Green tea which doesn't consist of top shelf liquor so that really shocked me. -DJ Lance let multiple people sing songs for Karaoke night but when I asked, he told me that he only had time for two more songs while rolling his eyes since it was last call. I walked away from the DJ booth and he made an announcement, played a song for 1 minute then let someone else come up to sing: he then called two more people for karaoke after he had just stated that he was only playing two more songs. Which is a total of 3 songs.I'm not sure why he gave other patrons the opportunity to participate and not me but definitely not a good first experience for a place I've never been to. And we came to celebrate my friends birthday so she was also disappointed. read more

Stumbled upon this bar and they were doing karaoke, which I love! The karaoke stage had a nice setup, though they couldn't find my song on the website they use and were just gonna skip me until I said something about it. Otherwise the karaoke was great and easy to do! The bartenders were great, and although they didn't have any grenadine they were still able to make me a tequila sunrise. I spilled my drink immediately after getting it and the bartender was so kind to make me another one without charging. Overall a pretty good experience and a chiller bar to hang out at. read more

I love karaoke. LOVE! Walking around Ybor after dinner at the Columbia, as we were heading back to our vehicle, I heard karaoke being sung. It took me all of 10 seconds to decide if i wanted to belt out a tune while i was in Florida. It was pretty empty inside, so i figured ..WHY NOT!? The bouncer checked my ID (thanks for makin an old gal feel young ;) and I stepped inside. The karaoke host was pretty friendly when i asked about song selection/books. So I put my song in and was next up! The sound system was awesome and my friend said i sounded great. To be honest, I thought I sounded pretty great too! :D ;P I sang my song and we left. We were there pretty early in the evening, so I'm sure this place gets packed. But next time I'm in the tampa/ybor area and feel like singing again, I'll stop back in! read more

This place was one of my favorites when Toby was working there, but has really gone downhill since he retired. New DJ is basically extorting karaoke singers to pay a bribe to move to the front of the line by playing 2-3 non-karaoke songs and he makes it a 2-3 hour wait to sing your karaoke song. Love the bar tenders love the owners, but new DJ is not great and you will not likely get your song in ever on Friday or Saturday due to an approximately 40 song wait. The other days are probably similar. This place has been very disappointing lately as of July 2026. read more

Environment was excellent but ended up leaving after 2 drinks because the bartender was horrible. After tipping generously on the first round of over-priced drinks (im from manhattan so $20 for a drink is typical, see receipt for comparison) my buddy ordered a round and I watched her use a metered shot glass to pour my margarita, barely tipped the Hendricks bottle to make 2 gin & tonics.... then used the metered pour for the drink for the guy next to me and left the tequila pouring, and tapped the bottle until the glass was early full. The egregiously pretentious see-you-next-Tuesday warrants a hard pass on another visit. They really need new bouncers. The guy that checked my id was having a big power trip and threw my id to ground told me to pick it up. I have never experienced this before. I really didn't want to go inside but ended up still going in had a blast with my friends but the whole bouncer situation threw me off and will not go back because of this. This was a fun little spot we found in Ybor city. It wasn't too crowded. They had some music going on and that was good. Prices were pretty average for the location and as a matter fact they started doing karaoke while we were there which was kind of funny. You don't think you're going to see that in a bar on the strip on a Friday night but what the heck. Nobody was too bad so it was OK. The drinks were average prices and average pours. They had a couple flavored vodka so that was OK. They were pretty serious about checking IDs at the door. read more

Sometimes, all it takes is one majorly bad thing to deserve a 1-star. Came here on a Sat night so the rules MIGHT be different on other nights or maybe not. But no matter how much alcohol you drink(and everything is massively overpriced in a place that is NOT fancy enough to be able to deserve those prices), when you ask for water from the tap, they will give you ONE cup of water and then you have to buy bottled water. I told the bartender I paid for 4 drinks and tipped on it and I can only have 1 cup of water before they require you order $4 bottles of water? He said it's the owner who made the decision and that apparently all of Ybor does it, and that the Ritz charges $6. Well this place ain't the Ritz and if it were, that's also BS. They'll gladly accept any amount of money for alcohol but when those same patrons want to sober up to be able to safely drive home, they're only allowed 1 cup of free water? Insane. I can 100% understand trying to keep the bar from being filled with people asking for water that came from other bars and haven't paid for anything, but let's be honest, how often does that actually happen? Look at the bar at any point in the night, there are always people ordering drinks or cashing out. Most aren't asking for water. I could keep going but you get the idea. Whether other places are doing it or not, it's the owner's decision and the owner made a poor decision. Even the bartenders are on the hook for this because they have leeway with drinks. One said that the owner watches them on a camera. Likely a lie but if it's true, what kind of sad owner watches to make sure his bartenders aren't giving free tap water to patrons who willingly paid $9 for a High Noon? Yes, I'm kind of ashamed to admit that I paid that much for a HN and was still only allowed 1 cup of tap water. read more

Im a former retired state law enforcement and can tell you these bartenders and management are trying to get people drunk without providing water which can lead to alcohol poisoning and dehydration. The bouncer tried intentionally intimidating me because I carry a small purse for my medical supplies. The manager and bartenders immediately threaten to kick you out if you complain to them about anything they don't like. They were discriminated against me for my disabilities and actually started making fun of me for my terminal conditions. These people are awful and do not run a Proffesional business. It's as if they want the bar to be empty so then can play around with one another and are more interested in messing with customers and stealing their credit cards. I wouldn't be surprised if the bartender is drugging people as one person reported drugs in their beer. It's just awful ! read more

We went here as part of a charity pub crawl. I have been here before but to be honest, since there is karaoke it would not be my first choice. However, a lot of people like karaoke and it was part of the pub crawl so there we were. They have Das Boot here, and someone not with our group was doing one when we arrived (see picture.) I don't know if he got to the end because he was not chugging it. My one complaint was that they did not seem ready for us when we arrived. They could not accept our coupons for our free drink until someone came and put a card down for the tab. Apparently that was not the original deal but whatever; once one of the organizers got there we got our free beers. I was happy to get bottled beer here because this is the kind of place I would just get a beer anyway. If you like karaoke, come here, if not, there are a lot of other choices. read more

I came before it was super lit, so I'll acknowledge that. Ordered a gin and tonic which was really good. There was karaoke which was super fun! The DJ was really good as well. There is security there -- I believe one of the bartenders had on a security shirt. So one should feel safe nonetheless. There was no cover to enter. We ordered drinks and was fine for an hour then went to cash out and the lady bartender was yelling at people and asking security to kick people out. No idea what happened but asked to cash out and comes back and says you didn't start a tab, and I told her I had ordered drinks with her and gave her my card, she remembered I ordered drinks but says I never gave her my card. Stumbled on this place while in Ybor City. Heard the crowd cheering to karaoke songs and just had to stop by. Wasn't too crowded and you get carded before walking in. Bartenders were great and made drinks fast. DJ was great with the songs and kept the crowd going. Overall, it was a great time and place to enjoy a wild night. Lots of people coming in and out. No food served here and you can smoke inside. We had a great time. It's a basic karaoke bar with just drinks, a stage, and fun music. Not a big stage and not a lot of seatings. Relived my college days last Thursday, 8/29. We walked in and realized it was Karaoke night so we ordered a couple drinks and added our name to the list. We were there for about an hour and a half and our name wasn't called, but it was still fun just watching others try to sing their hearts out. The drinks were really cheap and we ordered two shots for $15. Usually when we go out to bars one shot alone can cost $10-$15. Went here for the first time last weekend and we had a pretty good time. The bar is a decent size and there are several areas to hang out at. When we got there around 10pm, the bar up stairs and bar out back were not yet open so we were limited to the front bar which can be a little crowded and very loud with people doing karoke. Around 11pm it gets really busy and can be hard to move around or go to different areas. I will say that being in Florida and not having any ac is a huge negative. Here I was dressed up, makeup on and drinking with no ac, it was so uncomfortable and gross within being there for an hour or so. I'm not sure if I'll be back during summer months as it's just not a good experience to be that over heated and try to drink. LOVE the karaoke here! Adam the DJ has an easy system & a TON of songs. Really liked how he played upbeat dance songs between singers. The evening was an interesting mix of genres - started pop, mixed w alt rock, a bit of metal, back to crowd pleasers. Fun place for a bachelorette party. Will def come back next time I visit Tampa!
