The owner met me at the door and he was very friendly and kind. The interior was very clean and festive. I was immediately presented with a basket of chips and fresh salsa. It was super mild but good. I ordered the queso dip, which had some lumps in it and was a littler underwhelming. I had the combo they let diners create and chose a beef taco and a cheese enchilada. The beef taco was extraordinary! The cheese enchilada was not. The beans were very good and the rice was just okay. I wish them all the best, but probably won't return. read more

Always pass by this place going down 71 and decided to stop in. Surprisingly, there weren't many people when we went but we had a great experience. It was empty at 1PM on a Thursday, red flag number 1. The only people that showed up the entire time were a couple that had probably been coming here for the last 20 years, which were abundant in the reviews, that was red flag #2. Chips tasted like they were made a day ago. Salsa was pretty bland. The chili verde pork burrito was odd. There was another review that said the pork had the texture and taste (and smell) of canned meat and this was dead on. The verde sauce had next to no flavor. Nice people working here and fast service but the food is subpar, I found out that my soda was $4 and the final nail in the coffin was a 4% surcharge for paying with a credit card. Delightful place that tries hard. Benjamin and staff are ON IT. Expect super fast service and prompt food from the kitchen. Huge seating area with lots of booths but also plenty of room to accommodate bigger groups. The flautas platter was a little lean with just three flautas (I mean a similarly priced double burrito platter would have a ton more food) but they were tasty. Carne asada platter had an orange colored seasoning on it, we had hoped for a flavor closer to street tacos carne asada, but it wasn't bad. Lots of onions. Just 3 flour tortillas. Chips (the thicker crunchier kind) were bottomless and served with a non-spicy red salsa. Margaritas on the rocks were outstanding! 3 to 6 each day they are just $3.99 so that's a big win. read more

My first time there was yesterday. Meals come with a great tasting salsa with lots of cilantro and garlic. It looks like after it's cooked it has finely chopped fresh tomato added. Homemade chips too. The carne asada was a thinly sliced steak with onions and mushrooms and is served with pico, sour cream, guacamole and your choice of flour or corn tortillas. It also comes with a good size portion of beans and rice. My wife had a cheese quesadilla that came with cheese cooked in but also soft white cheese drizzled over the top and was a big quesadilla with the other half of the plate covered with fries. Great service and very few customers due to restrictions with Covid. Staff wore masks and it was great and I highly encourage you to go to this great place! read more

They ordered the same thing, and my order came out very wrong. Then my correct order came out super fast. Then I could hear him and his wife arguing about it and he probably thought I didn't understand spanish. My rice didn't seem fresh even though we came at 11:45, and my tacos were not very warm either. I am glad they enjoyed their food though. Also... $10 for 2 soft drinks?? My "numero tres" lunch burrito was ready in about five minutes, and was packed with plenty of delicious, moist, seasoned, shredded, white chicken meat. I called in my order and got there 25 minutes after calling it in thinking that it would be ready. I arrive and say what I ordered, the man tells me the he didnt think I was coming and it's not ready. I was very confused by that. my order finally comes out I remind him no cheese and no sour cream on the burrito, only on the side. he assures me yes it's not on there since I put no on the ticket. he went the go get the side. I asked him will my order be ready next time because I drove 20 minutes from the city. he said I was asking too many questions and people who do that usually dont pick up the food. I asked 1 question which what kind of beans come on the burrito. and said sour cream and cheese on the side. I get all the way back home and my burrito is drenched in cheese. which is why i explained to him why i get it on the side. he didnt care and kept saying the kitchen guy is busy. I explained why is why I called my order in. he then said you asking too many questions were busy. he said next time he will get it right. I'm hungry now and the service was bad.
