The location is odd but thankfully there's ample amount of parking. The Napoleon breakfast which consisted of French toast, eggs, and meat was fine. The French toast's texture was good (not wet and soggy) and I'm glad they separated the walnuts into the syrup. Overall good food and there are seats to eat there. I dropped in for a breakfast to go order. They have a small dining area if you'd like to stay and eat there. The vibe is country homestyle breakfast. You definitely get the feel you are eating in someone's dining room, especially because you can smell the food and will most likely leave smelling like the food too. My wife enjoyed her scrapple egg and cheese on croissant breakfast sandwich. I got an order of french toast, which was on very nice and thick bread, but it didn't have a very distinctive flavor. We have stopped by several times over the years. The place is really cute and comfortable. The menu is interesting and varied. The food is good. I was especially struck this time that we, nor any other customers, were not greeted in any way. The cashier was lackluster and never smiled or spoke. A manager/ owner was bustling around but did not once acknowledge any customers. This is a tiny, intimate setting and it ends up feeling cold and off-putting. I cannot believe I have never been to this place before. This place is definitely a hidden gem. It is located in a busy business area but it has plenty of parking. The lady at the front was very friendly and offered suggestions. They have a nice variety of food to order. They have lunch and dinner. I ordered a Scrapple, egg, and cheese on croissant. It was a great breakfast. We were hungry and only in town for the night heading home. Found the review through Yelp. I ordered the Hippie breakfast (2 eggs, veggie potatoes and toast. No meat) and a side of fried green tomatoes. BIG meal. Hubs got a breakfast sandwich on a bagel. He ate some of my potatoes and I still had leftovers. The food was hot, very tasty eggs and the potatoes and veggies were sooo delicious. The fried green tomatoes were crispy and tender. I'm very happy we stopped. I was so excited to find this little cafe. I much prefer the non-chain restaurants. The food was good; however, my teenaged son and I were the only customers and were not greeted at all. This place has been one we have been meaning to get to for several months now and we finally made it. It is literally on a main road with easy access and plenty of parking. Inside it is a small room with 5 tables that look like live wood, easily seating 4. The decorations gave it a downhome on the farm feel. The lady at the counter could not have been more helpful and pleasant. There is a sign announcing the special at the counter where you order. They prepare your order and the lady brings it to your table, as it is in process, she checks on the progress of your order and gives you updates. Nice. My husband chose the pit ham with cheddar on rye toast and a side of pasta salad with Italian dressing on it. He said both were good. I ordered the pit beef, it was ok. What was remarkable was the fresh cut fries, I could not leave them alone, one lead to another very quickly. Hot and fresh as they should be, they were the star of the show. Farmacy Cafe has been on my list of breakfast spots to check out for months as it is connected to my doctor's office. After an appointment the other week I finally gave it a try. The woman working the counter was so friendly and gave me the rundown of the menu with it being my first time there. I ended up ordering the pecan french toast, croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon, and a sourdough breakfast sandwich with scrapple. There are a few tables inside so I took a seat and waited about ten minutes for my food. The woman working made sure I was set with silverware, napkins, butter, etc. They wrapped the sandwiches up real well in foil- when I got home they were still piping hot. My photo of the sourdough sandwich does not do it justice, it was HUGE and also delicious. My boyfriend really enjoyed his croissant sandwich. The pecan French toast was also large and very good! Will def be back but will try not to order so much food next time. read more

Ok, so I don't know who the grumpy cashier/server was that other reviews mentioned, but the lady who served me today made my whole day! She was full of honest suggestions, hilarious, as she trash talked the Steelers and Patriots, and was a ray of sunshine on an otherwise lackluster morning! Seriously, I would go back just to chat with her, she was that engaging! On to the food! I ordered the loaded fries and gobbler panini, both without bacon. They were very good! The sandwich was perfectly balanced, and generous in filling-I saved half for later. The fries were good, but most of them didn't have any of the toppings so I wished they had been a bit more generous with the toppings, or at least the pimento sauce. Now-the cookies. I might not have even tried the cookies had I not read a couple of Yelp reviews that they were really good, because I make excellent chocolate chip cookies myself and I'm really picky about ones that I eat. These were so delicious!! Like maybe top 3 of all time. They were perfectly baked too, with a higher than normal rise but no cakiness (the worst in a cookie) whatsoever! The other thing I wanted to point out was the way in which the owner responded to some of the less than complimentary reviews (of which there are only a few). He was apologetic, direct, provided some info about circumstances that may have contributed to the issue at hand but didn't make excuses. In a time where I've seen far more responses that bordered on, or actually were, very rude and dismissive, I think his attitude and receptiveness to criticism is very worthy. Living close to this business I woke up extra early to stop by on my way into work. I looked up the times they open and it states 7AM. Upon arriving to the cafe at 7AM they indeed were not open. I of course knew it was because we arrived right at opening so we stayed patient. Now here it is 7:15 and it still is not open. This is not a good first impression especially. read more

A hidden gem I found by accident through Yelp. When my partner and I go out for lunch we go to areas around this place but not close enough that we'd notice this place, even on Yelp. Buuuut on the particular day, Yelp thought we were somewhere that we were not...and so Farmacy showed up. The food was excellent! The BBQ chicken I had was tender, juicy, and flavorful. My partner loved her veggie wrap. And the fries are the brownish kind that you'd probably associate with the beach or a fair...very good. The inside is cute...bot very big but comfortable for a small lunch crowd. Looks like a lot of medical professionals come here since it's near Hospital Dr (where Franklin Square is), so that's the lunch crowd. Once you walk in, you're greeted by a very down to earth staff who is very welcoming and accommodating. The staff was great in accommodating my gluten craziness. I had a wonderful egg salad sandwich on gluten free toast with a side of fried green tomatoes. Did you ever have the neighbor who you were always excited to eat at their house because they did something a little special to a homemade recipe to take it to the next level. That's exactly how I felt here! Ben had the crab quesadilla with mushrooms along with a side of hand cut fries. It was devoured quite quickly.
