I did cut the steak into several bites per piece, so it was a good sized portion. My only preference would have been some garnish (greens maybe?). The mussels normally come with bread, but I let them keep it in the kitchen to sub my own GF bread from home. The broth was thin and lightly flavored, which I enjoyed almost like a soup (but was too embarrassed to tip the bowl). The patron to my right bemoaned the loss of a thicker broth from a previous recipe, so the bartender brought him some scampi butter which helped apparently. I really loved the light broth and found it soaked into the bread quite nicely. Friendly bartender gal cashed me out at my request before I took my drink on the patio. $30 plus tip, well spent. I could be a regular here, and look forward to another visit to Wilmington next time we are in Philly.

It was floating in the broth weighted down by the shrimp and soon all but dissolved into mush. So you can see that I am the problem. Partner loves that dish and this place, you probably will too.

Food experience was definitely upgraded. The meat was tender, and full of rich flavors that danced on the tongue. Every bite dissolved in my mouth, revealing the love that went into its making. It was velvety and luscious and went well with the dish, bringing out the natural flavor of the meat. The mashed potatoes were whipped to perfection, light and airy and creamy and they went so well with the rest of the meal, each complementing the other. We went there to celebrate, and we had an awesome dinner! The service was top-notch, and everything we had was super tasty--crab bisque, a cheeseburger, and a salmon BLT.
