Came for dinner without reservations and they were booked. I asked about the high tops and she said they were first come first serve. Surprisingly there was one high top left, but we sat there and waited. Finally after about 20 min my husband asked if we could get menus, and we were told that our server didn't know we were sitting there. Once we ordered drinks, we placed our food orders and all was good. The pepperoni pizza with hot honey did not disappoint! The arugula salad with tuna was fresh and delicious. The parking situation is atrocious. We arrived a touch before 1pm on a Wednesday and the parking lot was completely full. There is a sign to park somewhere else but there is nowhere else that was clear. I can see why the parking situation is bad though, because the food was great. Especially that fucking bread they give you at the beginning. Holy shit. That is a lost art and they have it down. I ordered gnocchi, which was delicious. GF ordered spaghetti with clams, also tasty. Walking in- It was packed, decor and style wasn't anything special and it was somewhat low staffed. Service- Waiters were not attentive and food took forever to come out. Meal- The caesar salad was a bit underdressed but the parts that were dressed were good. 1-Star Review: Deeply Disappointing Experience at Capers & Lemons I had one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had at Capers & Lemons. From the very beginning, our waitress was completely inattentive. In over an hour, all we received were our appetizers. Meanwhile, multiple couples who arrived after us were served their meals long before us, even though we had ordered well before they ever walked in. After another long stretch with no update, our waitress finally returned--over an hour later--and simply said, "I'm sorry for the long wait, we have a large party." This explanation made no sense because the large party seated in the same room as us (who arrived the same time we did) received their food before us as well. The most concerning part of the entire experience was the clear difference in how customers were treated. It genuinely felt like this restaurant prioritized its white customers, while customers like myself, who are Black, were not treated with the same urgency, attention, or basic courtesy. That feeling alone was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. After sitting for 1 hour and 40 minutes with nothing but appetizers and no real service, it was clear that this restaurant does not value all of its guests. I will never return and would not recommend Capers & Lemons to anyone looking for fair, respectful, or timely service. read more

This place is tucked away in an office park. Not something you are going to find unless you are looking. I had a strange pasta dish with corn which sounds yuk but it was crazy good. Our server was very personable and attentive. Only complaint is it's very loud (it was a Wednesday night so can't imagine a weekend). They could use some kind of sound abatement. read more

Ambience is very neat and cute, 100%. Food was....meh... The chicken piccata was on par, what I expected a chicken piccata to taste like, nothing special, nothing above and beyond. The pappardelle was boring and too porky. The fried calamari was not very well made. Lemon sorbet was not too sweet (which was good), but did not have lemon flesh/little tiny pieces of lemon in it, making it boring. Ordered from Uber Eats "priority". Ordered calamari and shrimp scampi. Absolutely a total waste of money. Calamari was soggy with no crisp to the breading. Calamari was gummy. The shrimp scampi, at $21, was sent with an absolutely wet piece of garlic bread slopped with four pieces of shrimp soaked in butter and garlic. It's like they put the bread in just to soak up the sauce. No pasta to go with it. I will absolutely never eat from here again. I used to go in person, and I never thought I'd be so disappointed. They charge $5/person to bring cupcakes. That is ridiculous- I have been charged $2 pp at other establishments- fine, we are using their plates and utensils, but $5 is insane. We are going to another lovely restaurant that doesn't charge anything for cake or self -serve cupcakes. read more

I've been here four times in the last two weeks (recall location ... no competition ... ambiance). I'm part of the problem of why this place continues to skirt by. But after four consecutive misses things need to change. Service: - Visit 1: My wife puts down the newborn and goes to dinner at 8pm with her friend. Server seats them and audibly sighs, "We're not a late night spot, let me know your order." Okay. - Visit 2: I'm vegetarian so I order the same customized entree. Pasta comes out with the meat sauce. Mistakes happen. Okay. - Visit 3: Appetizer order comes out, burnt, before the first glass of wine. - Visit 4: We're seated in a corner table outside. It's infested with gnats. I get it we're outdoors but ones landed in my beer, they're all over the jams, cheese and bread. Restaurants empty. We ask the server to move to a spot closer to the front of the patio and a new beer. She says audibly, "It's not going to make a difference." Guess what.. it made a difference. The half beer replacement was a nice touch. Food: Overall depends on time of day and who's in the kitchen. Dinner service is better than lunch. Truffle garlic bread is delicious. We even loved visiting The Market where this wonderfully energetic and sweet girl Reaghan helped us pick out a few items to take home! Before visiting I had read a lot about the chicken piccata so that is what I had as my main meal. It was moist and flavorful and did not disappoint. I had the stuffed meatballs as an appetizer and those as well had a lot of flavor and were amazingly tender. It's definitely a little more on the pricey side than other area Italian restaurants which is not a criticism, just something to be aware of. read more

Caper & Lemons--great spot for my hubby's early birthday lunch! I took off on a weekday so we decided to go out for lunch: we indulged in the bread and oil dip & shared the calamari appetizer. The service was friendly, and our shared entrees hit the spot. I savored every bite of my half of the tender Porchetta sandwich, although a touch more broccoli rabe would have been perfection. Meanwhile, my better half enjoyed the grilled salmon salad, complete with a dressing that rocked our taste buds. The salmon portion was a tad small, but it didn't dampen our lunchtime bliss. I had to scramble to book a large luncheon for a private room. A phone call there put me in touch with Heather right away. She was a pleasure to work with, and coordinated everything. My guests really liked the luncheon - particularly the house salad with really flavorful greens, wonderful salmon (the best I had in any restaurant recently) and tiramisu. I was greeted by a amiable hostess with nice eyebrows. The servers were friendly, and refilled my drink quickly. The restaurant had plenty of parking. Walking into the restaurant, it was very stylish, and well-decorated. For those careful about eating an a restaurant for fear of getting Covid, there is a patio, with tables not close to each other. One of my favorite spots. Went back for lunch and tried a few new things (I typically just get the chicken picatta). As always, the service was great and our server was very friendly. I had a cup of the minestrone soup and it was amazing! There were big pieces of mushrooms at the bottom and it was a little spicy. It was the best soup that I've had from there. For meals, I tried the Salsiccia pizza and the Chicken Romagnola. Both were very good! The pasta wasn't too heavy and we loved the noddle that was used. We dined at this restaurant for my husband's birthday. My husband had been there for work many times before in past years and it was ok. They were not busy during the time we arrived. The waitress was annoying and offputting to put it mildly. She was haughty at best. She offered to pour the water for me and I simply said I would pour myself. She said she was supposed to be of service so I put the bottle down. She grabbed the bottle at the neck with her plain hands. She said "Did I anger you?" What a question. Really set the tone for the evening. Throughout her service she was distant and uncaring. She never came to check on us. We spoke with the manager and during this time the entire waitstaff was giving us dirty looks as they walked by. She said she would comp our bill, but after waiting 15-20 minutes, she never came over to do it. After the waitress presented our bill, we went to find the Manager and she was nowhere to be found, so we just paid it. At that time it was clear the manager lied to us about comping the bill and was only placating us. Never again, I will never come to this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing though. But the service is ridiculous. There are many other restaurants to choose from, don't chance it with this place. read more

Went for lunch with my aunts the other day. Nice atmosphere, good service and a nice menu. Was disappointed with some of our dishes. The pasta was pretty good, and when my aunt asked for extra sauce, we were charged an extra 4$ for a small cup of sauce- WTF?? A bowl of soup of the day, chicken veg with some angel hair pasta, was forgettable. My chix parm sandwich was pitiful with a small roll with a few slices of chicken cutlet, with a very few potato chips on the side. No sauce, No cheese, not toasted or baked, just a few slices of chicken on a dry roll. NOT what a chicken parm sandwich should be for the $$. Won't be rushing back. read more

At 8:15, after work, I walked in the restaurant and had a seat in the "lounge." While the bar was full, the restaurant was not full by any stretch. There were only two other tables in the "lounge" with patrons seated at them. I sat there and sat there. Servers came and went. AFTER 20 MINUTES of waiting without any acknowledgement, I stood up and started to walk from the table. Only then did a server come up to me. I've been here several times but this is unacceptable.
