Lunch | $50-100 Service was good, they are kind. The only thing that I would add is that after the check, the waitress may want to swing by again to chk on their table. You pay at the register however after the bill I decided that I needed a small carryout container. Our waitress was no where to be found. My mom finally got up and went to the dessert/carryout area for a container. The food was good, the ambiance was fair. The prices were fair. They have a parking lot.

I ordered the skillet, but it comes on a bowl. The cheese wasn't even melted, but the eggs and potatoes were hot enough that after some maneuvering I was able to melt the cheese.

Seating and service was quick and easy. Menu served most of what you'd expect at a typical diner. Similarly, the vibe is juke box diner with dessert displays and a familiar menu. Didn't get to take photos of all we ordered but I was disappointed in the home fries. The texture and taste wasn't cooked all the way, except for some burnt sides. Wings were not juicy but maybe I'll ask for sauce next time.

Went to the Double T for lunch with my wife. Huge menu. Great service . The food was great as the picture shows. Skipped dessert but the pastries on display were exceptional!

I was in north Baltimore for about a week recently. I tried this place because it was on the road and needed breakfast. I came back for 2 more breakfast meals because I couldn't find anything else that compares to it in the area. So, I ate here 3 times in 1 week. There's really not a better compliment. Double T has many positive qualities: it's spacious; has a ginormous number of booths; portions are generous; and the vibe is relaxed. The breakfast offerings are endless. If you can't find what you want for breakfast here, then you're impossible to please. Eggs Benedict can be ordered in many ways. I stuck with the classic version on 2 visits and wasn't disappointed. They cook their breakfast meats carefully and pancakes are on point. The home potatoes are traditional, if pedestrian, so, on one occasion, I asked for and got some lovely onion rings as a substitute. I do like a big breakfast--and this diner delivers on that. Finally, I spied a Smith Island Cake in the large bakery display case in the front. I got a slice to-go. Their recipe is right on the money.

My family and I used to come here often and have started to again. Everytime we have, the place is chaotic and very loud. Theres way too many tables in the dining areas. Its very full! The servers are always stressed and overwhelmed. The managers aren't much help either. Instead of helping, they just boss the servers around. The menu is huge! The food is pretty good. I have only had one thing, I didnt like and that was their "pickled" beets. They aren't really pickled. They are like soaked in an italian dressing and are sweet. The portion sizes are good and filling. The vegetable soup is the best! Overall, if you like a very loud and crowded place, with decent food. Its the place for you!

Typical diner food, but our server was super sweet and attentive. They have a HUGE food selection; the menu is actually a really overwhelming. I ordered sweet potatoes and some were not fully cooked. Also ordered "jumbo wings" but they were seriously the tiniest wings I've ever seen.

Most dishes here are reliable. The fried shrimp are freakin' awesome. The only complaint I have is that, for the past two visits, the cream of crab soup has become watery / runny which is disappointing.

It was so good that my dad and I repeatedly visited every morning while in Baltimore. The waitress was soo friendly and kind. The first day we just did take out to get a sandwich and coffee. She filled up my dad's coffee mug for $1 which was super nice. She also explained the menu and was very accommodating. The food was great as well. We ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a bacon and onion sandwich. Both were made to perfection and fast. They made sure our order was brought to us in a swift manor. The coffee was delicious as well. Really strong but it was great to start the morning. The ambiance was nice. They had great signage outside for take out and for the sit in dining experience. Once you walk in you will feel at home and comfy. They also offer outside seating in front of the diner which is nice on a nice day. We sat outside on our last day and the owner came and set up the umbrella and ensured we did not anything else. It was a great experience. If you are in downtown Baltimore I suggest you check it out! Cheers!

Popular local spot with large portions of very decadent food options…read more The place is first-come-first-serve (they do not take reservations), and you have to stand outside while you wait for a table (they don't write down phone numbers and there is no seating area). This said, I came here on a Saturday morning with my fiancé and the wait was only 10-15 min (which was worth it for the food) Have a few indoor tables, a small bar-counter, and 2 outdoor tables as well. We were seated at the outdoor tables even though we didn't specify that we wanted to sit outside. We decided to take this rather than wait longer for indoor tables (which also looked somewhat cramped). The sidewalk outside is kind of tilted though, and there are a bunch of people waiting for tables outside, so it is a bit of a strange vibe. This all being said, the service was incredibly fast. Our orders were taken right away, the food came out pretty quick, and we were brought our check (which is payable via phone) as soon as we finished eating. You can tell that they run a really tight ship/well executed operation. For food, this place is known for their "Captain Crunch French Toast" and "Sweet Baby Jesus" loaded tots, which have both been featured on the Food Network 3X, but the rest of their menu is also pretty fun and creative. My fiance and I each got an iced coffee, the French toast, and breakfast tacos and we really enjoyed everything. The portions we so big that we had to take the majority of the breakfast tacos home as well.

The interior is grungy and the staff is quick on their feet. The day we came in here, there was a scuffle with a strange patron who happened to spill drinks on another table but they handled it really professionally.
