Italian panini with soup and the best charchuterie board I ever had
    Orsolya H.

We found this little gem on the side of the road while vacationing at Oakhurst. I was craving charchuterie board and this place had it so we decided to visit it. The 2 ladies who ran the place were super nice at the small, home like restaurant. Turned out, one of them is from Portugal and she is an actual wine maker, who selling her wine there pairing with delicious food. I ordered the charchuterie board, which was amazing and my fiancee ordered a panini and a soup. Everything tasted soo good! Plus I love those places, where the owner taking the time to come out, have a little talk with the guests, turning a simple dinner to a homey, friendly place. Oh and they have a restaurant cat, who just walks around and saying hi to everyone. Of we visit Oakhurst again, we will definitely go back there! Thank you for the great service and yummy treats Ladies!

What a hidden gem! We found this locally owned winery/restaurant on yelp. Decided WHY NOT? What a great place. Sat outside and did a wine tasting flight followed by some tapas. The service was friendly and nicely paced. One person running all the tables with a smile. We noshed on shrimp, chorizo and the amazing pear salad. The wines were all delish and we ended up with some to go :)

Such a cute place for dates and affordable wine tasting! We got 6 wines to taste and they got increasingly better. We also got a charcuterie board with was a nice combination. Staff was friendly and locale for oakhurst.

Definitely a must stop when visiting oakhurst! This place is tucked away but Apple Maps took us there. The wine was so good and while sitting outside you can see where some of it was grown. The service was speedy and I really enjoy trying all the different wines they offer. The flight in my picture was enough for all 3 adults to share and try! Will be back if I am ever in the area again.

Quaint restaurant with super friendly service. Unique menu with a variety of dishes. Best to call for reservations as they only have 8 or so tables inside. Lots outside but wintertime is cold... Very casual, very eclectic. Enjoyed all dishes especially the chocolate tort! OMG! A must to order if you like gooey yet crunchy chocolate with sea salt. Olive oil added an incredible savory taste. Enough to share.

When you're a solo traveler, making a new friend is a lovely addition to your memory collection!

Service was exceptional, even made a friend with a lovely black cat! Never had a flight with 6 options!! Ambiance is inviting and not too intimidating. Would definitely come back. Thank you for making my Yosemite visit a wine-markable experience and a welcome rest day after so much hiking!

Found this little gem on a romantic weekend getaway. Love the vibes and the Sunday brunch is delightful. Will go back again for the wine and other food options!

A hidden gem in Oakhurst! So tasty and beautiful ambience. Very friendly staff. Thank you for a great experience!

Such a beautiful and peaceful setting in the mountains.

Charming little winery and kitchen near Yosemite's South entrance. This was a great way to begin our trip to Yosemite. Stayed in Oakhurst for the first time since we were traveling from CA instead of NV. The location is surrounded by nature and visiting in late October offered the perfect outdoor experience. Did a wine tasting and ordered some food among the trees. We shared some amazing wild mushroom and sherry soup, burrata with local blistered tomatoes, and baked Camembert with golden raisin compote and honey. Everything was great and loved all the local ingredient's. We even had the cutest little black kitty come join us at our table and it was the highlight of an already fab afternoon.

For a highly rated spot this was such a disappointment. We came here to unwind and have a great meal after a long day at Yosemite, and everything we ordered was below average in quality and overly priced. The steak was supposed to be medium, and came more rare. the bread was dry and tasted stale. the eggplant had zero seasoning or flavor to it. Save your money and time and eat elsewhere

I visited this spot last weekend and came in Saturday night. Officially my favorite place to eat in the Yosemite area! I'll never forget how delicious that steak was. There was one employee and she was hustling the entire restaurant by herself and it was full! She did amazing, I hope she is there when we come back.

The owner and staff were super welcoming and walked us through all their offerings, which made the experience even better. We kicked things off with a cider flight--our favorites were Early Harvest and Graveyard. Early Harvest was simple, crisp, and just sweet enough, while Graveyard reminded me of a Scottish smoky cider aged in whiskey barrels. I do wish there were a few more sweet options overall and possibly a current up to date list of what's on tap somewhere online, but everything was well-crafted and flavorful! To cool off, we grabbed a cider slushy (highly recommend!) and wandered the property. We visited the goats, strolled through the apple trees, and made friends with their big fluffy Pyrenees who was living his best life napping in the shade. I picked up a bottle of Early Harvest and a t-shirt to bring back to DFW. It was the perfect stop--relaxed, local, and a great way to start the afternoon before heading into Yosemite. After our tasting, we walked through some of the apple trees, visited the cutest goats, and made friends with their big, lazy Pyrenees dog who was living his best life soaking up attention. I picked up a bottle of Early Harvest and a t-shirt to bring back to DFW--both worth it! Such a charming little spot--relaxed, scenic, and just the right detour before Yosemite!

I'm not a big wine fan so usually I'll do the slurp thing to taste the notes or take a sip or two and then pass my glass off to my husband, rather than dumping it. I've been to umpteen wineries around California, the US and internationally. This winery gives, hands down, the stingiest pours I've ever experienced. I could maybe get two sips out of a pour. And yet this tasting was $15 for 4 wines, but if you're a party of 6 or more, the fee for the same tasting goes up to $20 per person! Since when does pouring maybe a half ounce into more glasses warrant everyone in the party being charged $5 more bucks a piece? It feels stingy. I went to 4 wineries in the same weekend I visited Crū. J. Lohr in Paso charges $20 per person for 6 generous pours and a free pencil with herb seeds to plant at home. Eberle Winery in Paso does free tastings and yet have generous pours, free bottled water and a free tour of the underground storage facility. Quady in Madera charges $5 per person for a tasting and not only were the pours generous, we tried 7 wines, got to double back on our favorites before we ordered a half case. The server was nice and personable. I have no complaints about her. Overall it doesn't feel like a fun wine tasting experience when it seems like they're rationing their wine. While not the end of the world, there isn't much of a view for the outdoor patio because the tasting room patio is between the building and a fence with a road on the other side. If you're wanting to see vineyards while you sip, this isn't the spot for you. There was also a couple with a toddler at a table - with an iPad, playing a video outloud without headphones - while the parents were wine tasting inside, so just know that kids are allowed if that matters to you. It is a modest winery set back up on a hill. It is a gorgeously isolated location. The winery has a philosophy of less is more.
