    Potato Salad
    Dan N.

We were out in that area and had a taste for sandwiches than yelp led us here. First thing we noticed when we walked in was no employees in masks or gloves or any PPE (we should have left) but they had some tables outside so we would just order and go outside. I like the selection. I was drawn to the "Club Manhattan" turkey and ham with Thousand (I love thousand island on sandwiches) but was put off by the Bacon bits, why the tube of fake bacon, just use bacon. So I got the Sicilian, nice simple Italian sub. My wife got the italian. I like that they had little containers of pasta salad, coleslaw and potato salad. We also had a potato salad (very yummy, nice and vinergry) and pasta salad, also very good. The Sandwiches were good, I am not a fan of the toasting of the bread on subs, but it was not over done. The vinaigrette kind of took over the sandwiches, I could not taste any difference between my wifes and my sandwich. The meats and topping seem nice and fresh. I don't think we will go out of our way to go back anytime soon, I really wanted to love this place, the facemak thing really turned us off.

Very dilly and yummy home made potato salad.

Adding Addy's ... ... to my list of go-to places for a sandwich. I would have given a five but just a slight deduction for the so-so service. Read on, people. Here's the breakdown: Ambience: Not much ambience to be had for a casual sandwich place, but it was pleasant and seemed clean, which was sufficient for our purposes that day. Service: This was (again) the reason for less than perfect score. The person behind the counter wasn't heinous or incompetent, by any means, but not friendly, barely a smile and for me, that takes away from the overall experience. Food: The "six-inch" size was definitely much larger! The bread was fresh and perfectly toasty. Presentation was pretty much what you'd expect for a casual sandwich place. My sandwich (the Famous) had plenty of contents and was delicious and filling. My friend had the turkey club and said it was also very tasty and well done. We both liked the freshness and quality of the bread. I also ordered a serving of the home made potato salad. For me the serving size was perfect - just a small cup (maybe 5-6 bites worth) was a great complement to the sandwich. Very dilly, but nicely seasoned. Cost: There was a coupon on the counter, but we were told we could not use it until the next visit (I get it but then don't put it on the counter - hand it to me after I make my purchase). I found the cost to be very reasonable, especially given the generous serving size of the sandwich. Bottom Line: Would I recommend/go again? For sure! Like I said - I'm adding Addy's to my list of go-to places when I'm hungry for a sandwich!

The Italian on focaccia bread! Delicious salami, mortadella and cheese!

I SEE SUBS We recently attended our friends 25th Anniversary Party that was catered by Addy's. I asked Karen the blushing bride, "Where did you get these sandwiches?" She told me about this fantastic Mom and Pop sandwich shop! I then immediately went to Yelp to see what other Yelpers had said about Addy's. And guess what? Addy's wasn't even on Yelp until this review. I was eating in uncharted waters and no one had reviewed them yet. I was so excited. Now remember I have not been inside of Addy's. This review is for the wonderful catering we experienced. We had two sandwiches and a wrap to choose from at the party. The first sandwich was called the Italian. I kinda like the name already. It was layered with salami, mortadella and cheese on a small round focaccia bread. And the focaccia was delicious. The one thing I loved was how thin and soft the bread was. Sometimes focaccia sandwiches can be to bready and dry but not this sandwich. There were also garden fresh toppings too and they were cut perfectly. This sandwich had lettuce, ripe tomato and red onion. The red onion was shaved perfectly thin. This is the best way to serve it because it isn't overpowering but brings a nice flavor. The second sub I tried was called the American and again I liked the name too. This was your typical sub with smoked turkey, ham and cheese on a piece of soft French bread. I can not stand when subs are on that hard bread where you can't even bite it. That's not fun to eat. This sandwich just melted with every bite. Again the sandwich was loaded with the garden fresh veggies. The third item they had were wraps. At this point I was so stuffed I couldn't eat another thing. But I would love to make an observation about the wraps. There were 4 different wraps to choose from: tomato, spinach, herb & wheat. This made the tray of wraps really colorful. I also noticed the wraps had turkey, cheese and tons of lettuce, onion and tomato stuffed in them. I must say I was really impressed with the food at the party. The subs were delicious and everyone seemed to devour them. Food can make or break a party and the subs from Addy's made this party great. It was also great be celebrating 25 years with Ken and Karen too. Personally I think we need to have a party next year for their 26th and order up some more trays of Addy's subs. So if you live in the area and you are looking for a nice tasting sub made with love, then this is the place. Or if you need food for that summer bash or graduation party the catering menu is perfect! I also was able to see there regular menu and they have got items like hot Italian Beef and meatball sandwiches. I wished I lived closer to try all these delicious items.

After driving by a million times.. Finally stopped in. Asked a girl in the lot what she was takin home. She said,"meatball sub and a buffalo sub".. Said she loved the place. Was surprised when I walked in, good atmosphere.. Clean. Next I saw they use Turano bread,.. Good start. I ordered a .99 dog, out of curiosity and the 12 inch Sicilian.. W giardiniera Dog was solid for a buck.. They threw ketchup on it, w/ everything. All good, I lived The sandwich was also solid...quality meat, bread was fresh. I'd ask them to soak it in oil n vinegar next time and double up on the girdinaiera!! Saturday at 1pm... Place was busy.. I'll be back

Nothing to write home about, maybe try a salad next. The soup was sub par. Seems like they do a lot of catering for the local area.

We came here on a Monday night (also Presidents' Day) so we were the only ones in there. I got a burger with sweet potato fries which was good but nothing to boast about. My husband got their chili cheese dog (also nothing to boast about) and their Chicago hot dog. He said the Chi dog was the best chi dog he's ever tasted and that the celery salt on the bun was a nice touch. The kids share some chicken nuggets and fries. They had games inside (connect four, giant jenga, etc.) and swings which makes it really fun. They also serve the food in dog bowls to which my daughter was really confused about lol.

They have wooden floors, comfortable booths, and nice wooden tables with patio type chairs to give you that outside dining experience but actually being indoors. There is a Ms. PacMan / Galaga game and a toy locker claw machine. Some yard games: Huge Jenga and two connect 4. There is a outdoor single swing anchored to the ceiling and two TV's on the wall. The food was served in dog bowls lined with paper. It was hard to eat the sandwiches because the bread was cut all the way through. I would have loved for them to cut the sandwich in half. It was a little awkward to eat. The Philly Steak sandwich was good but was not very full, it could have used more meat. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was good but would have been better with a little more meat. The Hot Motz were great - 8 for $7.99 which is a great price! I wanted to try the Poppin Pierogi but they did not have any... hopefully next time. I recommend giving this place a try. Especially if you have a dog and kids and are traveling or passing through the area during meal time! There was a beautiful sweet golden retriever chilling out in the fake grass (people watching - so cute) We will be back again and will most likely order burgers. #kidfriendly #dogfriendly
