A must visit when on the Cape. For the most authentic experience I recommend stumbling into this majestic kingdom at midnight and treating yourself to a Zombie followed by some Crab Rangoon's and anything else that may peak your interest. Great food, great vibes, and even better people. With love, MK

Really good old school Americanized Chinese food - crab rangoons, pork fried rice, hot and sour soup a must. Drinks are strong and good, lo mein wasn't great had a flavor of a bit too much anise / licorice flavor. Everything else from service to atmosphere lovely and a fun old school vibe.

We've been eating at this long time, classic spot for decades. Always welcoming. Clean, organized, nice food and some great deals. Check out the Mon-Fri lunch special until 3pm. They provide outstanding customer service. Stopped in for some apps and a little treat. Can't go wrong here.

They make in fresh in-house chicken momo, pretty much the same thing as dumplings and they are fantastic

Food was just okay and they don't give you rice with the meal like every other Chinese restaurant. You have to order and pay extra for rice and they don't make this apparent. So we ordered food and discovered later there was no rice and had to drive back to the restaurant to get rice. Ridiculous! Would not recommend this place.

Yuck. We did not enjoy any of our food - incredible butchery of Chinese cuisine. Pass.

It's weird and funky, like stepping back in time, but the food is excellent and so is the staff.

The food was delicious and expensive. We had the asparagus salad and summer salad. Both were delicious and fresh. Steak frites were delicious and the serving size was decent. Duck carnitas was the hit! The duck was delicious and tender. The toppings (pickled onions, pickled veggies, salsa) with the corn tortillas were just right. You prep your own tacos with all the fillings. This was our favorite and we enjoyed the unique concept to use duck! It was an expensive meal but worth it! Service was great. I took more photos but realized they were quite blurry due to it being dark out and I didn't give my phone enough time to capture the photo. I wanted to eat!!! I would definitely come again.

This being 1:00 pm too. Or, The Whale boasts a great wait staff who are accommodating and professional, as well as being just plain nice. A very clean establishment. We started with the crudités as an appetizer, and we both had the asparagus salad as our lunch - to die for! Very, very good! Priced nicely, and no negatives whatsoever. This place is always packed for dinner, so we were glad that on a Wednesday we were able to waltz in for luncheon. A must do when on island.

This is the best tiki bar in Boston/Cambridge area. Probably in the state if I think about it. Legit cocktails. Very, very good food. Veg options. Creative and affordable mugs. An adjacent parking structure (the only one in Harvard Square). The place is unicorn material. I've been here maybe four times over several years. Shame on me for finishing this cumulative review now. The good news is every visit was solid. I've been here as a small and also large party. Sat at both the bar and table. Had reservations and also walked in. Visited in the summer and also winter. Weekends are tough to get in without a resy. It's tiny. And its Cambridge. Weekdays you'll be fine but reserve anyway. It's free. From bar to tables to booths, you're covered with seating. Can they serve a table for ten? Maybe but I wouldn't be that person. Check ahead of time. Drinks are strong. Sometimes sweet but mostly balanced. Food is yummy. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options clearly marked on the menu. Serving dishes and bowls are fun too: skulls/shells/etc. Enjoy this hidden secret. And don't steal the mugs. Buy them--they're so reasonable.

My family has been buying fresh lobster and fish from this location for years, but had never eaten from their menu on-site. Man, have we been missing out. I've just finished the best Oyster Po Boy I've ever had...and I've been fortunate enough to eat them all over the country. My son had a lobster roll that was so large and so good, I had to remind him to breathe in between bites. And my wife enjoyed her scallop roll so much, all she could say, repeatedly, was "this is my new favorite place." Once we'd finished, we got to meet the owner Bradley. He's a scallop fisherman who brings freshies in every morning at 4AM, which would explain my wife's reaction to the scallop roll. And then we met his partner Alex, who spent 15 years in New Orleans, which would explain the incredible Oyster Po Boy. Props too, to all of the staff at this place...especially the guys in the kitchen who manage to smile and wave despite the fact that they're moving fast and getting amazing food out the door. We'll definitely be headed back, probably tomorrow.
