When Hazel Eye Center opened up we made the switch. First, the facility is bright and open with a few seats in a waiting area and a wall of eye glass frames. The staff here are very friendly. On our first visit we filled out the necessary information on a tablet and received a very thorough examination. My spouse and I went into the exam room together and took turns in the chair. Dr. Hazelton is very friendly and we actually enjoyed the exam. She recommended a new contact lens for me and gave a sample to try. They work well and I am happy with them. She also updated my eye glasses prescription and I purchased a new set of frames and lenses through her. They are not cheap, but as they are a designer label, they wouldn't be and my lenses are always expensive based on my prescription. This is not a surprise cost and I really like the frames. Dr. Hazelton took time to personally help me find frames I would be happy with after I told her I felt pressured into the old pair and never like the way I look in them. We have called them with questions and stopped in to pick up orders and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. They are a small business and sometimes we have to leave a message or wait for staff to come out of the exam room which we understand and don't mind. We are happy with our change of eye doctor.
