Went here for the first time. I was greeted promptly and led to a booth. My server came over soon…read moreafter and got my drink order. I then ordered the Big Yumm which is a double pattie burger with lettuce, tomato and thousand Island dressing. It comes with an unlimited drink (I had unsweetened iced tea) and an unlimited side which could be fries, salad or broccoli. I chose the broccoli and asked that it be lightly steamed. It came out perfect. The burger was also good. Cut it in half as I thought that's all I'd eat, but I ate it all! My issues with the place were service and menu. My server brought my drink, I asked for a straw and when it never came, I walked to the bar to get one myself (where he was just talking to co-workers). My food came out soon, but he never checked on me at all to see if everything was ok or if I wanted refills of the 'unlimited' items. It was disheartening as he was nearby but always talking to co-workers instead of checking on me. This meal was a bargain, though, at $9.99. It's offered all day, every day. My issue with the menu was that the drinks, desserts, and specialty items like fancy milk shakes, had no prices listed. I hate asking my server for every price- but when I did ask for one or two items, he didn't know and had to go look them up. I think no prices on this menu is a discourtesy to the diner. The place was nicely decorated and very clean. It is conveniently located and has lots of parking.

Our food was delayed, but the staff apologized and explained that they were short-staffed. The restaurant is decorated with enough local representation as well as traditional Red Robin decorations. It's a good place to go if you're looking for lunch or dinner but can't decide what to have.

Honestly, it's a neighborhood Friendly's in the middle of nowhere PA -- no offense to the locals, I…read moremean that super respectfully -- and our experience was great! We got exactly what we came for and had no over-the-top expectations. The food was good, it came out fast, and the service was beyond friendly from every staff member we interacted with. Our server was super nice, made sure we were taken care of, and checked in on us from time to time without being overbearing. We ordered the fried pickles and a few meals. My kids weren't that hungry, so they had smaller meals. My husband and I both got the fish and chips -- mine with onion rings and his with mac & cheese. Again, it's a neighborhood Friendly's. I genuinely don't know what some people are expecting. I also have to mention something we witnessed while we were there today. Another customer was completely out of his mind and was treating one of the employees absolutely disgustingly for seemingly no reason whatsoever. I was shocked by the entire interaction, but even more shocked by how well the Friendly's employee handled it. They remained calm and composed throughout the entire situation despite how disrespectfully they were being treated. It was honestly insane to sit there and witness and hear. Afterward, the employee even apologized to my family and me for having to witness the whole thing -- when THEY were the one who had just been treated horribly! That alone says a lot about the staff here. The restaurant itself has that old-fashioned, colorful diner-style Friendly's look. It was also very clean. Would I come back? Absolutely. For a quick, casual bite, I'd come back again. Next time I'd probably keep it simple with a grilled cheese and 100% get those fried pickles again because they were delicious AF!

I explained to him that no such comments were made, but he refused to hear me out. I got the phone number of the owner , and called it. She didn't want to talk to me. She turned out to be a real bitch. I'm now going to corporate to submit an official complaint against that restaurant. Imagine if you will , you go to a restaurant, and they do t want you there. I recommend people to go to DQ across the street. They treat a customer much better. The server of this restaurant made fictitious complaints on me based on race. I might speak politically, but on a mild level. I'm going to see that people choose a different restaurant. I do not recommend Friendlys to anyone at all.
