Donuts are A plus. I travel all over the United States and these are by far the best I have ever had.

While I have not been to this main location, I would like to comment on the experience I had at the satellite location in the Student Union Building of ISU. I am sure that my fellow reviewers are speaking truth when they are talking about the wonderful experiences they have had at the Cedar St location. However, I would argue that some serious quality control must be done at the satellite location, especially if they are to carry the name and image of an established business. To have a location ruin the reputation of your business by serving stale donuts and poorly made coffee is incredibly disappointing, especially when the reviews of the main location are so promising. The idea that the quality and experience found at the main location should extend to the satellite by the same name should be a standard belief. Most of the donuts at this store were stale before the morning rush was over, and I was served an iced vanilla latte that tasted as though rotten coffee beans had been ground into an espresso concentrate so foul it carried its own aura of bitterness. While I am sure the main location provides a quality experience worth paying for, something must be done to ensure that the satellite location has the same quality control and is able to provide the same experience. read more

The donuts were good. Were they the best I have ever had? I have had some really good melt in your mouth glazed donuts in the Midwest. That said, what makes this place special is the fun VARIETY of gourmet donuts. For me, the huckleberry was to die for and I highly recommend it! Next time I am visiting, I will be back for the huckleberry alone! Please save me some! read more

Donuts made with real Idaho potatoes? That's a must when driving through the potato state! There's so many unique donuts to choose from. Our favorite was the caramel apple, followed by the summer vanilla. The raspberry lemonade was pretty good too. The only one that fell a bit short was the huckleberry: very sweet, but no distinguishable flavor. The donut base was soft and fluffy, thanks to the potato flour. The iced coffee was perfect for me! Lots of cream and sugar, light on the coffee as I requested. The young man said "I promise there's coffee in there!" when he gave me my order. Service couldn't have been nicer. read more

Went to the 'new' Idaho Falls location. Tasted day-old. I wonder if the donuts are made in Pocatello and then shipped to I.F. for sale the following day, and those costs directly responsible for the high prices in I.F. One maple bar and one other donut was $8! read more

So we stopped by this place at the beginning of a long drive from Jackson Hole to Seattle (so it was a looooooooong drive). We were looking for some sweet breakfast item after supercharging the car and we found this place which offered espresso beverages too, which was what I was looking for after all. The display of donuts is impressive, there are so many choices and they all look good. We settled for an original glazed donuts and an old fashioned donut covered with chocolate. The daughter enjoyed the glazed donut thoroughly, she wanted another one. I also enjoyed the old fashioned donut, a solid delicious donut. We then got two short cappuccino, I was fussy about getting something small, I don't understand latte/cappuccino sizes above 8oz. They obliged and prepared two 8oz drinks. We observed the barista at work and we were immediately impressed by the great care he showed while preparing our drinks, all neatly organized and clean. The cappuccino was fantastic, way above my expectations, I would have never expected to find this kind of espresso quality in a donut shop in the middle of nowhere. First time coming to this donut shop, the family was excited to try out all the different offerings. We got a full dozen to split between four people. The definite hit was the apple fritter. A good amount of apples throughout the donut and cinnamon ribbons lending a pleasing cinnamon flavor. Crisp on the outside, light and soft on the inside. My daughter also really loved her root beer donut and the maple bacon bar. My other daughter was a fan of the Chocolate peanut butter donut, but both my husband and I felt like the peanut butter filling was too much and too dense. The powder sugar lemon donut was tasty, nothing ground breaking here, just a solid lemon donut. Misses were the banana split donut, my daughter liked the frosting, but felt that the chocolate had a sort of medicinal flavor to it which turned her off. Hubby and I tried the raspberry chococlate and felt that the frosting was way too much, and the donut was just o.k. in flavor without the frosting. The only raspberry flavor is in the frosting, not inside the donut as we had hoped. Overall we will be back for the fritters without a doubt. Best fritters in East Idaho. There is still plenty of variety of donuts that we didn't try yet, so we will attempt some new flavors next time, and I know my kids will enjoy some of their favorites from this time again as well. The service was friendly and helpful. The prices were o.k., it got a little pricey. Over twenty dollars for a dozen donuts makes me a little unhappy. These donuts are awesome! We weren't sure about it coming in because we were told that their donuts are potato based vs flour. That just sounded odd to me. But man, was I wrong.... These hand made donuts are spectacular. (potato~flour is handmade fresh each morning at o'dark-thirty) In fact, all of their delicious offerings were off the chart. The manager, Lindsay, and her daughter Liv, are potato pastry queens! And if that's not enough, they have a local roast coffee and espresso that is amazing. We were traveling through beautiful Idaho and saw pictures of the banana split donut online and just had to try it, never saw anything like it! We also tried the Nutella and buttermilk donut. Everything was fresh and delicious and did not disappoint. The coffee is delicious and love that they put the cream and sugar in for you! Very friendly staff, nice bright decor but not great donuts. I had four cake donuts. The two larger ones were very dry. It's ok to be a little crunchy on outside but inside was dry throughout. I also ordered two blueberry cake donuts and one turned out to be chocolate. Also very dry and little flavor. It was late morning but these had to be from the previous day at best. I walked in and knew I needed 2 dozen but based on the appearance and selection I thought it was going to cost me $50. Truly amazing we served these donuts at our wedding. My only regret was that we hadn't bought more didn't count on everyone having more than one. Everyone was amazing how great they were.
