This is such a popular spot! I do enjoy the coffee here, but I wish they would carry almond milk. Their old milk alternative is oat milk and I know folks love it, but it's not my favorite. I also wish there were more savory breakfast options that weren't pork. I guess I wish there was more inclusivity in the menu. I have a lot of Muslim friends and friends like me who struggle with lactose issues, and I never bring my Muslim friends here because the food options are very limiting compared to some of the other local shops. That said-if you just want coffee in a large space where you can hide among a lot of people, this spot is great. The staff are really nice and they are helpful. I work from a co-working space a few blocks over from Doubleshot, so I do find myself here quite often, but specifically for the coffee and ability to fall into a place where I can hide among the tons of folks who are there. If you don't like big groups or want a more intimate space to chat over coffee, mornings at Doubleshot tend to be busy and the store stays pretty packed. read more

This place is amazing!! Not only is the aesthetic on point with a mixture of wood tones and clean whites, but it has such a cozy yet refined atmosphere. If I lived in Tulsa, I would definitely come to this place more often to get work done or to meet with friends. Highlights - Again the aesthetic is beautiful, and there are so many seating options - upstairs, downstairs, small vs large group tables, sofas, bar stool type chairs, etc. I loved the variety. We went on the Fourth, and it was busy, but there were still plenty of free spots and empty nooks. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk, and the quality was top notch. I don't drink coffee often, but when I do, I like to get good coffee, and this place definitely has good quality coffee. They also have some pastries, sandwiches, ice cream, cinnamon rolls, wine, etc. They roast their own beans too!! Downside - I paid around $7 for a small iced latte. Although it was really good, I wish it was a little more affordable, given I just got a latte, not a mocha or any speciality drink, and I also didn't add any syrup! Also heads up, they don't have decaf coffee options here, for anyone else who is also super sensitive to caffeine. You can ask for a single shot, instead of a double though. Meanwhile a sweet barista one register down calls me over. Her name is Adriana and she is sweet and helpful, digging out a tired but useful menu. It is regular coffee selection, so I ordered an Iced Dirty Chai Latte. They don't have chai. THEY DONT HAVE CHAI. Sweet Adriana comes up with a brown sugar iced latte and I say sure. She asks me to wait for a second while she gets my food. The B appears again. Although there is no one behind me, she commands me to step aside. Hold up. Am I in a war camp or a customer at a coffee shop?? I move down. Not far enough. She barks at me to move further and further away. The good: Impressive coffee (strong and smooth) and inviting places to sit with good combination of sofas and tables + chairs. The bad: paltry milk choices: toxic oat and whole milk and that's all! They even sell the oat milk like it's something to celebrate. Oat milk is the most toxic of all alternatives. Also, food choices are lacking healthy choices. I'm not a big coffee drinker (definitely don't need- or want- it every day), but I enjoy meeting friends at coffee shops every once in a while. Because I don't have caffeine very often, when I drink coffee, I do find that it affects me more than probably the "average" person. And so, with that said (for context for anyone reading this I guess), I say... wow, this place has some strong coffee!!! I ordered a 16oz latte. The other option I think was 12oz. It's interesting because with a hot latte these were the size options, but with the iced latte, the 16oz was the smaller size choice. Not sure why? Maybe because the ice fills up some of that space? That'd be my guess at least. Anyway, the 16oz was plenty big for me! They only had two flavoring options: chocolate and something that they call "panela", which was explained to me as a house-made flavor that's kind of sugary/ molasses-y/ a little caramel-ish. It sounded interesting but I decided to go with chocolate. When my order was called they called it a mocha, which I though was something separate from just a chocolate latte but oh well, I'm not super well-versed in coffee lingo! It was good. Not too sugary but also not too bitter. I really feel like it was right in the middle. At first few sips I thought I was gonna need to add sugar, but that ended up not being true. The only thing was I wish it was hotter. I asked if they could microwave it for just like 20 seconds or so, but was told they weren't allowed to reheat drinks because of health codes? They offered that they could remake me one (I think because I had barely had any yet) but I didn't feel like it was that big of a deal to me to ask them to do that. Really love the atmosphere at DoubleShot too. It reminds me of like a cabin in the woods in a lot of ways, which I think is cool. Definitely different from the more stereotypical coffee shop vibe (which I'm not always a fan of those more hipster type places). I also think it's super cool that they have an upstairs! I love a good coffee shop and atmosphere. This is a cute coffee shop, but the coffee was honestly terrible and the worst I've ever had. I couldn't even drink it. It was bitter and tasted burnt. The milk was curdled as well. My husband got the iced breve and I got the iced latte- both were undrinkable. It's a mixed review from me: great setting & tasty coffee but unwelcoming and rude staff. The inhospitable nature of these employees seems to be a frequent customer complaint judging by the last five Yelp reviews. The male baristas, with the rugged & edgy look and slick black hair don't do a great job at making one feel welcome. It must be improved or the bitter taste in customer mouths will remain. There is no service here, you do most of the work which includes collecting your coffee and cleaning your table. My biggest regret is tipping $3, still keeps me up at night. I'll be back but I won't be tipping, and if I get the same level of service as last time, I won't be shy to have a word with the manager. read more

I would consider myself a coffee snob and am particular about my coffee. That being said, my latte was just okay here. Espresso was strong which is what I prefer, but they used a lot of milk to coffee ratio and flavor was just okay. They only had three coffee syrups, and one was their house syrup which when I asked to be explained what it was, the barista acted annoyed. I would have left a four star review probably for the latte itself if the customer service was good. However, the customer service here was terrible. I had never been here before. No menu on display and the barista acted like I was doing a disservice to her by asking for a menu. Also, they don't have chai which is what my husband typically orders. Drake likes coffee, and a nice little spot to sit down and drink it. I met my special lady here to study. Upon walking in I enjoyed the vibes and the multiple nooks to create your own little ambiance. The experience took a quick turn when I went to order. I walked up, the very nice barista asked me what I wanted, " I'll have an iced vanilla latte!" I was immediately sent into a free fall to what I assumed was hell. After landing, I noticed a man in front of me and asked him why I was there. He replied " We don't have vanilla, we have Panela." After serving my time for my sin, and I was released, it felt like years but no time had passed after I stepped back into reality. I found myself back at the same moment, I heard those words " What would you like to order." A chill went down my spine. I replied " Could I have an iced Panela latte?" The tension in those few milliseconds was palpable. Finally she replies " Yes! We'll have that right out!" My journey was over. Needed a location for some work time between meetings and some good caffeine. This place was perfect. It's a large building with a lot of separated spaces and good Wi-Fi. Perfect for doing some computer work and a few phone calls to customers. As I said, the location was large, but even with a several customers doing work there, it was quiet enough to have phone calls without too much background noise.Their counter service was spot on and the coffee was great. Came here while I was visiting in Tulsa with friends on their recommendation. The coffee in my opinion was really good, but there wasn't a menu to order off of, which was somewhat odd at first. The coffee shop is really cool as it is two stories and has a lot of open seating, even when the shop gets busy. The service was quick on the coffee we ordered and the pastry was heated quickly as well. The staff could have been a tad more kind, but we did come in on a really busy morning. It was my first visit here so I was pretty clueless on the process. I didn't see a menu anywhere and asked for a chai tea latte. The guy told me they don't serve tea and recommended something similar. I ordered it to-go and hung out near the counter. This is exactly what I want from a downtown coffee house!! Its a HUGE location with lots of room for seating whether you are alone or with a group. It even has seating upstairs! This being a coffee house though lets talk sbout the coffee! It is delicious!! I like the simple menu and love how what they serve is all prepared in house. Its a little out side of downtown so its not within walking distance of the towers but close enough for a scooter ride! Looked up this place as I am visiting town on personal business and wanted an upscale coffee experience. It was basically a fail. I'm not giving them one star because the owner was polite and the blueberry muffin was amazing. But there were several problems and it just wasn't worth the money we spent. First, there was no welcome when we came in, though many workers were toiling away. Second, it was clear that unless one has been here before, you don't really know what they offer other than coffee and the treats in the display case. So you have to play 20 Questions. So, not wanting to slow things down, we just got an Americano and a regular coffee, some treats, and an upscale chocolate bar (the shop's brand) as a gift for someone back home. Third, then, much to our great disappointment, we find out they had NO HALF N HALF, nor any cream! Just milk - which they offered to SELL us. (!) I travel internationally and have business throughout the country. I've never encountered a coffee shop that charges you to put milk in it. Let alone one that would sell you coffee . . . and then ask you to pay if you want creamer. We asked for a refund, whereupon the manager came out and made nice. She offered some "really thick" local milk for free and so we rolled with it. It was just milk, however locally sourced. But whatever, we didn't want our coffee to go cold. They really need to put up some signs. First, some signage to let people know what they they are offering. Second, signage about their bizarre "pay for your creamer" policy. Third, when they are out of cream and/or half-n-half, they need to put up a warning sign about that. At the end of the day, too, the coffee really wasn't that good. We had much better at a little Ecuadoran street food place we had brunch at earlier in the day. But I'm a coffee snob and I'm sure some like their coffee. Almost everyone in the place was college-aged, though, so I think the business runs more on image and location rather than what we were looking for. So if you are looking for a quality, urban coffee experience, I think it's best to try elsewhere. I know we will next time we are in Tulsa. read more
