The two donuts we got were ok. Didn't seem freshly made. Also the chocolate filling was sour!

Super cute place! Very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was SO friendly and we ordered immediately with no wait. Our donuts came out a minute later. They tasted really good. We got mochi donuts which are a little denser and not as fluffy and soft as regular donut, but still tasted great. Would definitely come back! read more

These people who say the donuts taste stale are just used to "American" donuts. These are the BOMB. Personally I stopped eating regular donuts after I ate these. The chewiness of the dough is perfect. They have just the right amount of sweetness. I still need to try the filled ones. Be open minded about the dough, it is not a raised donut, so don't expect that... and realize they are not stale!!! read more

Ordered a chocolate filled doughnut, Not what I was expecting. I guess it's an Asian style or something, the flavor was very weird. My 4 year old only took 2 bites and we threw away the rest of her rainbow doughnut. I will admit doughnut was fresh and hot, just blah flavor. read more

To add, the shelf-life of the donuts are great. When the donuts are fresh, they're amazing! However it's pretty disappointing to spend $18 on 1/2 dozen donuts that taste like they're at least a day old. I've always had good experiences at the Rodeo locations so when it came as a surprise they were no longer at rodeo x, I saw that there was a location nearby and decided to drive the extra bit to grab some. This was my first time at this location and sadly it was a lackluster visit. When we arrived they did not have the a/c on which when temps are 100+ and you're in the business of baking you should really keep it cool inside. Friendly customer service and wait was less than expected. Sadly I assume the wait was less because all they did was box up pre-made cold stale donuts from the back. Maybe it was a bad day and they had some BTS issues but I probably wont drive out of my way to come back. I will say though that even their stale donuts are better than Mochinut lol read more

Last week I bought a total of 10 donuts and asked to separate it into 2 boxes because I'm giving one to my cousin and lady said they couldn't and just gave me a small plain box as extra. I said okay that's fine.. I guess. The thing I didn't like was I paid for $2++/each donuts but they didn't get my order right. I ordered 7 mochi donuts , 1 caramel macchiato filled mochi donut, 2 Belgium choc filled malasada and 1 matcha filled mochi donut - i only got 1 out of 2 malasada donut and it didn't have any fillings on it. I already left the store when I saw it. It was unacceptable because there's only 1 person ahead of me and I waited patiently 20mins for my order. I understand that filled donuts may be made to order but at least make sure you're doing it right especially it wasn't busy at the time I was there. 2 stars just because I like dot and dough donuts but 1 star for customer service/satisfaction. read more

My daughter wanted some mochi donuts . We bought a dozen and tried different flavors. The milk and cream, homer chocolate and rainbow taro mochi donuts tasted stale and old. The white chocolate matcha were the only ones that were good texture. We have had mochi donuts many times, but this place missed the mark. Maybe it was because it was the end of the day. Okay my wife said this is a trendy new place. Well let me tell you for $3+ a donut I expected a lot more. Got a chocolate cereal Mochi donut. I did not even taste chocolate, all I tasted was mochi dough . Also as we sat there and ate, I heard some guy 3 times say $30 for a dozen of donuts. I was with him. My mother in law was not impressed nor was my wife. Even my 8 yrs old daughter felt is was not that great. And that girl knows her sweets. Then I found out it's a chain place. This review is solely based off of my experience on May 21, 2022. I've been to this location a few times and it has always been a pleasant one. Until today. I purchased 6 doughnuts and 2 Thai Ice Tea, my total was $35. An older gentleman gave me our drinks, and there was so much milk in the drink it tasted nothing like a Thai tea. He offered to remake the drinks and this time it has ABSOLUTELY no flavor, at almost $5 a drink this was unacceptable. Even so, I didn't say anything. I thought, I'll just add some sugar or whatever and be on my way. Later in the day, I took a bite of a Chocolate Belgium Mochi doughnut...and it was RAW in the middle. At this point, I can't lie, I was pretty upset. I went back to the location and explained to cashier named Sam who was very apologetic and offered me a refund. The older gentleman came out from the back and asked what was wrong. Sam told him the inside of the doughnuts were raw and he said, "OK replace it." I told him I didn't want a replacement, and honestly, who would? I was upset, I was on my break at work, and all in wanted was to enjoy a doughnut. I asked for a refund and mentioned the drinks that he remade were also no good and had no flavor. He then told me...."I replaced the first drink for you...that is enough! You keep coming back here! " I continued to explain to him that HE GAVE ME RAW DOUGHNUTS. He asked me where the drinks were and I said sitting in my office at work, completely full, because they aren't good. He said, "Bring them to me! I want to see them!" I told him I wasn't going to do that. He continued saying that he didn't want to do business with me anymore. He YANKED the box of doughnuts from the counter and went to the back. Sam repeatedly apologized and I told her she didn't need to. It wasn't her fault in the slightest. You can tell she was mortified. She gave me a full refund and I'm so thankful that she did. Because I paid $35 for RAW doughnuts and tasteless thai tea. The fact that this gentleman was upset AT ME and made me feel as if all this was my fault is atrocious. I'm all for supporting our local community businesses but I will NEVER EVER step foot in Dot and Dough AGAIN. Shame on you, for making a customer feel like they did something wrong when YOUR business was 100% at fault. It should of been a situation where, without hesitation, a refund and an apology are given. read more

Delicious flavors, especially in the mochi donuts. Unlike other donuts and mochinuts from other places where alI tasted is sugar, this place offers a great selection with rich flavors. I could really taste the strawberry and vanilla in the cream. I put some in the fridge and the next day they stayed soft and moist. I also ordered hazelnut coffee, perfect temperature and flavor that complimented my donuts. My family loves them. A great place for a little sweet tooth pick me up.
