There are no words that can really describe my love of TexMex. I find that I crave it pretty regularly. While visiting I was told to stop here and I'm glad that I made it my first stop of my trip. This place is kind of the definition of no frills. The plates are gigantic. It makes tasting menus look dumb. You may be thinking to yourself, "I'm from the city and a taco is $5." This ain't the place. $10 gets you a honking plate of food. Everything pretty much comes with rice and beans. Everything can and should be covered in cheese. There are bountiful salsa and chips to be had. I got enchiladas and a chile relleno dinner. I did not need this much food but it costs me about $20, and I was full through the next day. Come here if you're in Paris. Tip your servers.

Less than impressed. It was super full on a Sunday (must be the only place open or among the very few) and the hostess had nothing to say and just handed us menus. She said nothing on the way out too. No one came by to ask us how our meals were. The carne asada was pretty much the same as the carne Jose except smothered in onions. Everything just lacked flavor or seasoning of any kind.

Authentic TexMex Big fun. Generously served. Economic fare. It's better than El Phoenix by far. The fact that you can get South Mexico, Gulf Mexico, and Mexico city, styles and flavored food on one menu... authenticity. Don't be a snob, and don't expect to make reservations for 15 but it is comfortable and cheeky inside. Celebrate the huge win with them.

This place probably deserves a 5 star review for Mexican food in a small town, but since we're from Houston, I'm giving them a solid 4. Chips and salsa was good and both of our meals were good. The beans and rice were better than what we get at some of our favorite places in Houston. If you're pass through Paris, this is a good place to stop. read more

The complimentary chips and salsa are so good here! We also got the combo supreme nachos and both my husband and I were very pleased! All of it was amazing! The service was awesome and our food came very very quickly even on a Friday night! We will definitely come back! read more

The seriously good chips and salsa is the basis for this native Texan's review of any Tex-Mex place and they are good here. The sour cream sauce is great but the taco meat was greasy. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is good. read more

Classic Tex-Mex served by friendly people. They have the usual enchiladas, tacos, and fajitas, all of which are excellent. My favorite, though, is the Guiso Borracho. It's a mix of chopped beef fajita, onions, jalapeños, and salsa served with flour tortillas. Rice and beans are the sides as is customary with Tex-Mex. It's an awesome meal if you like spicy food. The owners are great folks who work hard to make sure you are taken care of properly. I can't recommend this little restaurant high enough, it's that good. Give them a chance, you'll be glad you did. read more

Ground beef chile relleno with ranchero sauce was fantastic. Beef was nicely seasoned. Crust was light and fluffy. Sauce was a perfect compliment. When I return, I know what I'll be eating. read more

Two words: Chile Relleno. This place has the best in town. Even though it was crowded when we visited we were seated promptly and warm tasty crispy chips and salsa brought almost immediately. The server was very friendly and helpful. Our food arrived quickly and was hot and delicious. Prices are absolutely reasonable. Our party of 3 got out under $40 and that includes 3 entrees, 3 teas, and generous tip. Highly recommend. read more

We stopped here for dinner based on the reviews. We were disgusted after watching the server's unsanitary practices. The employee scooped chips out of a bin with her bare hand, and served them to the table adjacent to us. This may be a local favorite, but I would not recommend if you prefer sanitary conditions. read more

Restaurant almost empty and couldn't get service. Had to ask for drink refills. Tortillas and chips not homemade. Grilled onions still had skins on them. Disappointed with chicken fajitas. Not hot. Pico de Gallo extra and not included. There at 430pm. Disappointed all over. read more

I was visiting from South Texas and stumbled upon this gem, and wow- incredible! The queso was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, easily one of the best I've had. The salsa had just the right amount of heat, fresh and vibrant with every bite. But the real showstopper? The El Molcajete. It came out sizzling, loaded with perfectly grilled meats and bold, authentic flavors that reminded me of home.
