetent. If you pay to have the store pack, damages should be covered, no questions asked, like at other UPS Stores. This has been an insane and very, very frustrating experience. Seattle, Washington (In Queen Anne) Renting a mail box from UPS costs more then a USPS PO Bx but they offer more services then a PO Bx. I'm out of town a lot I appreciate that I can call this business and ask them to check my box for a particular piece of mail and fwd it to me. This also saves me a trip to the box if the mail hasn't arrived yet. UPS provide a number of services: Hold your mail Sign for all your incoming pkgs Send your mail to u if u r outta town They will wrap & send a pkg for you I've used this location for a couple of years and the employees have always been professional and courteous some addressing me by name. I trust them to properly fwd my mail in a timely manner when I'm out of town and have needed a particular piece of mail sent to me at an out of town address. When I receive a package they email me to let me know it has arrived. This is very convenient for me. If you have a mailbox at this location you have 24/7 access to check your mail because they give you a key to the stores locked front door. I appreciate their setup and the services they provide meet my needs. I don't have to be concerned of possible package theft when I use a UPS mailbox vs home delivery. It does cost more then a USPS PO Box but to me it's worth the peace of mind that my mail and packages are safe and secure at the UPS office. I would recommend this UPS location to meet your postal needs. read more

Good location, quick service, but one hell of a weird parking lot. I go here when I'm fed up with Kinko's across the street. And I'm always surprised at how different they are at UPS then the FEDEX Kinko guys. They help you bring your packages in. They actually know what they are doing and can get you quickly out the door, with tracking number in hand. I've never been disappointed here. Though the parking lot is a tad small and strange. They took really good care of us when we went in. Really friendly staff too. With Covid going on, there are a max of 5 allowed in at a time so it was easy enough to social distance. This is a convenient location in lower Queen Anne with parking, but operationally they have a long ways to go. I came here on a Wednesday morning at 8:38 AM, and the store had not opened yet. There was someone outside who said that the manager was running late and stuck in traffic. And that even once this manager arrived, it would take 15 minutes to get the systems up and running to accept customers. So, their advertised opening time of 8:30 AM really means nothing. This makes it really hard to plan around, as I was trying to ship something before work. read more

This Halloween, Lance even helped us figure out how to turn a pallet box into a spaceship! This UPS location happens to be very close to where I live. I have been here 3 times so far and each time I've had a very positive experience. I gave only 3 stars because I feel the shipping prices are just a bit over the top (but I'm sure they were probably more afforadable than USPS). I also sometimes feel like I get the "up sell" for the double boxing or packing materials. Anyway, the guy who works here though is friendly and courteous. Be sure if you have a AAA membership to use it on packing and shipping, since you can get up to 10% off. read more

Dude at the counter looked annoyed that I came in. I had a small box ready to go and he suggested that I buy a better box. I told him that the box I had was fine and that I just needed to send the package the cheapest way possible. He told me it was going to be $21 dollars. I told him that I've sent heavier and bigger packages for less. He then took another look in his "system" and found a shipping method for $13. That sounds about right. I also mailed a few letters and left. It wasn't until I got home when I saw that he charged me $1 for each letter and charged me $4 for a box that I didn't buy. It wasn't worth it for me to drive back and get a refund but I probably won't go to this location for shipping again. It's my fault for not checking the receipt before leaving the store. I won't be back and it's too bad because I'm always sending packages to my family on the east coast. This place sucks. Don't make it so obvious that you hate your job. Get some customer service skills and don't over charge your customers. read more

I needed help mailing a package to Asia internationally, and David saved me $200.00! No kidding. I had went to Fedex first and was shocked at the price it would cost me to mail a 9lb box from Seattle, USA to the Philippines. Over $400.00 within 3-5 days. So on the off chance, I stopped by UPS and the staff was very knowledgeable and very concerned about the pricing as well and was able to lower the price substantially. I did not get this service from Fedex Queen Anne Hill location. They weren't willing to go the extra step to assist me in finding a cheaper method. David didn't have to go the extra step, but he did anyway, so from now on he can handle all my international shipping needs from now on. Excellent service. Highly recommended and professional staff. Today I learnt that UPS Stores are just franchises that serve as customer facing end points. UPS Store locations don't have anything to do with lost packages, nor have a say when it comes to rules imposed UPS. This particular UPS Store went over and beyond to help me coordinate a pickup for a package that was delivered in Worcester, MA at my old address after I had already moved to Seattle, WA. In a nutshell, I could not authorize a friend to pick up a package from an Access Point, even when the identities of all individuals could be proved beyond doubt with the documents specified on the UPS website. The store owner at the 24 Roy St. location immediately understood my specific issue, identified a solution that would allow my friend to obtain the package without making the Access Point in Worcester step outside the rules. He saved me an incredible amount of inconvenience by helping me out merely because he was in a position to do so, without having anything at stake for himself. A five star rating is the least I can do in return for the trouble this store saved me. read more

This is the worst UPS store I have visited. We were trying to drop off a package that did not get picked up from our place. Instead of helping us get a return label the owner was extremely rude. He behaved as though he was doing a favour accepting the package. We would have been happy to pay but he was rude and unhelpful. We left the place without returning the package there and will never go back.
