Filet Mignon Sandwich and Alitas/ Chicken Wings
    Mark L.

My first time at this location. I've been going to Tito's market since the 1980s. Having one closer to me in the city of Monrovia is a good thing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was plenty of seating for me and my son as we split a sandwich and some chicken wings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As always, the flavors were amazing, although it did lack a little meat for an almost $20 sandwich, but I'll still come back here time and time again. Their chicken wings are off the charts good and the service was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The air-conditioning kicked ass on this hot day and the chairs were comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will be back again hopefully next time for my almost $20 sandwiches they give me a little bit more.

Finally had a chance to try one of their sandwiches and it was so divine. I recommend the rib-eye!!

This was like a Harold and Kumar moment, except white castle isnt that good. I drove all the way down Colorado, multiple stop because there are several parades that just ended. Today's Friday so the whole Myrtle street is blocked off, I parked in the public parking and walked like 2 blocks. I was expecting a sign but apparently they are about to go through some renovations so it's not visible. I walked past it, then into the crawfish plaza thinking it was it hidden. Pulled up the Google maps, pinpointing me to this terrible lit hole in the wall type store front. I walked over and there it was this tiny little logo that said "Tito's" TLDR : farmers market on Friday, not much parking. Got the Lomo, and Adobo. Amazing hot sandwiches truly a hidden gem in Monrovia

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a smaller sit down restaurant and family-owned.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The cashier was friendly and some nice recommendations for the albondigas sandwich and empanadas. The drink case has imported drinks and sodas and really represents the popularity from the Titos in El Monte. I would like to try Titos in El Monte to compare the taste of empanadas with a nice green olive inside!

    Milanesa sandwich and empanadas

This is the soft opening location over in the middle of Monrovia. The OG location is in El Monte. Never been to that one, but I've heard good things about it, especially their sandwiches. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Parking is street. Inside is pretty small, but there are some booths and tables inside and a few outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is all sandwiches (hot and cold) and empanadas. Ordered the following: - Milanesa Sandwich - 6.5/10: this was a pretty good sandwich. Ordered the small version, which is pretty big if you ask me. The breaded steak was a little chewier than I had hoped for, but it had some nice flavor. Had a tad bit of heat with their pepper spread and some chimichurri sauce. - Empanadas - beef and chicken - 7.5/10: the ground beef was superb. Loved it. The chicken was a little dry though. The pastry was kind of dense and I was hoping for something a little more flakey and light. Overall, this is not a bad spot for empanadas, and the sandwich menu is varied enough to warrant another visit if I'm in the area.

Very simple, quick and delicious. The large Milanesa (breaded steak) $11.99 sandwich used really good meat and was satisfying to eat. Empanadas ($2.99 ea) has not too thick breading. Has a bite to it without being doughy. The chicken (pulled/chopped) and beef (minced/chopped) had a sweet flavor with an olive inside. New to me and intriguing taste! I think it'd go amazing with some savory and/or spicy sauce. The cheese one is simple and basically a whole piece of queso inside. They offer canned sodas/bottled drinks for purchase. (Not sure if there's tap water.) [[HIGHLIGHT]]AC was not on when I went so it can get warm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

First time trying Milanesa and it was amazing. The jalapeño spread is a must as it is a bit dry. The cheese empanadas is great but the beef is sweet. I would pass on the empanadas. I would definitely come back to try the other sandwiches. Great service as well.

Nostalgia picture of the original Titos cornerstore in El Monte.

Yelp review #13 of 2025 I dropped in around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 14th. I haven't had Titos since around 2018. I spoke with the cashier, who's worked at the El Monte location for a few years. The place has a really cool vibe. It is still run by Brandon, who is the third generation of this family-owned business. I still remember the original corner store in El Monte, and this is a long time coming at least a good 40 to 50 years. Very glad that this location opened, and for them having a presence here in Monrovia. Makes it easier for me to get my nostalgia submarine sandwich when I drive in from Vegas. The interior is a little bit rough, however, they're pending new construction and permits yet operating as a soft opening so they can make that happen. Getting the door open was a bit tough, but still able to get in. One of the pro about this location is that it's open till 8 PM compared to 5:30 PM at the original location.

I was happy to see that Tito's is expanding their horizons. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place has the feel that they literally opened last week...it could use a better vibe but clearly they live and die on their food alone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I highly recommend the Rib Eye over the Milanese steak...way too dry. I like their reasonable prices and good customer service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Spruce the place up a bit and write your prices on the menu and you'll be straight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll be back tho

Tito's in Monrovia, just like the original in El Monte but less crowded. Not a market, but focused on their empanadas and sandwiches. Not a large place , but there are a few tables inside for indoor service. We did to go and the ordering is straightforward - look at the menu, order at the counter, and wait for the order to be completed. We had their beef, chicken, and cheese empanadas and they were delicious- just like the originals in El Monte. We also got a couple of their sandwiches (hit and cold) and a pound of their spicy chicken wings. Everything was very good. Didn't have a chance to take pics since we ate in the car. Lucky for me the distance between the El Monte and Monrovia location isn't too much of a difference. I'll go here since it's not as crowded... for now.

    Emily L.

Not quite sure I understand the hype but maybe their sandwiches are better. Although, looking around, it only looked ok. Maybe it is popular simply for their prices. We got the chicken empanada, beef empanada, and waffle fries. The fries were awful, soggy and only warm. The empanadas were good but nothing to rave about - maybe it's me. I will acknowledge the chicken though was one of the juicier ones I've had in my life. Service was nice, the environment was ok but I think they are going to renovate.

AMAZING!! So Delicious!! We have ordered from Tito's twice now and it's been delicious and so worth it!! Highly recommend!! I'm so glad that they are finally in my neighborhood!! Tonight's sandwich was the Fajita Pollo and it was super good! It was still warm when it arrived at my door and I ate it right away! The empanadas are epic as well!! 10 out of 10!! Welcome to Monrovia!!!

    Beef Empanada de Res
    Tori S.

This is my second time coming to this location. The first time I got the empanada de res to try and bring home. I LOVED them! They are crispy on the outside and filled with meat on the inside! The beef tastes a little sweet and just soo good! This time I wanted to try a sandwich so I got the large milanesa de res to share. We both loved it! Will definitely be back to try other sandwiches and get more empanadas!

Naturally sweet bananas. Didn't taste artificial at all. The beef empanadas were definitely the most popular. I still prefer the flaky Asian meat pies but this is still good. If you're a big eater and want the additional potatoes and pancakes, I recommend paying a few dollars more and ordering the Breakfast platter. The Vanilla Latte came in a paper cup (a bit bummed out by not being able to take a more IG worthy picture of that), but it actually tasted really good! Same with the sausage links - it was probably one of the best tasting ones I've had for breakfast in a while. Aside from their wide selection of pastries and food options, their customer service was phenomenal. Every customer that walked through the door was greeted upon arrival and thanked on their way out.
