It somehow manages to feel lively without being overwhelming--like a low-key community hub with boba. Drinks are consistently on point, and I really appreciate the ability to adjust sweetness and ice levels at the table. It's a small detail, but it makes a big difference when you're picky about your drink (as one should be). The food is actually pretty solid too--perfect for those days when cooking feels like a personal attack. Nothing overly fancy, but dependable and satisfying enough to round out your order. Love getting the popcorn chicken rice bento box! The portions are pretty big and it came with a small veggie side. The popcorn chicken was nice and crispy! Best place to go to for a tea and delicious popcorn chicken combo because it has really good sides and a large portion. It's very nice that you can control the level of sugar you want in the tea. Love this place so much! Always my go to if I'm craving boba. My daughter loves this place too so that's always a plus, especially since she's so picky. Service is always great when we go in, they get busy right around the time school gets out but they're always very professional and your drinks and food come out in a timely manner. They do have free WiFi there too so if you're wanting to get some studying in or reading this place is great to go to cause the atmosphere is great. OC native Taiwanese American here, and Chat Tea has my stamp of approval! Really happy with the quality and serving size of the food here for very reasonable prices. Spam & egg and Spicy Salmon onigiri were flavorful. Popcorn chicken seasoning tasted like the ones I grew up eating - had a good crunch to them and tender and juicy in the center. Staff members were friendly and helpful. I appreciate that it's a study-friendly space with solid WiFi. Don't think I saw many outlets though. Drinks run sweet - even at 0% sugar, my passion fruit + mango green tea w/ lychee jelly was sweeter than I would've liked, but I think that was on me for ordering what I did. First time visiting Eastvale location. I decided to order popcorn chicken rice instead of my usual Mabo tofu rice. I asked for mild spice and it was perfectly spiced. It took a bit longer than expected for the food to come out but the chicken pieces were crunchy and of good temperature so it made up for the wait time. I ordered a half sweet lychee green tea but it was still too sweet for me. Wondering if I have to go down to 25% sugar next time The popcorn chicken rice comes with an egg, tofu, and some greens. There's some ground pork on top of the rice as well! This location is a bit smaller than the Ontario location and less cozy vibes. I think I prefer the Ontario location for studying or getting work done. I'd go to Eastvale location to chat with friends. read more

It has ample amount of parking since it shares a private parking lot with several other businesses. It has good amount of indoor seating. Came here over the weekend, there wasn't that long of a line. Place was kept clean and the person helping us out was friendly and patient as it was my first time. Lot of options to choose from for boba/tea, only one size available for iced drinks. I used to live just five minutes from Chat Tea, but even after moving to Jurupa Valley, I still make the drive several times a month because it's always worth it. The drinks are consistently amazing, especially the slushes and smoothies, which are always blended perfectly. The food is delicious too; the spicy salmon rice balls are easily one of my favorites. The decor is really cute and visually pleasing, and the seating makes it a relaxing spot to dine in. Was visiting family in the area and wanted a snack & drink before heading home, and my sister found Chat Tea on Yelp. We ordered on the kiosk, which was very user friendly, and waited a few minutes before our order was ready. If you opt to pay cash, you can order with a live person. My sister and I both got slushes - sweetness level can be adjusted, and add ons such as boba are offered as well for an additional fee. I had the passion fruit slush 75% sweet, and it was refreshing. My sister got the tofu fries, and I chose the Taiwanese sausage. Paid about $20 before tip. Both snacks were good, but I wish I had gotten the entree instead, which included rice and egg. Will be back to try the rice balls and other drinks. read more

I like getting the lavender milk tea here at Chat Tea. I haven't stopped by in a while since I've been making my own lavender tea at home, but decided to get it today since I was in the area. I ordered it on their kiosk which was simple to use. I received my tea within 10 minutes and the guy who handed me the drink was very friendly. 2 weeks ago, my husband and I were on set up duty for our God daughter's bday party. It was a hot summer day, and water just wasn't quenching our thirst. We snuck out for a bit and grabbed some boba. We aren't too familiar with the area, but I'm glad to know there was a boba place near the house. The cafe is cute and the service was great. I wish I had taken more pictures, but we were so hot and in a hurry that we drank our drinks fast. I had the oolong tea with honeydew, and my husband had peach black tea. Strong boba + snack shop. We've been here several times in the past year, and we love the consistent service and quality of food/drinks. Located in the same center as Albertons, it's near the dry cleaners, and directly across from the Chase bank. We've had all of the foods at this point, including onigiri, rice bowls, curry, popcorn chicken, fried tofu, etc. If you're hungry and need a quick snack, they're great for that. Solid Taiwanese snacks and, again, we never had any issues with the food. You may not get completely full (depending on what and how much you order), but any hunger should be satisfied. We've had majority of their drinks by now (e.g., hot, cold, slushy, milk tea, flavored iced tea, non-caffeinated, etc.). They're able to accommodate most drink modifications (e.g., less ice, substitute whole milk with almond milk, add toppings). All of them are good, though I wouldn't say they're my favorite. Like, it hits the spot in quenching your thirst, but I don't think they're the best boba drink-maker or best slushy maker out there. They're good, but not the best. Staff has always been great. We've also ordered from the kiosk, but there tends to be several issues with it (we've had to order in-person versus using the kiosk several times). But staff is able to help out, and work with us in getting our orders in. They also have a rewards program, though they're not always consistent in asking for your stamp card; just remember to bring yours. Plentiful parking spaces, solid drinks/snacks. We've been coming more often for their snacks. The fried tofu fries are a household favorite for us. I love that they have quite a few food options, but wish they had even more. The drinks are also decently good. This latest time we ordered the yogurt green tea with boba (75% sweet) and the strawberry banana smoothie (75% sweet). Both were on point. The service is consistently good and I like the decor here. One thing to work on is the amount of time it takes to make the food. Today I think it took over 25 minutes? Maybe more. We went to go buy food on the other side of the plaza (walking really slowly because we had 2 toddlers), made a stop to buy girl scout cookies, came back, and the food still wasn't ready. We had to wait another 5-10 min. We weren't in a hurry but if we were it would have been highly inconvenient. read more

Solid spot a tad closer to home than my go-to spot Ten Ren also in Eastvale. They have a solid Passion Fruit Tea that the wifey loves - made her switch from her go to Mango Tea. Solid spot all round. My go to Almond Milk tea is lacking here though. read more

We tried this place and brought it to go. We got the spicy popcorn chicken, pork katsu rice, taiwanese sausage rice and a thai tea. The popcorn chicken has a good portion, we got the spicy one and it was good, and crispy! The pork katsu rice came with a curry sauce on the side and it was delicious. Taiwanese sausage rice's portion was a bit small and the sausage was a bit dry. No complaint for the thai tea. Overall a pretty good experience. I knew this shop existed in eastvale, but I actually went first to their new location in Ontario recently and fell in love from that first visit! The drinks were great and rice balls hit the spot, so I had to check out eastvale's location since it is a smidge closer to me and now I know what they have. I ordered the mango slush with lychee jelly for my mom. I actually asked first if the iced teas could be made with a water base instead of tea base since she can't have caffeine, but the girl up front said that it can only be a tea base, so that's why I went with a slush instead. Not super ideal since my drive home was actually 40 minutes due to traffic. The sun was beating down on my car so the whole thing is melted but I guess it's a "water base" now haha. I ordered a mango passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly and light ice for myself. Both sizes regular. The flavor was great and I wouldn't change a thing. I like my fruit teas to taste the same wherever I go! I also ordered 4 rice balls: spicy salmon, teriyaki chicken, spam & eggs, and fried shrimp. All of them tasted great and there was soo much rice that it was pouring out of my bites which I didn't mind haha the more rice the better! I appreciate that there is still distancing and indoor seating is not available. It's mostly blocked off inside so you just order and wait and leave. There is some seating outside but not much. The workers were really nice especially this one enthusiastic guy, and all drinks/orders looked like they were coming out in a timely manner, including mine. read more
