This is really an excellent company, prompt, efficient, intelligent and very easy to work with. We recently switched homeowners insurance companies, and the new company gave us a short deadline to replace our old electrical panel or they would cancel the new policy. Stressful. We got a few quotes, and Eddie's quote was about 25% less than the other quotes. From the very beginning, he always got back to me immediately when I contacted him, and gave thorough answers and advice about everything I asked. We have heard from several contractors over the years that our 1968 Mission Viejo house is a bit quirky, and this project was no exception. As the electrical panel was being replaced, Eddie discovered that for some reason our house had never had grounding rods. He installed them, and arranged all of the related city inspections for both the panel and the grounding rods. There was no extra charge for the grounding rods, even though it took him quite a bit of time and it was something he had not anticipated. In addition, stucco repair was included in his quote (different from the other quotes), and the stucco repairman did a beautiful job of matching our texture. Eddie really went above and beyond to help us meet our insurance deadline, and we are very grateful. Eddie is a very nice guy and both of his other workers were super nice as well. I hired Eddie from Renewed Electric to install an EV charger at my home, and I'm very happy with the experience. I reached out to six electricians (two never responded) and Eddie was the first to get back to me. He gave me two pricing options based on different ways to approach the job, both of which were reasonable compared to others. Another electrician tried to base their price on the type of car I own, which felt like price gouging. At the end of the day, electricity is electricity--it doesn't typically care what kind of car you drive, and the technical requirements (in my case) are the same regardless. As suggested above, Eddie's pricing was fair and aligned with what I found online. He was punctual, prepared, and took the time to clearly explain everything after I sent him detailed photos. He didn't mind that I watched him for a few minutes to better understand the process. In fact, he was eager to show me what he'd be doing and how he'd do it. About 90 minutes later, he knocked on my door and walked me through the finished work. The reason to stop here and hire this company - most electricians just wanna make the quick money and leave... They don't wanna crawl under the house to fix the main problem they don't want to rewire rooms and they definitely don't want to tell you what's going on... they just wanna change out a fuse and get paid and go home... The reason why I hired this guy is because he explained things from front to back to me - I now understand electricity coming into the house , electricity going through my house, electricity in my box. Electricity in my appliances, standard codes for rooms... And if my house meets that code or does not meet that code, Which is way more than I understood in the past because nobody wanted to explain everything in full detail - now that he took the time to explain things to me I can understand why the other people just fixed one thing and then another thing goes wrong over and over and over again. Eddie took the time to explain it took the time to fix it correctly and told me all my options... After a lifetime of not understanding electricity I feel like I actually understand it and have fixed what I needed to fix really well with this guy... I will most likely never use another electrician again because the other electricians just don't explain things probably because they don't want to crawl through underneath the house to actually fix the main problems etc - they just want a quick easy job quick money and go home.
