I visit about once a month, and every time I'm grateful to see they're still going strong. This visit, I ordered the breakfast burrito, the crispy chicken sandwich, and for dessert, the tres leches cake. Everything was delicious, but the real star of the meal was the crispy chicken sandwich. Their homemade vegan chicken is absolutely incredible--so much so that I wish they would sell it by itself because I would definitely buy it! The atmosphere is another reason I keep coming back. I always choose to sit outside, where you can hear the water and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Even though the restaurant isn't far from the road, it still feels relaxing and secluded. The scenery is beautiful during the day, and it's especially charming in the evening. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I've never had a bad experience here, and that's rare these days. Between the amazing food, beautiful environment, and consistently great service, Darbster continues to be one of the best vegan restaurants around. I'll definitely be back again next month!

The dishes are creative, flavorful, and well-executed. But unfortunately, the service has been consistently slow on our last few visits. It takes forever to get drinks (even just a soda), water glasses stay empty, and servers don't check in at all. They even skipped someone in our group when taking entrée orders. It was very busy, which I completely understand, but the woman taking my to-go order was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. Being busy is understandable, but it shouldn't affect how customers are spoken to or treated. The person taking orders is often the first interaction a customer has, and that experience matters. A little patience, professionalism, and courtesy goes a long way, even during a rush. I enjoy coming to Aioli, which is why I hope management takes this feedback constructively and is more mindful of who is interacting with customers at the counter.
