The food was really good. It all came out really hot and fresh. The server was friendly and attentive. Restaurant was nice looking and quiet. No complaints and will be back.

Came here for a work lunch. The fried Brussels were delicious! I also had the salmon on a bed of orzo pasta and that was fantastic as well. I honestly had no idea there was as a restaurant close by and I'm glad I know now!

Came for dinner without reservations and they were booked. I asked about the high tops and she said they were first come first serve. Surprisingly there was one high top left, but we sat there and waited. Finally after about 20 min my husband asked if we could get menus, and we were told that our server didn't know we were sitting there. Once we ordered drinks, we placed our food orders and all was good. The pepperoni pizza with hot honey did not disappoint! The arugula salad with tuna was fresh and delicious. The service was great once it started. Overall, we had a great meal. Can't wait until their new restaurant in Kennett Square opens!

The parking situation is atrocious. We arrived a touch before 1pm on a Wednesday and the parking lot was completely full. There is a sign to park somewhere else but there is nowhere else that was clear. I can see why the parking situation is bad though, because the food was great. Especially that fucking bread they give you at the beginning. Holy shit. That is a lost art and they have it down. I ordered gnocchi, which was delicious. GF ordered spaghetti with clams, also tasty. Service was great, cocktails were great. If something pissed me off they are lucky I waited so long to write a review and no longer remember.

Great little spot. The service was awesome. I went with the recommended chicken panini & my wife had the salmon. Very good. We met friends from south del. & we're from w. Chester. Glad we found this, will be back.

Always a great choice. Excellent food with a rotating seasonal menu. Great place to have a meeting or party. Awesome ambience. Authentic Italian market always has a good selection to take on the road. Love this place!

Ambience is very neat and cute, 100%. Food was....meh... The chicken piccata was on par, what I expected a chicken piccata to taste like, nothing special, nothing above and beyond. The pappardelle was boring and too porky. The fried calamari was not very well made. Lemon sorbet was not too sweet (which was good), but did not have lemon flesh/little tiny pieces of lemon in it, making it boring. Essentially, two of us paid $120 to eat boring food at a cute place.

Urban Kitchen can be described best as a diner for the 21st century offering a variety of tempting options. I went for the Friday classics of fish and chips that included a truly amazing cream of crab soup! The crab soup was oh so good and yes I found some shell but that was fine because this was real crab!! The delivery of my dinner made my. mouth water ... onon rings over French fries with perfectly beer battered cod that proved to me that the folks in the kitchen know what they're doing (flaky and moist cod yum). My dining partner had a cheeseburger, which in my opinion was ho hum compared to my dinner but she said it was really good. Oh, the coleslaw was top notch too. My only complaint... it was so filling I couldn't eat all those perfect French fries so they became part of the next day's breakfast! Was truly a great Friday dinner!!

Just the vibe is awesome but to meet Mike. This is his place. He is the guy that was on D, D, & D. An absolute treat. Slow night so I got to talk with him. Again, more on that. The chicken skin appetizer. OMG. So good. I need to figure out how to make these at home. Had the FTC burger and tots as Mike was nice enough to dissuade me away from the Moo Caliente. Says on the menu "VERY spicy". Mike gave me the Reaper aioli for my tots. Holy hot! But tasty. If you like really spicy, take the Moo Caliente on. Now Mike is the owner, bartender, and designer of all this. I have never had the opportunity to actually speak with the guy I saw on TV but he is so down to earth he acts like just an employee. What an honor to get to hang out and speak with the owner. An incredible experience and you must try Farmer & the Cow if in Wilmington

This is a lovely spot for a special occasion because they give you a giant sparkler for the guest of honor at the end of your meal. It's an intimate restaurant. I loved the unique lights at the tables that felt like taper candles. I'm not sure if it's because of what we ordered, but wait times were really long. It took about an hour for us to get our entrees. Thankfully we were in good company. And our party enjoyed their cocktails. We started with the brussels and cauliflower. This was beyond delicious. You have to order this as a starter. They had a quail special and monkfish special the evening we were there. The birthday girl ordered the quail. It took about an hour to arrive and came undercooked. Thankfully they were kind about cooking it more. I think she enjoyed it once she got to eat. Her husband got the pork chops. I shared the monkfish with a friend and really enjoyed it. We also got the seared tuna for the table and that was good too. Our waitress was super kind especially with the food hiccups. They have one gender neutral restroom stall. It has the prettiest wallpaper. We were stuffed by the time the dessert menus came out. Thankfully they still gave us a mini scoop of ice cream for the birthday girl with a sparkler. It was lots of fun. I think wait times were long for the specials and if we stuck to the regular menu things would've arrived faster. I'd go back to try more yummy food.

We don't go out much in Delaware, so friend's recommendations carry a lot of weight. Everything tasted divine. I would order all these again. I love the different size glasses they come in. We got lychee sour (twist on sweet lychee martini, dirty martini (gave 6 olives :), and red wine sangria. The ambiance, the sweet servers, and the delicious food will definitely make us want to visit again for a special occasion.

The attendees all complimented on how wonderful it turned out. I met with Joe, the owner, who called me back immediately and met with me the same day. He was incredibly accommodating and I picked from one of their funeral reception packages but customized it by adding several more items. He even offered to stream the kind of music I wanted in the background. Because the restaurant doesn't open until late afternoon we had the restaurant to ourselves so parking was easy and there were no distractions. The food was displayed beautifully but more importantly it tasted good. Tyler, the bar manager, had a great personality and when not making drinks walked around clearing tables and offering to get people drinks since it was an older crowd. All in all, if you are looking for a place to hold an event I highly recommend The Marshallton. I thought it was priced reasonably and they really delivered. Really can't say enough about the food and management. Im so happy we chose the Marshallton and will definitely recommend them to everyone I know.
