So delicious. Bagels and donuts were a 100/10. Must try it out! Don't let the outside fool you... there's magic going on in the inside.

Let me begin by saying that I am not a bagel aficionado by any means, but I know what I like and what I don't like. Sorry, but I don't like these bagels. I know many people who love the bagels, and god bless them. I've been at Lancaster RBB on two occasions. First time I had a toasted bagel. The exterior was so hard and crisp, it was like biting a sheet of glass. My friends thought that was great, but I thought my mouth was going to be shredded. Not pleasant for me. Second time, I tried a bagel egg sandwich with a not toasted bagel. The exterior was an improvement, no sheet of glass feeling. The interior was super chewy. When biting through the bagel, I thought I was going to pull my teeth out. By the time the bagel was finished, my jaw felt like it just endured a boxing match. Again, my friend said this was amazing and how a bagel should be. Me, not so much. Nothing against RBB, but I think I'm going to pass. read more

The bagels looked super fresh and smelled great but there were only a few varieties which disappointed me so I didn't get. There's no place to sit. You need to stand and eat. The donuts are made to order. I got the cookies and cream one and honestly it was just ok. We didn't finish it. read more

I recently went to the Lititz Location. Not bad...tons of space in this location compared to lancaster which is a major positive. The crowd wasn't as bad here. Lancaster location wait times are brutal compared to Lititz! They were serving dollar donuts made to order! These were very good! They serve them in powdered, strawberry, cinnamon sugar and cookies and cream! My favorite was the cookies and cream. The breakfast sandwich was good! They had a special bagel with scrapped and a hashbrown on it. I tried switching out the scrapped for bacon and instead got charged extra for bacon, extra for cream cheese, and extra for a hash brown instead of swapping out the meats on the dutchy sandwich. For two breakfast sandwiches, the cost was 27 dollars. This did not include any drinks or anything. I dont think the quality of the breakfast sandwich matches the price. To break it down the bacon egg and cheese was 11, the other sandwich came out to 16 dollars... Tons of potential here! I understand the prices of everything is going up, but compared to some other breakfast sandwich places in the area, this one is trending on the higher side. read more

Cute takeout space. Busy on a Saturday late morning. Takeout orders piling up on counter. Friendly service. I put in an online order for 11:15 but showed up early. Glad to see my order of donuts and bagels were not sitting waiting for me. I had to let them know I was early and they worked on my order after about 5 minutes and it was ready in 10. Donuts super fresh and warm. So good. $1 donuts on 2nd and 4th Sat but I didn't get the deal online. Bagels were not soft or super fresh but toast up fine after being sliced and frozen. I could not eat one out of the bag, sadly. Everything bagels loaded with toppings. Also out of the jalapeño cheddar (told it was tomorrow's special but I could order online. Bummer). All in all, I would go here for the donuts but not a fresh bagel based on my sole experience. read more

You can tell this place *can* be really good... but our experience was just not good at all. Went on a Sunday morning at about 9:45am, and the service was bad. Apparently they were short staffed, but regardless the worker up front had zero customer service skills. Kitchen was weirdly quiet. Vibe was just really bad. After a 30 minute wait for 2 sandwiches, we finally ate. Bagels weren't fresh, but you can tell there's great potential when they are fresh. I got the John Taylor - Pork roll, Egg, cheesy onions. Pretty expensive. Overall I'd go elsewhere in Lancaster where there are so many other cafes/breakfast places with better service, better prices, and a better environment. read more

So everyone is wondering "Does Lancaster have decent bagels yet?" The answer (now) is YES The bagels are made with sour dough so fresh bagels taste like a standard bagel, the next day that bagel tastes like sour dough bread. A NY bagel has a profound crunch when you bite through it, these are crispy but don't have that crunch (I hope that makes sense) Whether an everything bagel, sesame or poppy they are covered top to bottom in the seeds of your choice, they have a wonderful fluffy (not too doughy) interior (see close up pictures) read more

3.5 Stars The good; the not so good and why I went to Philly Pretzel Factory, afterwards. I appreciated the spaciousness of RBB's second store, with the sun streaming in, ample tables, booths, a large, readable menu, above the ordering counter. Loved the unique, ecletic menu of bagel sandwiches. Noticed it was said, chicken salad was sold out. For a new establishment, I felt - having an item already unavailable, disheartening. My Bolo sandwich was yummy, as the bologna was perfectly fried and savory, though the egg, was over medium, instead of hard fried. The pretzel bagel, had no resemblance of anything pretzel-like and that's why I went to Philly Pretzel Factory, afterwards; I was craving a pretzel. At PPF, I was welcomed, enthusiastically. Back to Round Breads Bakery: The counter service was lackluster, the gal slicing bagels and the young man, cooking the donuts, appeared robotic and set in doing their job. It's a new location, with new clientele - would have been nice to have been greeted in a friendlier manner. Thank you for slicing my bagels, it would have been nice, if freezer bags were offered. The beverage choices in the glass case, were minimal (chocolate milk, oj, water & seltzer). At around noonish, several bagel flavors, were depleted. A cookies & cream donut, was not what I had imagined. It was a donut with crushed oreos? on the outside. You may want to not name your donuts, rather have the donut toppings listed. read more

I'll never go here again. Listen up! First of all, I went in to get a bagel w/ cream cheese and a coffee for me and my wife on Sat @ 8:30 am on 11/15/25 So, I ordered 2 coffee w/ 2 bagels with cream cheese from the front register clerk (dont know name), but (who had nose rings and piercings all on her face, again, I don't know her name.) And although I have nothing against piercings, I have no other way to identify her. She seemed very unconcerned about me standing there waiting to place my order as she was trying to train somebody at the front desk and it took her about five minutes to acknowledge me. So I ordered and stood there for about 10 minutes, whereas I would like to have gotten my coffee cups and poured my coffee. The coffee wasn't worth drinking tasted like Maxwell House or Folgers wasn't even worth drinking. Also, I ordered the bagel toasted and when it got handed to me it wasn't really toasted and finally I got my coffee cups and went to the cheap lil coffee dispenser and it was OUT of coffee ...... really??? so I had to get her attention again and say excuse me but there's no coffee and she was like surprised oh...... really.... ??? So I finally got my coffee and then guess what, there was NO creamer... WTF. The the clerk acted like she had no idea what was going on. The coffee was out. The creamer was out, I finally got my bagel and It wasn't even toasted, so it was chewy and it took a 10-15!mins to get. Again, wtf I really didn't feel like she cared too much. I thought I deserved a little more attention since a bagel was $3.50 /ea and the coffee was $2.50/ea or $12 for 2 bagels and 2 coffees that I should at least expect something halfway decent. That is not what I got and I certainly won't be going back and wouldn't Recommend you go here unless you want this kind of service. Sorry, but that's the truth and my experience. read more

Looks like they have a new name - Round Breads Bakery - but everything else is just the same. Same awesome bagels, same staff, etc. got two excellent bagel sandwiches and a dozen to go. The big plus compared to last time was I didn't have to wait for them to make the dozen. They pulled them fresh from the rack and I was out the door! I highly recommend them... they were making bagels as they were selling them. They couldn't be any fresher! Soooo good! read more

We got the Breakfast BLT on an everything bagel. All the ingredients tasted really fresh. The bacon was especially good and not overcooked. The bagel had the right consistency - not too doughy like many of its Dutch country counterparts. Only improvement I'd make is to toast the bagels more for the sandwiches. We'd asked for ours toasted, but it wasn't noticeable. I hope these folks can buck the trend of bagel shops not surviving in Lancaster. They certainly have a good shot, considering the line out the door on a Saturday morning. Overall a great experience with very friendly staff and a filling meal to start the day. I especially appreciated them telling us we'd be waiting about 20 minutes for our order, even though it didn't take that long. read more

Obnoxious NYC transplant here who enjoyed NYC bagels for almost 30 years- just want say that Roundbreads has spectacular bagels. I spent the last five years here in Lancaster chasing the feeling, and found Roundbreads not too long ago. The bagels are not exactly NYC bagels but not in a way that makes them less than. They're in their own category because they seem to be made with sourdough which is so delightful and a nice surprise when you're eating them. The different spreads, particularly the strawberry cream cheese is refreshing and super yummy. The staff are so nice and warm when taking my order. Their coffee is not for me. I'd go elsewhere for that sadly, however Roundbreads is still in my eyes a 10/10. Not everyone is trying to be a NYC bagel, some are just carving out their own space while making something special. read more

Love this place. I had ordered multiple times from their Lancaster Bagel Club before they had this brick and mortar location. They offer fantastic breakfast sandwiches and I recommend getting a fried egg (versus scrambled). They bagels have the perfect toasted outside with a chewy middle! read more

We used to get their bagels delivered and loved them then but this is another step up. Superb bagels with the right balance of crunch on the outside and soft chewiness on the inside. Bagel sandwiches are tasty and they turn around orders quickly. High quality ingredients in the hands of great bakers make for a high quality food. The test of a great bagel is how well it holds up to a simple schmear of cream cheese. Plain. Warm. Sliced. Schmeared. Two Poodles knows how to make great bagels. Crispy and crusty in the outside. Chewy on the inside. Old school. I stopped after church on Sunday for my weekend treat. This is strictly a take and eat elsewhere spot. A small storefront with just enough room to grab your bagel and do the pas de deux to leave with people lined up to get in. If you can walk to the bagel shop -- great! Otherwise it's park in the street and hope you don't get a parking ticket for what you hope is a five minute visit. While the crowds and parking are an issue, the bagels are not. They're yummy. A little pricier than that other GRAND bagel place in town, but worth every penny for an occasional treat. read more

As a recent transplant, it is with great pleasure to find a true bagel shop in PA. For over a year I've searched for the genuine bagel to no avail. I had friends who visited always bring a dozen of the NY/NJ wonderfully special bagels.. Then I found this place on Prince Street. Never again will I waste my time and money on the supermarket variety that have no comparison to the real thing. Now my search continues for the true authentic Italian and Jewish deli's.
