I'm by no means a bagel connoisseur, but I was raised in NY state so I've got a well thought out opinion. Here is my experience. 1. Don't wake up late in East Amherst on Sunday & think you will be there for breakfast at 11:00, you will miss it. There is a cut off, idk when it is. But I do know they close at 1pm. 2. This is a serious bakery, the bagels are well made and toast up nicely. It smelled wonderful in there. We chose assorted dozen uncut for $32 - rosemary & salt, pretzel, everything & plain. They were all delicious. We got the mixed veggie cream cheese. 3. The people waiting for their breakfast sandwiches seemed to have been there a while so, if you get there at a time when they are serving - be ready to enjoy your surroundings in a leisurely manner. There is limited seating inside & out. I will making a more well planned out trip in the future to try one of the funnily named breakfast sandwiches :)

Incredible! Worth the hype and worth the wait! We ordered online pretty early in the morning to make sure we got what we wanted. Service was great and bagels were even better. A LOT of cream cheese but if that's your thing, power to you. Will definitely have to make the trip out again.

I had heard some awesome things about Dopest Dough before from all my friends in EA. So when I was at Borderland, I knew I had to check them out. Instead of bagels though, they were slinging Grilled Cheese sandwiches and Tomato soup from their food truck. The truck was pretty cool. Converted school bus into a food truck making grilled cheese? Can't get cooler than that for a music festival weekend. First off, I can't say anything about the soup. I heard from others it was great. But I'm not a soup guy. I am also not a soup guy when it is 85 degrees out. That's just me though. So I opted for just the sandwich. I wonder everyday if I made the right choice. But then I remember I also am not a tomato guy and everything checks out. This grilled cheese though...It was AMAZING. I like to think that I can make a pretty mean grilled cheese at home when I want one, but this is on another level of grilled cheesiness. The bread is the star here, which makes sense with it being from Dopest Dough. But the crunch of the bread, the gooey cheese, and the flavor packed into each bite was incredible. I could have eaten 10 of these. I inhaled this sandwich. I get it, I know what you're thinking, "it's just a grilled cheese". I would have said the same thing reading this. But until you try it, you just will never know what you're missing. On that note, I gotta get out to EA and try out some more of their products ASAP.

Why is a side of cream cheese 3.50? Sure the bagel is delicious but this seems greedy...

My sourdough bread was super handsome and delicious.

I would never say no to a beautiful looking loaf of bread. This time, it was love at first sight. I knew I had to have a taste of sourdough bread from 'dopest dough'. Luckily, we had a party the next day and I was able to share this beautiful creation with everyone. It was a hit. We liked everything about it, the look, the texture and of course the taste. We also purchased one everything bagel. Not being an expert, I can't say whether it was good or great. It was huge and I think it didn't have enough satisfying chewiness. It's also wonderful if a bagel is modestly sweet, and this one didn't have much of this important to me factor. Try some and have your own opinion, please. The best way to catch some of their baked goods is to follow 'dopest dough' on social media, or sign up for the mailing list. They do lots of pop ups around town.

I will happily post again because this breakfast sando deserves its own post. Preface this with - I was born and raised in central NJ - land of delicious noms. Thanks to Dopest Dough, I can have a little bit of home on a bagel :) I highly recommend their "The Boss" sando- pork roll, egg, and cheese with Boss Sauce on a Hot Grandma bagel. If you want to kick it up a notch- get it on the hot grandma- if you want to keep it mellow - get it on something else :) I of course happened to have a Wawa diet half and half in my fridge and of course paired it with the NJ delicacy

Best bagels and breakfast sandwiches in town! We had the Bodega cat ( bacon, egg &cheese) and the Billy ( salmon, cucumber, carrots, dill, red onion, lemon, capers and chive spread). The bacon they use is unbelievable and the Billy was the best smoked salmon bagel I've ever had. Take a ride to East Aurora to get fresh local bagels and an amazing sandwich.

Such a fun way to celebrate gratitude, friendship, and, of course, cake. And this cake did not disappoint! We had so much fun anticipating what the flavor of the month would be. Since I'm a fan of cream cheese frosting, my friend requested that it be put in the middle, which I loved. The cake itself wasn't overly sweet, had a wonderfully tender crumb, the perfect tartness from the lemon, and was topped with big, fresh blackberries. Already looking forward to doing this again!

We went for brunch and while it seemed busy, the service was excellent and the food matched it. My wife got the Pork Belly Hash which contained pork belly, two eggs over easy, diced potatoes, and sautéed peppers and onions, along with an iced mocha. She stated the food and coffee were excellent. I went with the Blue Eyed Classic which was scrambled eggs (perfectly creamy and fluffy), a sausage patty, diced potatoes, and sourdough toast with butter, along with a cold brew. It hit the spot. Everything we had was excellent, and we'll likely be back if we're in the area. Highly recommend if you're in East Aurora and want a solid breakfast spot with a great vibe.

I ordered a Chai Latte and then a box of baked goods and a baguette. The baguette was that perfect crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Then the Earl Grey Blueberry scone was just delicious. I also got orange pistachio scones and molasses cookies. They all freeze well so i usually buy two and freeze one. And finally the Chai Latte was just perfect. Not too sweet and no heartburn. I don't know why but sometimes that's a side effect of Chai. So not only is the food delicious but the people watching is worth the price of admission. A must try.

That's ESB, if you were to come here for a bills game, or Niagara Falls, or whatever else. This charming little bakery just hits all the right spots. The egg sammy's are down right delicious. Try the spicy aioli, not so much spice, but it pairs so well with it. Thick cut bacon and a brioche bun. C'mon now. The crème brule french toast is 2 large slabs of homemade bread, that just tastes so fresh. The line will probably be long, but that gives you time to decide on what pastry to grab in the array of treats. There's truly something for everyone, and it is all great. Also make sure to grab some of the house made sourdough, got the Italian loaf for garlic bread for dinner and it was terrific. Perfectly balanced with the light and airy inside with a crunchy undercarriage.

I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. Honestly, it was one of the best bagels I've ever had. The bagel was incredibly soft with a perfectly crisp toasted exterior. It was so good that I bought a dozen bagels and a container of the jalapeño cream cheese to bring home. Unfortunately, the next morning I woke up with what appeared to be food poisoning and was sick for my entire flight home. I had frozen the cream cheese overnight so it would stay cold during my trip and refrigerated it again as soon as I got home. On July 17, my partner had an everything bagel with the same cream cheese, and they became sick the following day as well. Meanwhile, my mother-in-law ate one of the plain bagels and did not experience any illness. Because of that, I suspect the cream cheese may have been the source, although I can't say for certain. I'm giving 3 stars because of the apparent foodborne illness. The customer service, cleanliness, and the taste of the food were all excellent, and I genuinely loved the bagels. I hope this was just an isolated incident, but I wanted to share my experience so the business can investigate if needed.
