Service and food was exceptional. The weather was perfect for the patio. This is one of the very few water-front restaurants in the Dennis Port / Harwich area so it gets very busy. We went at 4:30 to avoid the crowds. When we left around 6, the line was 40 deep. Go early.

An enjoyable evening out on the Cape with a dear friend. The lemon drop and cosmo were very generous pours of vodka. My French onion soup was tasty and filling. The fish sandwich was moist and flavorful. Overall a good meal but nothing to rave about.

Always a nice experience to visit Brax Landing. After attending the crowded 4th of July parade in nearby Chatham, we headed to Brax for a late lunch. Brax didn't disappoint. I had steamers and a Cesar salad. Clams were delicious. Just add a dip of butter for the win!

Sometimes you just need a couple of nice bartenders, a decent harbor view, and a great cheeseburger. Of course, I also recommend the Brax lobster rolls. The woman bartender recently had an ordeal with her son having to go to hospital. For all of us sitting at the bar, we were so happy he is ok. That is Brax and Cape vibe where conversations can become supportive. And food is good!

Brax was recommended to us by a local and boy were they right on point. The food, the service the location right off the marina in Harwich is absolutely amazing. Specifically, our server, Jill and the lobster rolls and Chowda were amazing. If you're anywhere near Harwich, it is a must!

Visited for a nice dinner for on my bachelorette. Amazing service! Picturesque views of the water. Their lobster roll and sweet potato fries hit the spot as well! Nice visit to the Cape we will be back!

Kickin it with a solid 10 on the queer o meter scale, Brax lands me in a conundrum. Can I give 3.75 stars? No? Well then, the waitress tipped the scale to the 4 star slot. She was so nice, patient and accommodating. The atmosphere is busy. (This is based on inside seating fyi) inside is a cozy setting with a harbor view. The view isn't so great along the left side, where there's a parking lot but we weren't out for a romantic lunch. That said, this is a fine spot for lunch. It is noisy and my hearing isn't stellar so hearing my wife was tough. It's busy busy busy. At 1pm on a Thursday we waited about 15 min for a table and on our way out, it looked to be about 30 min wait at least. Food: Chicken fingers and fries were tasty. The fries were SO GOOD. Hot and fluffy inside. I wanted to eat them all before they got cold. Perfectly done. My wife got an adult beverage - same as usual pineapple and Bacardi (yuck) and said it was good n strong. The way she likes them and her date. ha ha ha Anyhoo... I got the lobster roll. I like warm ones usually but this one was served cold. I'm SO torn at the review. It was huge. No mistaking that. And the price reasonable, $30. It came on a sub roll lined with a little shredded lettuce and tossed in light mayo and dill. The lobster was all claws and knuckle. Finally that's fine with me. I don't mind that at all. However the meat was floppy? I can't think of a better word. Like maybe it was previously frozen? It didn't taste fresh steamed to me, which is why maybe they can provide a huge roll. Not sure. I personally would rather a hot dog roll with less meat and have it fresh shucked. Anyway that's my only con, which I think might be a biggie!? Hence 3.75 stars. But I'm torn bc I really enjoyed the time there. And those fries. Omg. Enjoy yourself out there! Cheers!

Drove all the way out to the cape for a job interview, so I obviously wasn't going to leave without getting a taste of the local food scene. Of course, most restaurants were closed for the off-season, but not Brax Landing. A+ for that. I was craving seafood, and this place had mixed reviews, but I did not have too many other options. First off, ample parking. Awesome! Walked in, and was a little confused. It looked like there should've been a host stand, but there wasn't. Anyways, I took in the lovely decor. Brax Landing understood the assignment. It really took me back to the olden days of the cape, the rustic, wooden fishing accents were so great. And after walking down the hallway pictured, it opens up into a lovely restaurant with some big windows overlooking the water, which we were seated by. So lovely!! As for the meat and potatoes of my review, the waiter came over and asked my mom what she would like to drink. She replied water, he asked "with lemon?" "Sure!" She responded. He did not ask me what I wanted to drink, oddly enough, but I did want the same. He returned with two ice waters and no lemons. Oh well. My mom and I both ordered the clam chowder and the lobster roll. He didn't forget to ask me this time! I really liked the chowder, it was chock full of clams and there wasn't any bacon in it, and the potatoes were a good texture. It was very creamy. Not the best I've had, but it was good! Now, the lobster roll- I thought it was delicious! My mom didn't like how mayo-y it was, but I thought it was really good. It was served with fries, coleslaw, and a pickle, but I only got around to eating the fries which were also good. I enjoyed them a couple days later with some Cane's sauce, iykyk. And the lobster roll was huge, with soooo much lobster, I had that for leftovers as well. Our waiter even boxed our leftovers for us. A nice touch! Thank you, Brax Landing, for a taste of Harwich Port!

Something a little extra on your tab.

My family ate here recently and enjoyed the food very much. The service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was rather rustic I would say. You can sit outside with a great view of the harbor or sit inside and have a nice view also. I had the Cape Cod Ruben which is similar to a Reuben sandwich except with fish. It was absolutely delicious. The fish was deep fried crisp and flaky and the french fries and the coleslaw were a fine compliment to this Sandwich. My wife had the shrimp and my son had the steak tips and both enjoyed them thoroughly. We would definitely come here again and hope you get a chance to discover this unique place by the harbor in Harwich Port

Nice view with average food. Had a fun time on their deck with a few drinks, oysters, calamari, chowder, and fish.

He whipped up the offerings on the menu but also was well prepared to concoct libations based on flavor profiles or desired outcomes. He also can be trusted to create delicious mocktails that truly deserve a callout on the menu. For food, the olive bread and leek butter are delicious (though for a group you may want two orders), the white bean dip is sufficiently garlicky, and the burger is mighty in simple but delicious taste--accompanied by French fries that reminded us all of McDonald's. I hesitated to write this review because any busier would mean smaller chances of walking in on any given night, but I cannot bring myself to gate keep a gem that would find its place in any high-standard city, let alone the haven of South Chatham.

Service was very attentive and informative, and food recommendations were spot on. The special salad of spinach, goat cheese, strawberries and tomatoes was divine - one of the best starter salads ever! Bone-in pork chop with asparagus and roasted potatoes was fantastic, as was the duck w risotto. Salmon was excellent. But the culinary "coup de grâce" was the sorbet!! Truly one of the best desserts ever!! Served with fresh berries and a large cookie. Overall, a great dining experience, albeit a bit on the expensive side. I also remember that, even though the waitress said it was her favorite as soon as I took a bite I could tell it was a dish I did not care for. I ate a few bites and left the rest. It was some kind of steak with a special preparation. I've looked at the restaurant menu but do not see it listed. It was a special for that evening. The restaurant had a nice Cape Cod feel to it, and it was crowded. There was a large party sitting near by and the acoustics being what they are, it was a little noisy but they left after a bit. The lighting was dim, but it was a pleasant evening and the service was great. They had a nice selection of wines. My friend had the Eggplant Vindaloo, which I had considered ordering and it was a huge serving. She took it back and ate it for several days. Another friend ordered and ate appetizers and loved the Maine Mussels Dijonnaise. I guess it was just my luck of the draw. I should have gone with my first idea and ordered the Eggplant. Or the Mussels. Despite being disappointed with my entree, it was a wonderful place to enjoy an evening with friends.
