Double Shot is hands down one of my favorite coffee shops. The coffee is consistently excellent, the food is fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. It's a little building in the middle of a parking lot. The line of cars progresses quickly. Once arriving at the window, we were greeted with a friendly smile. I ordered a cappuccino with extra dry foam. The barista made it perfectly. It was rich and smooth. Great coffee! We had a VRBO that just happened to be across the street. Each morning, I could see that cars were lunging up both ways so I figured "must be good." Had their "Hendricks Mocha". It was really good. So good in fact that I ended up going back twice more before we left town. read more

Incredible flavor! Located in a partial residential area in a small strip mall like parking lot. Drive through looks hazardous with cones lining the drive through. Menu was easy to read. The line was short but we were in line quite awhile. We were originally irritated, however, we noticed the order in front of us was for 7 drinks so we felt the time we waited was actually really reasonable for the amount of drinks and I'd say they are Above average in service time! We had our drink in mere moments after ordering! The baristas are above average. They were friendly and knowledgeable. I asked at least 5 questions and the barista was patient and incredible. The stand does not use white chocolate powder but does have a white chocolate sauce and quite a few syrup choices. The coffee was above average and this coffee smacked me in the face with incredible flavor and was well made. The cost is well below average nationally but unsure of locally with my 24oz, quad shot white chocolate, brown sugar and cinnamon Americano with an Oat milk topper and cinnamon powder ringing up at less than $5.00!!! This is a drive-thru shop only. The baristas are friendly and helpful. There is a wide selection of drinks on their menu and they offer sizes up to 24 ounces. A 16 ounce with 3 shots is the same price as one with 4 shots, which the barista told us right away. I ordered a white chocolate peppermint latte and my husband got an almond mocha. Both were 20 ounce, quad shots. It was about $9 for the 2 drinks. They were nice and hot with lots of foam and lots of flavor. The coffee did not taste burnt or bitter. We will return here again, when we are in Pocatello. read more

The coffee is really good, but I feel forced to leave a tip for a 2 dollar coffee. Your only option is a $ 1.00 or up, so I basically have to leave a 50% tip for a cup of tea coffee. read more

Cutest coffee drive thru! I was visiting Pocatello for work and needed a pick me up. The ladies in the office recommended double shot and it definitely didn't disappoint! I tried a vanilla latte and cold brew with soy and both were fantastic! I only wish I would have found this place at the beginning of my trip! read more

Literally the WORST coffee. I got an iced coffee with soy milk (which is so easy to do I have no idea how they messed up) it just tastes like water. It's only a drive through which makes it hard for separate orders and we had 4 separate orders in the car. When we told Alicia that we had separate orders she ROLLED HER EYES. Then she closed the window for at least 5 minutes between orders. Another worker opened the window and we started to order and she said "hold on let me get the other girl" as we were giving the order. So rude. They messed up 3 out of the 4 orders. Hecka slow service. I've returned a few times thinking that they will obtain the efficiency of what a drive through coffee stand should be all about, but no. Most recently, I ordered a latte, and when asked if it was too late to add a flavor, the barista told me, "not a problem." Then, after the syrup had been added, she told me it cost more so I had to scrounge around for 65 cents before I got my drink. My experiences have been consistent...consistently long waits and slow service. read more

Double Shot is one of the best places in Poky to get a cup of coffee. Always friendly. Always great tasting coffee. Because of its popularity, the wait can exceed 5 minutes. That's about 10-20 minutes shorter than visiting a Starbucks AND you get the benefit of coffee that doesn't taste like someone's foot. Double Shot has added staff, including a dancing chicken, that take your order ahead of the window. It gets the coffee to you faster and makes you smile. I love this place. The coffee is good, but it's not worth the wait. Unless you have 15 minutes to spend in the drive through before work in the morning, you better find somewhere else to get coffee. If I see more than one car at either lane, I just keep driving because I know it will take forever. I would prefer to support local business, but the wait time is seriously ridiculous. Best coffee for miles around. Also, the best personal service. It takes a little longer (not usually 20 minutes, but sometimes), but that's because they do it right! Not like Starbucks or McD's- who burn the coffee and then shove it at you like you are bothering them- These people care about their coffee and they care about their customers. I won't go anywhere else! If you want your coffee super-fast and supermarket style, and you don't mind drinking garbage, go to starbucks. Not a good place to go, unless you have 20 minutes to kill... I'm very sorry I don't have better things to say, especially because this stand is the only coffee option on my route to work everyday. After a dozen or so visits, I have found Double Shot to have the slowest service of any coffee stand I have ever visited (average waiting time just under 20 minutes, even when only 1 or 2 vehicles are in line). Although the barista/os are very friendly, they often engage in protracted conversations with customers at times when a long line has developed. This is very frustrating, given that a drive-thru coffee stand is all about efficiency. Recently, a Double Shot baristo laughed at me with another customer because I appeared impatient after waiting 7 minutes for them to finish their conversation and complete a single drink order. When I made it to the window and got my drink, the baristo mocked me by stating, "I hope you find peace today." I wish this place were awesome, but it isn't, and I will be taking my business elsewhere from here on out. read more
