I absolutely love this place. Been here 3 or 4 times, each time amazing. Not fancy, kind of a small house turned into a restaurant. Just a few tables because that's all they can comfortably manage. It still takes a while, for pretty much everything. Don't come here if you're in a rush. Service is very friendly, but not in any big hurry. Sit and relax, talk, whatever. They'll get to you. Once your order is taken, sit back and relax, you're not getting the food anytime soon. I guess everything is super freshly made by...1person? I'm not sure. But again, talk, relax, wait. It will come. And when it does you will be rewarded for your patience. We bartered meat Sambusas to start. They were very good, but a small order. I think next time I'll get 2 orders. For entree we shared a veggie sampler, a a meat entree. Everything comes with this spongy type of bread that you pick up the food with- no utensils here!!!it's part fun experience, part delicious experience. It's a bit messy so be ready. But wow everything was delicious. I wish they were a bit quicker but whatever, I picked a winner. I can't wait to come back again

The most amazing experience I've had at a local restaurant in a while - and it was a to-go order so definitely looking forward to coming back and dining in. The owners are absolutely the kindest and the pride they take in their establishment, their food and their customers was immediately evident. The restaurant itself had an atmosphere that felt like being invited into someone's home; the art photos and history and culture of Ethiopia permeate and brings a sense of warmth and comfort. Then the food! My first time trying Ethiopian cuisine and every dish was incredibly delicious. My favourite being the gomen, the adenguaree and the siga tibs ...ok I loved everything! Highly recommend and will be back very soon. (Sorry no food photos, smelled too good ... :)

First the food needs to be discussed. First the appetizer we chose was the lentil Sambusa which was so well done with perfect seasoning and a dip that enhanced the taste. Crisp outside with soft and perfectly blended seasoned lentils. We followed this with the 5 vegetable dishes. We had the Misir Wot, Gomen (who knew collard greens could taste so good) , Adenguaree which was my favorite, Shira Wot, and Ater Kik Alicia Wot. All well done and would definitely order again. We had the Doro Wot which was a nice meat addition. I would order the 5 vegetable sampler again with some other choices except for the Adenguaree and a different meat or even the fish next time. The Ethiopian Beer was also very nice and next time I will order the Tej Ethiopian Honey Wine. Loved the injera and they quickly brought renege we needed more. The restaurant itself is quite comfy with beautiful pictures and eclectic dishes and glasses. Service was courteous and attentive. I highly recommend eve though I worry that it will make it that much harder for me to get reservations. Queen of Sheena is truly a royal experience.

What a cute spot! Very eclectic interior, plates and cups sourced by the owner from all over the world. The owner was super sweet! Very friendly and helpful as this was my first time eating Ethiopian cuisine. The food...phenomenal! We did a 3 vegetable sampler. Everything was very flavorful. Also had the marinated beef-yummmm! It was amazing. Also try the Ethiopian beer. Give this place a try!

This is my fourth time visiting, and I cannot recommend this beautiful restaurant enough. The decor is charming, and the music is not overpowering, making it a perfect place for a good conversation over dinner. As vegetarians, my friends and I order two veggie platters and share them. It's difficult to think of a favorite item but the misir wot is unbeatable. I had the chance to speak with the owners and it is clear that they take great pride in providing an intimate dining experience and the best Ethiopian food in South Florida!

Believe all the praise you read in these stellar reviews. It is well deserved. This is a gem! We took a chance showing up on a Friday after opening without reservations. The kindness my man and women were working front of house. They seemed like owners. We were seated at a quiet table in the back. The decor is authentic, upscale, and clean. Service was friendly, informative, and quick. We ordered beverages (beer and honey wine). The glassware is all unique and unmatching. I love it. Ordered the 5 dish veggie plate. Had lentils, peas, chickpeas, green beans, and collards. All vegan for that plate. There is not a huge piece of injera under all the food or served in a basket, but instead pieces cut and rolled beside it. We enjoyed the presentation. Food was flavorful and hot. Great spot for a date, special occasion, or just a casual meal.

Queen of Sheba Ethiopian Restaurant in West Palm Beach OMG Delicious! We have been searching for Ethiopian in the area. We have lived in Boynton, Lake Worth and now PSL and never heard of this place. It has been around for 10 years. So I am an Injera snob. There is a right way and a wrong way. Queen if Sheba is everything the right way. Deliciousness. It is a Mkm and Pop hole in the wall.. need I say more. Go out and try something new. You won't be disappointed. If you already know Ethiopian food, you will be very happy Ciao for now and enjoy

My recent love for Ethiopian food has led me to try every Ethiopian restaurant possible! Queen of Sheeba was a good decent dinner. I was waiting for them to open back up as I saw they were closed "for the summer". They opened back up 11/6/24 and I just made it for dinner this past Thursday. Driving over here, it wasn't in a great neighborhood and there's construction across the street from them. But if you drive over a few more blocks, there's downtown West Palm. Queen of Sheeba had their own dedicated parking lot which was nice. We didn't have to find street parking or be subjected to the people wandering the streets. I thought the restaurant was beautiful outside and inside. I really liked how kind the staff were to us. They always smiled when they talked to us. This made all the difference and we both said we would come back just for how sweet they were. We ordered a doro wat - chicken dish. It doesn't say it on the menu but it comes with a veggie side! We also ordered a veggie platter. They offer it in 3 sides or 5 sides. We chose the 5 so we had a total of 6 veggie sides. I really enjoyed trying everything that was on our table. The injera was probably not enough for all the food we had, but they quickly brought us more. I also loved the boiled egg with the doro wat so we asked for another and it was also brought out pretty quickly. The Misir is my favorite! We had leftovers so we asked for our food to be boxed up. We also asked them to top us off with an additional side of Misir and they did it quickly. Loved how fast we were in and out. Definitely a meal I recommend to everyone!

We really enjoyed our meal at Queen of Sheeba. I've had Ethiopian food many times but it was the first time for my friend, who loved it. We tried the Qategna appetizer, which was very good. For our main course, we did the 5 vegetable dish sampler and selected the misir wot, gomen, ater kik alicha wot, shiro wot, and adenguaree. They were all delish. These dishes were served shared-style on a large oval plate, with rolls of injera (Ethiopian flat bread). The bread is really key :), it not only soaks up the flavors, but also helps moderate the spices. You eat by tearing off a piece of the bread and grabbing a portion of the vegetables, like a mini hand sandwich. I'm guessing they'll give you utensils if you prefer. We also tried the Doro Wot, which was delicious and came with another side and we selected the simbra roll which was tangy, hummus-like ground chic peas in rolls. The Ethiopian beer is on the lighter side and goes well with the food. Service was very friendly. It's a small restaurant and includes an outdoor area. Queen of Sheeba has tables and chairs; other Ethiopian restaurants I've been to had ottomans and low tables.

First time trying Ethiopian food in FL and it did not disappoint! Parking was very easy, there was a lot of street parking as well as a parking lot on the side. Restaurant was very nice decorated, it felt warm and cozy. The waitress was friendly and helpful in her recommendations. Food took a while however all the dishes were delicious! We ordered the meet sambusa appetizers; super juicy and flavorful. We got the Doro wot, asa tibs, misir wot, shiro wot and tikil gomen. All were very unique and tasty. I was mostly surprised with the injera which had a sweet yet sour taste. Overall it was a delicious meal and I will definitely be back to try other dishes! Wonderful restaurant and staff.

Another absolutely amazing savory meal. Everyone must Ty out this amazingly pleasant, full of flavor inside and of course the traditional Ethiopian food. The owner and Chef is one and the same. She is so lovely & welcoming , enhancing the already authentic Ethiopian decorated warm ambiance.

Lovely cozy restaurant. Extremely friendly and nice people and the food is yummylicioius. We ordered sambosa with lentils, vegetarian platter and doro wat. Everything was fabulous. But please make sure to have a reservation before. We just came in without any reservation but Lojo and Luddy(our seever) went above and beyond to accommodate us (7 people). Highly recommend.
