We were craving something outside our usual rotation, and this spot ended up being a pleasant surprise. I had ribs on the brain, and after a quick Yelp search this place stood out. I called in an order and was quoted a 20-minute wait. Since it's only about 10 minutes away, I gave it a little time before heading over... perfect timing, because the food was ready right when I arrived. The owner handled checkout himself, was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant looked clean and well-kept which is always a great first impression. Once home, we dug in. The chicken parm sandwich was excellent: generously cheesy, with a tangy sauce that avoided being overly sweet. The bread was lightly buttered with just a hint of garlic, adding flavor without overpowering the sandwich. The chicken itself was thick, juicy, and very tender... not dry, not greasy, just done right. The way you expect it to be. The ribs were equally satisfying. They were very tender, tho not quite falling off the bone, but close enough to show proper cooking, they had a rich, smoky sauce that had real depth of flavor glazed over them. The fries were the only minor miss; they could have been crispier and benefited from a touch more salt, but they didn't detract from the overall meal. All told, this was a great experience and exactly the kind of quality local spot worth adding to the regular rotation. The menu is extensive, and there are several other items I'm eager to try. Holy cow what great big portions and delicious pizza! My daughter ordered a Caesar salad, which came in a huge bowl perfect for her dinner size. My husband however ordered the Italian salad not realizing how big it was and we still had leftovers to take home. The 16 inch pizza we had, had a delicious crispy crust that I can't find anywhere. The cheese on top was so incredibly gooey and cheesy and the abundance of ingredients from mushrooms to pepperoni and sausage were over the top. I haven't seen a pizza loaded like that in years! This pizza was delicious! It's not very big inside so don't think you're gonna go in and sit down in a restaurant it's more like you walk up to the counter, order your pizza and there's a few tables in a small area. There's no liquor on the menu so you can't have beer or wine, but that's perfectly fine. There's plenty of sodas and water to choose from. Pam was awesome! When we were packing everything up she brought all kinds of boxes and containers for all the leftovers and she was just spectacular help. If you do end up coming here know that the restaurant is off the main street in the back of a parking lot so it's not too easy to find. Use your navigation on your phone to get you in there I promise you won't be disappointed. It was worth a 45 minute drive to try this spectacular pizza. read more

We celebrated my husband's 70th bday there today in Hampshire. They only have 4 tables but we still had a good time. Vince was very nice to us (7people). We had garlic wings which were great and plenty of celery with it. Had the carnivore pizza which the guys demolished. Also the margarita pizza and a small pepperoni one. Crust was thin and crispy. Sauce was good and plenty of cheese. Could probably cut back a bit on cheese but it was Delicious. We had cheesecake both the plain and chocolate chip, a cannoli on the house from Vince, and tiramisu . All delicious. We all sang to bday boy and Vince and family did too. Vince and his family were very kind and we would go there again for either pizza to go or try other entrees. read more

I was searching for a new pizza place because I was tired of the big chain pizza places. I heard from a bunch of people on facebook to try Alfanos because they were really good. I'm always nervous at trying new places at first, but then the Pepperoni pizza arrived. IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!! This was literally the best pizza I have had in years!! Everything from the crust, to the sauce, the amount of pepperoni it had and the cheese was great!! I will definitely be ordering from there again and I urge you all to do the same! read more
