Wow, what a god send of a bakery! Don't underestimate this small shop there's a mighty team behind…read moreit you can tell every pastry and product is well thought out and made with care for ones with special dietary needs. Haven't tried their coffee yet wish they have more tables and chairs for people to hang out. I am so excited when I found out they make vegan, dairy free pastries. Double checked. No butter used. Everything is certified gluten free. They don't use run of the mill commercial grade high gluten flour. There's also paleo, keto options. Had my doubts. I thought I would not be a return customer when prices range from $7.50-$7.95 per pastry and $23.50 for a sourdough loaf and prices are not posted. Sticker shock. Well initially. The fact that I can actually enjoy this without worrying about my health I thought let's give it a go. My husband didn't feel inflamed like he would after eating a gluten filled pastry. Even better is it tasted so good! We couldn't believe it'd be even possible?! There's some amazing bakery chefs here! Our favorite after 2 visits are their vegan dairy free sea salt chocolate chunk cookie, their classic GF big choc chip cookie, vegan dairy free banana macadamia nut muffin, and my absolute favorite is their dairy free vegan sweet strawberry scone (with rhubarb, flax and coconut). I typically find scones to be bland and dry. Not these. Great flavor and texture. I changed my mind, I am willing to pay $7.95 per treat any day! On my second visit, they only had one left on day old scone for half price. Out of all fresh ones. Still tasted decent. In fact, that's a great deal! My only concern now is calories! Their sourdough is one of a kind. It's piping hot and available on a daily basis. Nobody offers gluten free artisan sourdough fresh out of the oven on a walk in basis. It stayed hot for hours after I brought it home because it was such a dense dough. When I think about how much more time and work went into these special loaves (not mass produced) and loaded with nutrition, the higher cost is worth it! The sourdough is super moist if you don't toast it there's almost a slight tacky feel to it. Once toasted, it is fantastic. This am, I enjoyed an open faced peanut butter and blackberry jam toast. We cannot be more happy to have a specialty bakery in town. Can't wait to return for more scones, cookies and sourdough when we run out!

I liked this place. It would be on my list of places to walk into when I am in the area. A variety…read moreof baked goods, drinks, offerings. Upon entering, i immediately noticed baked goods display and the drink menu. The case was filled with a bunch of interesting types of baked goods. On top of the rose cardamom latte, brioche tart and cardamom twist. We also got a savory scone and another item that escapes me. I enjoyed the savory scone the most. It had chives and bacon amongst other things. Great texture and not too dry. The brioche tart was a meal all on its own. Heavy and will put you to sleep. The cheese I think that was in there was gruyere but I could be wrong. I enjoyed it but definitely will splooge out if you down eat it on a plate with utensils. Eventually it does get monotonous for me. Recommend sharing it. Cardamom twist was the least favorite item. I'm not sure what it was but there was an essence of something in the background that threw the flavor off for me. I can't seem to describe it. The twist was slightly doughy/stodgy for me. Maybe part of an off batch. I typically do like cardamom centered things. This wasn't my favorite is all I can say. One suggestion I would hope gets implemented is cost of goods displayed for each item. I can say I was surprised at the total during check out. I do go to a lot of bakeries, cafes and artisanal shops. I always felt more at ease knowing what I was getting into from a financial standpoint. Tip is to look at their discounted items. They are a steal. They also have a rewards program that gets you a drink with every new sign up paired with a purchase I wish I had known prior to purchase as I was only able to spot signage at the register.

The cafe is located downstairs in the basement. During the olden days, it was a school house! Now the upstairs is a gym/basketball court. It's quite popular on the weekends! Saturdays are relatively a bit better than Sundays to come through. Expect to wait and people waiting. They sell honey, merch like t-shirts and sweaters, special seasoning and their famous enormous cinnamon rolls! Their menu encompasses breakfast favorites, omelettes and scrambles, along with pancakes, French toast and waffles. Some establishments serve pancakes with the entrees and saw that pancakes weren't an option, even a side! But since you get a lot of food already, it's understandable why pancakes wouldn't be included. My bf and I got the special! Since it's Easter tomorrow, we got the Easter Benedict! Holy moly -- this was a HIT! ** PLEASE make this again, it was delicious!!!** I got mine with the honey country ham while my bf had bacon. They were not skimpy on the meat, it was thick cut and generous. It had scrambled eggs on top with the most delicious amazing hollandaise sauce EVER! It also has tender asparagus at the bottom and the most AMAZING cornbread I've ever had!!! It came with country potatoes. Overall, this dish was DELICIOUS and DEFINITELY worth having again!!!! I got a side of biscuits and gravy. While the pepper gravy was good, I should've requested sausage gravy as that it so much more flavorful! My parents loved their omelettes. The staff is super friendly and rotates around to make sure you were taken cared of and providing more refills on coffee! We absolutely adored Rachel! Exceptional hospitality, service and demeanor!! Loved her!! Maltby tops breakfast and brunch places for me. Cannot wait to be back soon!

Lots of hype around this business so we finally decided to try it for ourselves. I know many people…read moreswear by this place, but let me give you my honest perspective. Food: There is nothing spectacular here unless you count the gigantic cinnamon rolls, which are quite delicious served warm at the table with so much icing it practically runs onto the table. The burger was very good and huge. Curry chicken was also a winner with lots of veggies, chicken in tasty curry sauce. Service: There was a waitlist upon arrival which did move rather quickly for the number of people already seated and a couple dozen waiting for a table. I am guessing that it is always busy so you may not see a server immediately. However, the service is quite friendly and not rushed by the seeming high energy of the restaurant. Heidi took time to listen carefully to our specific requests and delivered with grace and caring. Ambiance: I did mention the place was completely full, so the noise level was a bit daunting and I was glad when we left. Too much audio stimulation from people talking extra loudly just to be heard by others sitting right next to them. Overall, I would say this is an experience where you find large portions and a nice array of comfort type dishes. You should at least go once and see for yourself what the hype is all about. Turns out they will be moving into a brand new facility being built by the developer who is putting in major housing units. Hope they have a bit more space in the new place.

I would sit and chat with friends for a bit but this isn't a place I would bring my laptop to work. We arrived on a gloomy Sunday afternoon and they were pretty busy. There is one kiosk for self ordering and you can also order with an employee at the register. I order the Biscoff Matcha Latte with whipped cream and it was outrageously good. There was a perfect amount of Biscoff so it didn't overwhelm the matcha. I am usually afraid to try new drinks but I am glad I tried this. Considering how many drinks they had to make the wait wasn't bad and the staff was very friendly and smiled and said hello to everyone. I am looking forward to coming back for another drink. You should give this place a shot too.

Huge plaza area so there's ample parking. Fatbee Milk Tea w/ Boba - boba was decent. Chewy but not particularly flavorful, could be marinated longer. Tea was a classic house black tea with creamer. Tasted more on the dark side. Nothing special but satisfies a typical black milk tea craving. Taro Ube Freeze - a cup of creamy goodness. Blended extremely smooth and flavorful. Both the taro and ube nuttiness were shining and the coldness was soothing. Honestly such a refreshing and addicting drink, I snagged another one for the trip home. Highly recommend.
