This family owned establishment offers so much. First hand you are greeted with the most friendly southern "Welcome y'all"! Friendly and patient staff is always a great start. The place is cute, think if a southern tea time deli. Lots of local patrons. Food was good too. ATS sandwich on sweet white sourdough came with turkey, avocado, lettuce, tomato, cheese and Mayo. Soft bread, fresh produce and juicy turkey made this one a winner. Someone told me they had the best potato salad in the state... I don't know about all of that BUT theirs is pretty solid and I would definitely give it another try.

I first came to this deli when it opened 4 years ago. Took a chance and tried the Power Bowl! I still remember how much I loved it then and still do now!! You walk in and are greeted with a smile from the staff at the counter. It is very bright and colorful inside! You order at the counter. Menus can be found on the stand on the left. They offer tons of options from sandwiches, pitas, soups, salads, paninis, quiche, wraps, and bowls!!! They have a daily soup that is served everyday. Monday- broccoli cheese, Tuesday- Tomato Basil, Wednesday- Baked Potato, Thursday- Tortilla, Friday- Chicken Enchilada. I am obsessed with the Falafel Power Bowl!!! Quinoa, 3 bean salad, lettuce, avocado, falafel, and green side dressing!!! It is the best lunch I've ever had!! The dressing is spicy and delicious!!! Overall this deli has a huge selection of healthy options for breakfast or lunch!! Make sure you stop in and give them a try!!! You will NOT be disappointed!!

Passing through Huntsville at lunchtime and decided to visit a favored spot. We enjoyed our lunch at Five Loaves last time and this trip did not disappoint us. We had not trouble parking since the restaurant shares a large lot with other businesses. Ordering at the window, we both ordered deli sandwiches with turkey and Swiss cheese on wheat bread. We shared a pasta salad. Sandwiches were very good as was the pasta salad. Restaurant was clean and seating was at a premium since lunchtime was very busy. We found a high-top table for two by the window that was nice. Our food was delivered by the kitchen staff. Self service tea was as good as one would expect. Overall it was a nice lunch stop and soon we were on our way. I posted a copy of the menu for your dining pleasure. Bon appetit!

Food is so freaking good. College staple, been going strong for 14 years. Country home cooking, so delicious. What are you doing, stop reading and go already.

If you're visiting Huntsville TX or go to Sam Houston State University, eat at five loaves! This is my favorite restaurant in Huntsville. They are a deli and close at 3-4 pm weekly, closed Sunday. Why are they the best? They: -Serve breakfast -Have Wifi -Bake fresh bread -Have a large menu -affordable half order portion options -Have HEALTHY food and comfort food! -vegan, keto, vegetarian options -superfoods like chia pudding & alfalfa sprouts! -have a sweet and welcoming staff that remember your name ! Pay Five Loaves a visit and enjoy lunch with a friend or an early solo breakfast. You won't regret it!! (Be mindful they do have a lunch rush sometimes!)

Walk up counter service with a menu split neatly into cold cut and oven baked sandwiches. Going with the Devito, my mind was thoroughly blown by how flavorful the red sauce and meats were all together, it had a combination of textures from the crusty bread cured cuts that made it fun to chew through every bite. My Stallone was also just such a pleasant mix of flavor with the pesto playing a bigger role on the cold cut options. This is one of the places where I feel like you can spin the wheel and get a winner with whatever fate decides. Things seem pretty easy and affordable here. Portions were pretty big here and around $12-$15 a sandwich, more than enough for a single person with some for a midnight snack later. There's a good bit of seating inside with some red gingham table clothes to eat over. It's worth the visit if your in Montgomery or after a day on the Lake!

My only disappointment was that the menu described it as coming on a crusty Italian roll, but the bread was soft with no crunch. A true crusty roll would have taken it from great to outstanding. The girl at the counter recommended getting the hot peppers so I got some on the side, and she was absolutely right--I'll definitely be adding those to future sandwiches. My husband ordered the Danza but accidentally received the Dinero. He still enjoyed it and gave it a solid 7/10. We also tried the Chicken Parmesan. It had good flavor, though it was a little too bread-heavy for my taste. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, and the portions were more than generous. We'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the menu.

The service is always great, the people are well trained and are pleasant to deal with. Ambiance, what ambiance? It's a great place to go get your sandwich and we take it home to eat and watch TV. For a place that has been voted the #1 restaurant in America before, it was a lovely experience! This location is a little over 30 mins away from me, which is beyond the distance I'm willing to drive for a meal in the middle of the week, but as it was my birthday week I decided to treat myself. And I am so glad that I did. I can say that everything about the experience eating here was pleasant. For one the fact that I arrived here after 7pm and they close at 8pm, yet there was a steady influx of customers speaks to just how popular they are. There was one person in line behind me and I felt bad for them a little because I knew I was going to ask a bunch of questions because I've been looking forward to coming here and it is out the way so I was going to ask the right questions to make sure I got something I liked. With that being said, the man taking my order was very helpful and patient. I know I took at least 5 mins to order yet he was cool answering all of the questions I had. I generally hate when the kiosk asks if I'd like to tip when I'm not dealing with a waiter but the service he provided paired with the amount of questions I had led me to leave a tip. Again I had to drive a distance to eat here so I went in knowing that I was going to be ordering food to eat there as well as being able to bring some home, because there is no telling when the next time will be that I want to make the trek. To keep things balanced, I ordered a cold and a hot sandwich. I went with a build your own for the cold sandwich and went with turkey and roast beef for meats, deli provolone for cheese, spring lettuce, roasted red peppers, red onion, olive smear and house marinated pepper blend for toppings, sub oil, spicy deli mustard and basil pesto (on the side) for extras, all on a crusty Italian roll for the bread. For the hot sandwich I went with the chicken parm and added light red onions to it. I also made my first sandwich a combo with chips and a drink. They serve Pepsi products for the fountain drinks and Zapp's products for the chips. One pet peeve I do have with places is that when I order an additional meat and don't feel like I got extra but instead just less of my other meat to make up for my extra. That is how I feel about the pastrami that I had added to my cold sandwich. Both sandwiches were really good. I wouldn't say that they were the best sandwiches I've ever had but they were solid. The cold sandwich was my creation so take that as you will. The flavors on it was all good, but nothing shooting over the moon to me. All of the food on the sandwich looked and tasted fresh. The hot sandwich is one of theirs with a slight add from me and it again was good but the flavor didn't just jump out for me. Making a chicken parm exceptional takes some work so I'm not mad at what they serve and it is cooked and served with an excellent broil on it. The bread on both sandwiches I will say was a stand out because it held up and had a good crust and chew while still being soft. I will say that I wasn't able to try many of their menu favorites because I don't eat pork, so some of those may be even more delicious. No complaints on any of the flavor but wouldn't have been made at a few more unctuous notes to the palate. I also got the cannoli which was cool. Nothing significant but I'm not mad that I got it. I would also like to note that the bathroom is kept very nice and smells well. I'm 90% sure that someone was blowing up the toilet before I went in yet it didn't stink when I went in. Not sure if they just sprayed a lot or the upkeep but either way kudos. I generally would've gotten food like this to go, but given the distance and that I wanted to get as fresh of a food experience as I can I did dine in. Getting there at the end of the day I was there as they were closing up. As they closed up the staff kept a respectable distance from me as I ate as to not disturb my food with the cleaning. Now that I've eaten here I can honestly say that I get why it has so much hype. Though I wasn't wowed by the food I was wowed by the service and the food was delicious. I'm not sure of when I'll next make the trip here but I do know that I'll feel confident that it will be a meal well enjoyed when I do. Thought I posted this review lol so I'll add to it since I returned again. Again great service and delicious food. The food here is so good and the location is so out of the way that both times I've gone I've left with 2 sandwiches for myself. I again got a Chicken Parm in all of it's deliciousness but this time made my cold BYO sandwich into a hot one and OMG was it banging! This place serves up deliciousness with ease.

I had a few basic questions about their products and pricing, and it felt like I was inconveniencing the staff just by asking. There was little effort to explain options or provide recommendations. The store itself also seemed disorganized and not as clean as I would expect from a meat market. The display cases didn't look well-maintained, and some products appeared poorly labeled, making it hard to tell what I was purchasing. On top of that, the pricing didn't reflect the level of quality or service provided. I expected better overall professionalism and attention to detail. Based on this visit, I wouldn't return or recommend it to others unless significant improvements are made in customer service and store upkeep.
