The other one was the red velvet, which while better, was still not worth eating. The cake texture was better, but the flavor was very bland. The frosting was dense and unappealing, very basic. This was my second visit through Litiz, PA and was glad to have had time to stop in. Wilbur factory, located across the street is no longer in operation , since 2016. The factory was turned into a hotel with restaurants in 2019. The hotel esthetics were kept from the factory, with a few other artifacts, the walk across the street is highly recommended. Wilbur , chocolate shop simply gourmet since 1884. Their signature , is their Wilbur buds, which when I first tried them thought were for baking. Wow, was I wrong, the helpful clerk told me they were for eating. Wilbur buds reminded me of Hershey kisses, but 100 percent better, based on ones palet. Inviting atmosphere, where your able to see chocolate production, taste test, shop and watch a video on the coco history of Wilbur. A must visit.

Charlie, our tour guide made the history of pretzel & Sturgis family interactive, fun well learning history of oldest pretzel bakery. For me, visiting there production factory of other well known pretzels, felt like a piece of puzzle; into pretzel history. The tour itself $6, 1/2 hour long, 150 year old bakery, where the soft pretzel are still made.
