We were so fortunate to have a Friend from the local area (Who have been bragging about this place for the past few months) that introduced to Doo's Seafood for our very 1st experience. And boy, what an amazing & tasty experience we had! Our Friend placed a special order for the 4 of us to dine with. As you can see in the attached video & pictures, we had pretty much the house combo of seafood boil in the herb garlic butter sauce. Our food was served in the large, rectangular aluminum container. While we all had our individual paper dish, plastic utensils, abundant of plastic gloves, and unlimited supply of white, paper napkins (And not the typical large roll of brown paper towels that is usually found in the restrooms, whew...). What we all loved about this book flavorings here is the nicely light taste of seasonings, and not overkill like some others, the seafoods were extremely fresh (Crab legs, shrimps, crawfish, and mussels) and perfectly cooked with the meats still moist, plump, and tasty. Plus, the veggies (Corn on the cobs, broccoli, red skin potatoes, and linguini) are, once again, perfectly cooked to taste, not soggy. Big "Thank You" for that!! Doos Seafood and Deli located off Lawrenceville Hwy, is a great place for lunch and dinner if you love fast food, Boiled Crawfish, Linguine Pasta & Gumbo, Clams, Corn & Turkey necks. Doos restaurant was clean and the bathrooms unlocked. We had a friendly waitress who took our food orders. Their menu selection was available for ordering online or in person. We ordered the 2lb crawfish, side of pasta, clams boiled eggs, shrimp, etc. Our order took about 15minutes. Doo's waitress packed our order up really well due to the different sauces. The amount of food we received was large portions and customer service was great. Doos has free parking also you can dine inside their restaurant. Go check them out. Just don't do it. Especially the lunch special. It is a total waste of money and calories. They give you a handful of rice and I mean a handful! The rice was the smallest portion I have ever received and was quite oily. Unfortunately we had to throw it away. However, the whiting was great and delicious. But one piece is 5.99$. I just had a seafood boil 2 days ago from a different place that did not satisfy my craving...so I realllllly wanted Juicy Crab today but my sister insisted on trying a new spot. So here we are at Doo's Seafood. This place is more of a takeout spot, but there were booths, so we just decided to dine in since we were really hungry. We both got the B1 combo. The standard comes with 1 cluster of crab legs, potatoes, corn, broccoli, and white rice. I got shrimp and mussels with mine. My sister got crawfish and sausage. We both got the "spicy cajun" flavor. I asked to combine flavors because they offered a creamy sauce and lemon pepper as well but the cashier said the "manager does not allow it". So, we got a side of the creamy sauce (extra $) which I guess is supposed to be garlic butter. When the food was ready, I go up to the counter and the cashier let me take the wrong tray to my table, so I had to bring it back and pick up the right tray. No gloves, utensils, napkins, or even a place to put the shells/trash were offered so I went back to the counter again and had to ask for it all, and just a regular grocery bag was provided for our shells/trash. My booth seat was already broken because it kept lifting up every time I moved but I still sat there anyway. Just looking at it, the tray was a nice portion, and the shrimp were a good size. However, the spicy cajun flavor is not very spicy at all and was kinda bland and very watery. The creamy garlic butter was super sweet and just tasted off. The shrimp tasted too shrimpy/fishy and one of them looked rotten. The bottom of it was very dark and discolored. You can kind of see it in my pic. My sister said her crawfish were tiny and her favorite thing was the broccoli. Lol. Overall it was super mediocre. I guess you get what you pay for at $20.99. After we were done, there is literally not 1 trash can where we can throw away our food. I asked the cashier from afar where can we put this? And she kinda hesitated and said "I can throw it away back here" but she just stood there so we left it on the table. I learned my lesson yet again...if I want a good seafood boil I'll just stick to Juicy Crab or Cap't Loui. Please go elsewhere. read more

This is officially my first and last time here. We walked in to a strong fish odor. I hate places that smell. It's usually a bad sign. That was my cue to leave but I didn't. Smh. It didn't smell like fried fish. More like we were sitting at the edge of the dock. I ordered the catfish/shrimp dinner. It came with two sides. 3 pieces of fish and 5 pieces of shrimp. It sounded like a good amount of food for the price (12.99). When the order was ready, I took pictures/video and then left. I should have stayed to get my money back. The catfish looked odd but I was so hungry. It was gross. It was layered with a thick coating of batter, tasted weird and not well seasoned at all. It looked the part but fell short of expectations. The shrimp was just as disappointing. They were over-cooked and coated in a thick batter. Sadly the fries and hush puppies were the highlight. I've passed this place tons of times and always wondered why the parking lot was not packed. Now I know! The staff was friendly and courteous. Maybe I came on a bad day. My family order from here all the time. We order B7 or B6 in medium spicy & order 8oz of cajun spicy sauce to dip our food in. We absolutely love it and we will continue to order from here. One thing to be careful about is that the bags do rip and LEAK. Unfortunately, the food has leaked EVERY TIME we picked it up. It's the yummy sauce that we don't want to waste. It sucks, and I needed a car wash last time we ordered. I did call and let the employees know last time. So next time I pick it up, I think I'll bring some heavy duty trash bag to prevent it from ruining my car again :( so be aware!!! read more

I do not recommend this place at all. The owner is shady and didn't own up to their mistakes. I ordered about $200 worth of food and opened up the boxes of fried rice and found it half empty. I asked them why it is half empty and is it possible to have it filled up since I am paying $10 per box. The front desk lady brought it back and I waited about 25 mins. They brought the rice back up and it was still the same. I asked to cancel the rice and the owner said no. I asked them if they didn't wanted to fill the rice up, why not just tell me instead of wasting 25 mins of my time. She just shrugged and that was it. I know times are tough but damn. read more

I tried out this chain after it replaced my favorite seafood boil place in Georgia. However, the Pleasant Hill location eventually closed too, making the Lilburn location the closest one to my house. I always get several pounds of crawfish with cajun seasoning and the smallest size of garlic butter creamy. I always wish I ordered more after finishing. If you call in and ask about the size of the crawfish, they're usually honest. After the pandemic, I didn't realize that they offered dine-in again because the restroom was closed. So my boyfriend and I ordered several pounds of crawfish and ate outside of a Subway. It was so good that we drove back, ordered another couple of pounds, and ate inside of the restaurant on the same day. It was just that good! I was on my way to revisit a b.b.q. joint just down the road & out of the corner of my eye saw DS. Why, not really sure but quickly looked it up on the Yelp app and the car was turned around. Craving Cajun at times find that It has to be made at home to find the right flavors and can take several hours of shopping, making stock and preparing a dish or dishes to get it right. Upon walking in found the place empty besides two guy's sitting at a table taking photos of some serious damage to some crawfish and crabs. The girls behind the counter greeted all that walked through the doors. I took a few minutes to peruse the menu then ask a few questions. Crawfish, Crabs and Crab legs are offered already seasoned, cooked & offered by the pound. Shrimp and Crawfish Boudin were tempting then spotted the Etouffee Yesss. Two sizes are offered medium (6.99) or large (8.99). This was a nice surprise the color threw me a bit that it was blond & ordered the medium shame on me. In the beginning flavor is there, then chunks of crawfish, keep stirring and you will find rice and shrimp cut into pieces and the tingle starts. It was gone in minutes. Several po boys are available in two sizes half or whole trust me the half is like eating a regular size the whole would probably be good for two people share or one seriously hungry man. I gave them 3 stars because of the following: Location: it's on Lawrenceville Hwy in Lilburn, so not to sure how convenient it is for those that doesn't live in the area. Plus, it takes a few minutes from the highway. Food: the crawfish was spicy! But I love my crawfish spicy, so I was extremely pleased with the flavoring. The sauce soaked into the crawfish, so it was good inside and out. Yummy! Price: We got 5 lbs of crawfish for roughly $30. Cheap compared to restaurants like Blazin Cajun, but then again, you're not being served. However, even if you got take out at Blazin Cajun, it would have still costed more than this place. Service: the service was horrible. The staff was extremely rude to my bf when he wanted to order. Ugh! I really like the crawfish too. Overall, great tasting crawfish... Horrible customer service. Not too sure if I would go back, but maybe since I really do like crawfish flavoring. read more
