We had the taco pizza and it is very good. We will be ordering again soon. Not a fan of the hot sauce so we used our own.

While in town, recently, my family decided to try this place. We ordered pizza, wings, riblets, and a Stromboli. It took about 45 minutes for the order to be done, and we had to pick it up, because they lack the employees to offer delivery. That part was annoying, but we were able to overlook it. Our total bill came to about $50, and for the amount of food, I feel the pricing is fair. The establishment is in dire need of an update, and perhaps a few more minutes spent on cleanliness, but, it wasn't bad enough to not want to eat there. It just stood out, as I'm seeing a lot of places in Van Wert allowing themselves to become dated and messy. Once home, we checked our order. Everything, right down to the garlic butter we requested, was there. The food was made very well, too. The Stromboli had amazing flavor, and not an overwhelming amount of grease. The riblets were cooked beautifully, and were quite tender. The kids devoured the cheese pizza, and the wings made for a great football snack the following day. All in all, this was a pleasant experience. I'd recommend to anyone passing through. read more

Sorta reminded me of Pizza Hut but yet better than Pizza Hut! Had the buffet with the family and thoughts the options were good. I tried the taco pizza, Alfredo pizza, and the Hawaiian. The cinnamon dough dessert was very good. Nice little salad bar too. They also have a menu option and the calzones looked huge. Fun decor for a pizza shop. In town traveling. Decided to stop here, a lot of great reviews. Pizza was very average, salad bar was the same way. It was a decent atmosphere. Also, my waitress was about 9 months pregnant. I saw a review that said they take forever to put new pizzas out. I could see it. Overall if you have kids, this would be a fine place to go and you don't mind eating some below average pizza. I was surprised on how good the pizza tasted. When we pulled up the outside looked bad and it didn't get better when we walked in, however when the food arrived I was blown away. The pizza was great. My friend had the hoss Stromboli and it as advertised large and full of flavor. The thing that didn't taste good was the iced tea. It had an old taste to it. read more

Being from out of town we rely on YELP to get us to a GREAT restaurant. YELP was NOT wrong on this one. We went for the buffet and it ended up being a great choice. The salad bar was excellent and they brought out so many pizzas it would make your head swim. Every pizza I tried was great. The only thing I would suggest is to label the ingredients of the pizza so that people would know whats inside. They all look the same with the cheese all over the top. GREAT PLACE will go back when in town. The dinner buffet was $8.79 included your drink. What a bargain. YOU WILL NOT LEAVE HUNGRY!!! read more

Got a salad. Looked like they knew it was old but too cheap to toss it...no pun intended. Sandwich was cold. Probably not nuked long enough. Menu looked good, but the food doesn't match when it finally gets there. Staff busy talking to friends. Not real attentive. Never sweep the floor where paying customers are eating. Pizza is great.....taste delicious.....all meat Pizza with jalapeños onions mushrooms and tomatoes....lots of yummy cheese......Lady who took order on phone and checked me out wasn't too friendly....tried to ask questions and she wasn't too helpful. Had the buffet tonight, the food was really good and I liked everything we had, but they took forever to put out new pizzas/food. We were told the buffet is more expensive on Sundays, because they add pasta and wings. However when we got there (an hour and a half before buffet close time), there was no pasta or wings on the buffet. Took them an hour to refill the pasta and then didn't refill the wings at all. I wanted to try the wings, and wasn't happy about paying extra for them, then waiting around forever for them to refill them, only for them to not refill them at all even though they were out halfway through the buffet time. Also didn't get a single drink refill them entire time we were there. Overall the food was good but the service sucked (waitress and how the buffet was ran) read more

We were there late in the evening and our Waitress, Susan, was great. And what I can assume was the owner or manager came over and asked us if there was anything we would like on the buffet. Would not recommend eating at Wild Willy's. Buffet looked sparse, cold, and unappetizing. Got the stromboli that is supposed to have pepperoni, ham, and mozzarella cheese in it. I was expecting decent quality ham, but when the stromboli came out I was disappointed to see a pile of cheap grocery store ham making up the bulk of the stromboli. All I could taste was lunch meat as I was eating the stromboli, so it would have been more cost effective and better tasting to go to the grocery store deli counter instead. I know there a just a few food options in Van Wert, but this is not an establishment I would recommend. read more

By a good margin, the best pizza in VW. Not the best I've had in my travels but when home to visit family it is the one I want.

I would actually rate it a 0 but it doesn't give me that option. Went with family to enjoy pizza and planned on ordering from the menu. But we were reassured that the buffet was still available and it would not be a problem ordering it. We were charged full price for a party of 5 and there was no fresh pizza put out the entire time we ate dried up cold pizza and they could not even replace the pasta. Plus we were charged for pizza sauce for breadstick. We encountered extreme rudeness from the staff. We will not be back.. read more
