I called the shop afterward to explain my frustration, and to the owner's credit, he offered to make it right. I went back at 7:15 p.m., and he took care of it properly, and I left satisfied. As a gesture of appreciation for him taking the time to fix it, I even bought him a nice cigar. While I was there, I scheduled another appointment with him for today at 11 a.m.; he put it on his calendar, and I built my day around that time. When I showed up today for that 11 a.m. appointment, I was told the owner had left for the weekend with his lady--no call, no text, no notice, nothing. Half the barbers joke between themselves and cut up; I know this is how they regulate their stress but this is not how you run a franchise location.
