If you're craving for malasadas then this is the place to be. I always get the matcha-filled malasada because it's so good BUT my recent order was a bit disappointing because it was overcooked, hard and the matcha filling didn't taste as good as before. Came here on a weekday to try this place with my adult niece. We tried three different types of doughnuts. The doughnuts were barely passing. Perhaps we're just not into these new craft type doughnuts but we did not enjoy them. The flavors were simply okay but definitely not what we expected. We tried them. We rather pay for expensive doughnuts elsewhere or even go to the YumYum a ways down the street. The service was good. It's a small place looks like it might be family owned. I ordered three drinks and the staff asked if I wanted boba for these two, I said no and this is what I got, TWO CUPS OF ICE, FULL OF ICE. Only take two sips and the drink is gone. And yet the "owner" that replied to the other post said they were still training their staffs. Wow ONE YEAR and your staff is still giving customers full cups of ice? Drinks are not cheap by the way. The service and the staff are always great. I enjoy their mochi donuts. My issue today was I got coffee and the paper cups they use are terrible. My cup I don't know if it was because the coffee was too hot or what but my cup literally split in half and my cup holder on my way home filled up coffee. I got maybe two sips of my coffee before it all spilled out. Suggest asking for two cups maybe of for them to use better paper cups so people don't burn themselves. read more

Last night I was craving a donut and when I went in they ran out of the donut I wanted so I got the matcha one because I really wanted to eat a donut! I got home and took a bite and was disgusted, the donut was old and tasted like dirt. I thought I would go in the morning and let them know my experience and they would be kind enough to replace the donut (which I took with me) but instead their response was "sorry you came yesterday we can't do anything" I was extremely disappointed because I loved going to this location and expected better service when it wasn't my fault they gave me a GROSS and OLD donut. My kiddos wanted to try the mochi donuts today before school, so we arrived at 7am when they opened. We were the only ones waiting. The staff was friendly but not prepared to open. The chairs were still up, the doors weren't unlocked, and the open sign was not on. Once they let us in, they explained that they only had a few donut choices.
