The fries disappear so fast I'm convinced they're secretly evaporating. The only reason it's not five stars is because every visit creates a new problem: now every other burger has to live in Beef Shack's shadow. That's a lot of pressure for the competition. Service is always good...no complaints there. If you're in Huntley and craving a great burger, this place absolutely delivers. Just don't wear a white shirt unless you're looking to leave with a ketchup souvenir. I'd happily come back again... probably sooner than my doctor would recommend.

We sat at the bar and got fast friendly service from Carrie, the bartender. Between three of us we ordered some curds, a couple burgers and the walleye fish fry. Food arrived pretty quick and it was excellent. Nothing fancy but piping hot and clearly cooked with care. Between the great service, awesome food and the overall dive bar nature of Mott's, we will definitely return. Five stars.
