Mike is probably one of the best, most professional, and reliable electricians I have ever worked with. I had some issues with my electrical outlets in 2019 and called my Home Warranty to see if they would cover the work under warranty. They sent Mike out and I am extremely happy they did. Scheduling was a breeze and he fixed all my issues back then. Fast forward to 2022 and I was having some other electrical issues in another part of my home. Reached out to my home warranty and kindly asked if they could send Mike out again - they agreed and I am again grateful for it. Mike's scheduling service reached out 1 hour after being assigned a claim and he showed up the next day. What service!! Like my first experience Mike assessed the issue and went to work. Mike is so great!!! He fixed so much stuff and installed three fans along the way. He even diagnosed the random light switch that turned nothing on so now that works and he diagnosed the light that wouldn't work and found the previous people cut the wires at the switch and tucked them behind other stuff. We had two other people out to try and fix those two issues and they couldn't find the problem but Mike found the problems and fixed them! This guys is great!! read more

go elsewhere. i don't take pleasure in writing bad reviews but this was a very bad experience. had a whole house fan that needed replacing and it was arranged via a home warranty company. we were left waiting for the work to be done due to dorn scheduler oversight. the owner seemed more interested in blaming his employees than demonstrating any concern or regret. most importantly, the work: a fan was installed in december. finally needed it this summer and realized it didn't work. turns out the fan installed is not the fan needed for this system. it doesn't work and would never work. had they tested it, they would have known that. I asked for the owner to correct the problem and he deferred again to a lower level employee and ignored subsequent texts. i understand the challenges perhaps of working with a home warranty company but i can't recommend a company that doesnt take ownership or accountability for mistakes and doesn't stand by their work. read more

Soooo if you're looking for good customer service, patience in helping you understand situation, someone that stays longer than 5 mins, someone who doesn't say let me go get an approval n then doesn't come back, someone that doesn't get upset when u ask questions, someone that doesn't get PISSED OFF N SLAMS yer front door when u ask for a copy of invoice before they walk out the door to leave, someone that doesn't call you names, THIS ISNT THE COMPANY!!!!! I put up a yelp comment early yesterday because of the crappy service that I got and then was called by the owner Mike Dorn saying that if I took the Yelp comment down he would come back out to my house in an hour. The first technician ghosted me. What that means is he came in for about three minutes. Said he had to go get an approval to change the breakers in my fuse box said he was going out to his car to get an approval. Three hours later he never shows back up, doesn't tell me that he's leaving or anything. I'm just sitting here waiting. I guess I have nothing to do all day . I took down the Yelp comment to get them to come back out to try to assess the problem. Well needless to say since he's the owner, I figured that I was going to get good customer service and a patient guy. I thought he would be someone who cares about their customers, SINCE HE IS THE OWNER, that's not the case. I received a text message from him yesterday saying it's not all about the customer. I have saved the text messages from his nasty comments to me and that comment right there was the main one. If you're looking for somebody to stay there for five minutes and pay them 85 bucks and you don't get any answers or they have to get an approval blah blah blah this is your company go for it don't say I didn't warn you!!! He also threatened my friend to call the home warranty company and have her home warranty canceled because he didn't like my attitude. I'm sorry Mike but it is all about customer service and the sooner you learn that the better, maybe you won't be going out of business like I heard the first technician say you were. I am not surprised at all. I'm sure you're going to put on here that I was a liar and all this other stuff but us customers are pretty smart n look out for each other especially since were the ones that keep you in business. I have never once put anybody on Yelp except for you, it was the worst customer service ever and you slapped my the front door because I wanted a copy of the invoice is completely ridiculous and totally disrespectful. You told me you had to go out to your truck write it up and that you were going to bring it in to me. You also didn't state on that invoice what you told me you were going to about the breakers. Just remember I didn't do this to you. You did this to you! This guy ripped me off for $1,500. He gets extremely aggressive if you question anything. He came out to replace all my electrical outlets and only changed out 4 downstairs then took off. I noticed he replaced them with used material. I then filed a complaint with the state licensing department and they told me he wasn't even licensed. I called the home warranty company to file a complaint and I was told his agreement had been terminated. Please be very careful as he is very shady, lies and will take off with your money. Biggest disaster ever for the most simplest thing..installing a fan. Replacing an fan with a like fan ...simple thing. I informed them that it was possible that there was water in the fan (which was why it was not working. ..they said no, no water in the fan. Before he removed the fan, I said I am putting a tarp down just in case. They took the fan down, and when he walked out with it, rusted water poured all over the carpet. He dropped the fan and ran out of there and said he wasn't going to removed the old fan. On contact of the company, they declined to take care of the carpet. In addition, the fan was never balanced.
