I cannot say enough wonderful things about Joe Rivieccio the owner of State of the Art Automotive…read moreInc. Autobody and Towing. After my husband was involved in an accident, what was already an incredibly stressful situation became even more overwhelming when I had to retrieve the car from Knights Collision the towing/storage yard. I had been in contact with the storage facility throughout the week and before I arrived I made sure to call them so they were aware of me coming. When I arrived, I was shocked to find that I was being charged $2,700 to release the vehicle after it had only been there for five days. To make matters even worse, after going through all of that, I was told at the last minute that they only accepted cash. It was a Friday, I didn't have that kind of cash with me, and I was completely overwhelmed. I was facing the possibility of having to leave the car there through the weekend and return Monday, knowing the charges would continue to increase. That is when Joe stepped in. Joe not only helped arrange for my car to be towed from the storage yard to his autobody shop so it could be repaired, but he went above and beyond in a way I will never forget. Seeing how upset and stressed I was, Joe was kind enough to lend me the money I needed so I could get my car released that day. He absolutely did not have to do that. He did it simply out of the kindness of his heart and because he genuinely wanted to help. In a situation where I felt completely helpless and overwhelmed, Joe took an enormous weight off my shoulders. His compassion, generosity, professionalism, and willingness to help when I truly needed it meant more to me than I can put into words. People often talk about good customer service, but what Joe showed me went far beyond customer service. He showed genuine kindness and compassion when I was having an incredibly difficult day. I would recommend Joe and State of the Art Automotive Inc. Autobody and Towing to absolutely everyone. If you are looking for someone who is professional, trustworthy, caring, and willing to go above and beyond for their customers, Joe is that person. Thank you, Joe, for helping me when I needed it most. I will never forget your kindness.

STAY AWAY from State of the Art Automotive Inc. The owner/tow truck driver (first red flag) whose…read morename is Joseph Rivieccio, is nothing but a liar. If this person MAGICALLY pops up with his tow truck when you're vulnerable and in time of need, SAY NO! I was coerced into using this "business" (I use that term very lightly) under the ruse of a waived deductible. Pay your deductible at a REAL SHOP..... it's worth it! I assure you, every poor review is true. None of those reviews were made about the wrong company. That's just the owner doing what he does, lying. Joe provided an estimate of 22 days for completion. It took 201 days, which included 6 months of rental fees. Joe also said he would reimburse me for those fees (I have it in writing), ANOTHER LIE. He covered 2 of the 6 months. Joe started telling me on day 30 of 201 that my truck would be completed within the week. He then went on to LIE about completion another 32 times over nearly 7 months, never once reaching out to me..... I always had to chase him for another lie. On the 201st day, after countless attempts to retrieve my vehicle, Joe then cowardly dropped my INCOMPLETE brand new American-made Vehicle to a third party mechanic to avoid taking responsibility for his incompetence and LIES. Joe will blame delays on anyone and everyone except himself, including back ordered parts, and then he'll lie to you about it. Please save yourself from endless aggravation and use a real body shop, not this sham of a business.
