If you know me, you know this is a subject I take very seriously. It was perfectly sweet and it packed a punch!! We kicked things off with the cheese dip and it was amazingly smooth and salty. This place was wonderful. The food was delicious, but even more impressive was the staff. The young host seated us quickly and told us to enjoy our meal. Our server (Helen A.) was so friendly and attentive--totally top-notch. She checked in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I have pretty high standards when it comes to Mexican food and are always on the hunt for a good Mexican restaurant, so we decided to try Dos De Oros. The complimentary chips and salsa were nothing special. Queso is kind of the deal breaker for us and unfortunately we didn't love the queso here, but everything else we ordered was 10/10! My husband got the grilled chicken and shrimp- the shrimp was chef's kiss! I got the arroz con pollo, which had the queso in it, but it was a lot better in this than on its own. We got mango margs that were huge and our waitress let us kind of customize. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The restaurant is huge and had a lot of tables/ dining areas. I see this place raved about on NextDoor app all the time! We ordered online for pick up. When we got there, they couldn't find our order in their system. It turned up later after we had to show them our email confirmation and they reset their tablet or something. Finally the found it and ended up not having steak mini chimichanga for my combo, so I went with chicken. I had a combo that was a taco, mini chimichanga, Chile relleno. Mom had chicken alambras. Their chips and salsa were great. Seriously, awesome. The taco was fine. The Chile relleno was definitely not my favorite. It had about a teaspoon of cheese in it and the rest was filled with bland taco meat. The mini chimichanga, I would bet money was a frozen item, similar to those southwest egg rolls you get from Chili's. It was nasty, I never even saw chicken in it. Mom's chicken alambras was good if you only ate the veggies, the chicken was bland and lifeless. We were severely disappointed and don't intend to return. read more

I love going to both the sit down restaurant and the taqueria. This particular location provides ample seating and a more traditional Mexican restaurant ambiance. The staff greet you at the door, seat you, and take your order. They are very hospitable and always in a good mood. I have been here many times and the food is always consistent and accurate. The chips and salsa are always fresh as well since they heat up the chips for you. The portion size is great for the price. The chicken enchiladas with the white sauce was excellent. Service was good as well. They also sell tamales from a freezer near the cash register. Price was reasonable. We finally went and it did not disappoint. We started with queso and it was so good! We flew through our chips and needed to get more pretty quickly. I also really enjoyed the variety of salsa that was on the table. The spiciest was the perfect amount of heat for me. We also ordered the tamales and the Santa Fe tacos. The tamales came with beans and rice which was awesome. And they were huge! I had plenty of leftovers for lunch the following day. We both ordered margs which were massive. The Molcajete is a culinary experience and our current favorite. Check out the daily special, which is often newly crafted. The house Margaritas can't be missed, you'll never stop at just one; and the extensive bar offers other drinks as well. The staff puts in hard work and dedication in serving and most have been there for years. This speaks volumes for the owners and it shows in everything they produce. Definitely not a hole-in-the wall, there is ample seating, and they can accommodate larger groups, but plan ahead, as this place is well known and loved so the dinner rush is often times hoppin'!
