I was nervous to get enough time to eat and it worked out perfectly. I had even asked for a to go container and didn't need it. The food was so good and the Horchata, heavenly!!! They not just take pride in the food and service but the decor and ambiance so endearing. So sweet and took us to a little Mexican Restor'an, right here in Daytona. The space is much larger than I thought and the bar area looked like a nice place to meet friends and enjoy the food, drinks & service. The gentleman who took care of us, was so precious and intent on us being happy. I have to also say the menu is amazing and we will be back to try it all... We arrived in good time, as we watched it fill up with others who knew how wonderful it is there... Plenty of parking and would be a great space to have a party!!! I love places like this with authentic food that takes you to the places of which it is from. My prayers for them to continue to thrive, and provide...

So we entered and we were walked over to a booth outside where we made our order. I cannot recall what my order was, but I believe it was a chicken fajita and it was absolutely delicious. What about two or three wraps that came attached to it. My friend got the chicken, shrimp and I believe steak bowl. She enjoyed hers as well. The best part about the meal was probably the drinks. Those were super strong and definitely made their way through us as we enjoyed our meal along with conversation. The best part about this restaurant is probably the fact that it was empty/lunchtime at the moment so we were served and taken care of extremely well. We left a generous tip and if I'm ever in the area for Mexican food, I'll certainly be back.

Several employees were comfortably hanging out in a booth, laughing and having what looked like the employee reunion of the year, while customers were left to figure things out on their own. After realizing we had become invisible, we made our way to the bar and waited about eight minutes for the bartender. We ordered a Pinot Grigio and a Bacardi and Diet Coke--a request we assumed wouldn't require a treasure map. The bartender then informed us, in so many words, that he wasn't sure what white rum was. He wandered off in search of this mysterious mythical spirit... and was never seen again. I'm assuming he's still out there somewhere, bravely searching the seven seas for Bacardi. After another four minutes of waiting, we decided to make our own great escape. We left thirsty, amused, and wondering if we had accidentally wandered into an improv comedy show instead of a restaurant. One star for the free entertainment. Zero stars for the service.

The food is uniformily great, no matter what you order on any particular day. I really like their fajitas, including the steak or steak and chicken combo. There is easily enough for 2, so we typically split those. While I am not a big driker, our friends like to order the giant margarita's and they always say they are fantastic and plentiful on the grande size, especially. Nice atmosphere, whether inside or on the sidewalk tables. Go and enjoy!!

After being sat - we waited over twenty-five minutes - watching other tables be sat and waited on while no one even looked our direction. My husband had to catch the attention of the employee who sat us, to even order drinks. We just wanted water. His demeanor was like we were being a nuisance - when we're truly incredibly low maintenance when we go out. We have two toddlers and are always trying to make sure they listen and are good and don't disrupt others. The food was fine. I wasn't a huge fan of the flautas. In my opinion, the chicken tasted bland and like it only had enchilada sauce on it then was put in a tortilla and fried. My kids loved the queso - that's their favorite thing everywhere. My husband liked the Mar Y Tierra. They had three people running the seating areas and it seemed they were all making the drinks for their own tables. I'm not sure if it was an off/low staffed night but I wasn't pleased during or after walking out. I feel like it has the potential to be a great place with great vibes - and maybe we just had a bad night there? A lot of patrons seemed frustrated as well. For the long time everything took and the quality - I would go to other places in Daytona before coming back here.

The hostess got us seated quickly & our server gave us all the best recommendations. We're from south Florida so we have Mexican food often, and this really impressed us! We will definitely be back to try more

I got three and I was full by the first taco, which is probably because I ate so much guacamole and chips! If you come here, which you totally should, try the guacamole and the street tacos. I only tried the al pastor, but I am sure everything tastes divine. I will be going back a lot so I will update the review accordingly. Our waitress' name was Kata (nickname for Katalina). The service she provided was fantastic and she also spoke Spanish which I loved. I felt like I was back home speaking with my own family. The ambiance was amazing as well. They have a beautiful mural of Frida Khalo which is perfect for photos -- it's so beautiful! The spot is quiet when I went today around 1500 (3pm). I loved it that way because that's what I prefer, but if you're into live music and more people then they have this option for you as well. I believe they have live music every Friday of the month. It's live mariachi band and you get to enjoy some yummy drinks and of course the delicious food. I am literally so crazy about these tacos -- it's the best I've had in this area all together.
