I had a doctors appointment I needed to get to about an hour away and I needed to drive. It was a cold morning out, and I needed caffeine. I was about to go through Mcdonald's but remembered this location. I drove by and found that yes it only has coffee but not even the full menu of coffee available at the main location. I was hoping for some of their harvest coffees they didn't have but i settled for Blanc Dulce. Not that i don't love that coffee... just the coffee they make during harvest and holidays are special. Anyway i got some great coffee to go!

I tried them out early this year and did not have a good experience but i let it go. I do try to give local places a second try as anyone/any business can have a bad day. Unfortunately, i had an even worse experience recently. Earlier this week, i ordered from Doordash. I noticed the food was taking longer than the usual order but let it go. Quite a while later, my Doordash delivery driver Shane knocked on the door to give me food. Normally they just leave it at the door but he warned the food may be cold and talked about his experience. Now i want to preface this by saying Shane has delivered quite a large number of Doordash orders to my house. Its a small town so not surprising you see the same names again and again. He said that they made him wait for his order and took care of all the other drive thru customers that came after him first. They did this simply because they are measured on those customers and not Doordash. Not sure where he got this info, but i saw red when I heard this. When they came and gave the food, they realized they missed on on the burgers ordered. So he had to wait for them to make it and bring it out... only to then realize they also forgot to get my iced vanilla latte. I tried the food... would you be surprised it was cold? Food was inedible... as per mom her chili was watery and cold. Her baked potato was awful. I could go on. The worst was the iced coffee. It tasted like someone rushed and grabbed some old coffee they had brewed and then put ice in it. Its a shame really because i do like the brands baconator and spicy nuggets.

The charcuterie board was really delicious and paired well with the gorgeous looking elderflower gin and tonic. Lots of great meats and cheese and the nuts went a long way to satiate while I waited for my stellar salad. Stellar shrimp chopped salad with lots of nuts and craisens with such a yummy dressing. The delicious food I wrote about in my prior post years ago is still mote than valid. Your taste buds will have a great experience eating at Cilantros! I have come several times here with family, friends or business associates and I have always come out happy and full. My favorite dish is still the Pollo La Isla. It is composed of fillets of chicken breast with bacon, Chorizo and cheese dip on the top. Served with Mexican rice and guacamole salad and tortillas. Tell me that doesn't sound good!?!? Well, it tastes better than it sounds! Its addicting! Service is of course quick and efficient, even when it gets full or you cone with a large party. I have come here several times during lunch on a workday and I am back to my desk by the hour. The place, though, is a big improvement over the old.
