Fantastic hotel!!! I booked a king suite with balcony. The balcony is huge and completely enclosed Which I love! the room is clean and very large with a separate living area. I'm disappointed We are only staying one night. They also offer you a warm chocolate chip oatmeal cookie upon check-in, which was delicious. I would recommend staying here front desk Staff was friendly and quick. Staff around the hotel is also very friendly. Edith at the front desk is so nice. Also she informed me if you call the morning you are checking in and tell them you want to use the pool you can ask them to turn the heater to the pool on and they will

Stayed here the other night and it was a decent experience. Booked direct and was able to check-in online via the Hilton app with a digital key. The entrance to the hotel felt unmarked at night. The entrance to the hotel was next to the Chevron gas station?!? Parking felt limited with a dozen or so dedicated spaces in front of the property, another dozen spaces in the garage, and another half dozen spaces on the upper level of the garage and lower level of the garage... There was plexiglass in front of the front desk agent. I was able to see the front desk agent's facial expression when walking through the lobby. The room itself was very large and pretty quiet, considering that the property is right in front of the 57. I was able to hear my neighbor next door unzip their luggage though... The ceiling HVAC unit behind the room door was very noisy, despite the property being recently remodeled. The shower had decent water pressure and warm water. The towels were pretty thick and the toiletries were on brand and good quality. The TV had numerous premium channels and Wifi was free for booking direct. The mattress was in decent shape.

Rooms are clean. WiFi is speedy and never cuts out. Spacious rooms with decent sized bathrooms. Despite this hotel being located right next to the freeway, it's a pretty quiet property. They have covered and uncovered parking. Parking is free. I've stayed here on two occasions and never had any issues. Staff is friendly.

However, it doesn't give the sense that it's on a college campus at all. Service overall here is great and they were very friendly at check-in. They were quick to tell me to make sure I did not pay for parking even though it said to in the small parking garage as that's included in the actual hotel rate. The room itself is quiet and comfortable, and I didn't notice much if any sound from others around me. I would say that the lobby and bar/dining area. Do get fairly busy in the evening and seemed pretty full at breakfast as well but that just must mean that the food and drinks are good. I personally didn't get a chance to try them but based on the traffic, I'll say it's worth go. The one downside of this location is that when you are leaving, you can't actually exit directly onto the street. You wanna get out on. You have to go out the front parking lot turn right and then pull a U-turn to get back onto the road. It's a minor inconvenience, but one that you aren't expecting the first time you leave and then just have to remember to factor in an extra few minutes if you're in a rush somewhere. Overall, I think this is a great option for staying in the area and one that I will definitely be utilizing again when travels take me back this way.

A huge water feature on the atrium's ground floor relaxes guests during their phenomenal complimentary breakfast. And our small balcony provided views of the Puente Hills as a backdrop behind Brea's Birch Street. Despite being a 36-year-old hotel, it's been modernized and updated quite nicely. The pool is surrounded by trees and very private. The rooms are incredibly quiet. Maybe the only downside is that guests have to pay a daily rate for parking a car in the garage beneath the hotel. You'd think this would be included in the rather steep price we paid for a corner suite, or at least for us Hilton Honors loyalty members for nearly 20 years now! So, my experience with Hilton and this property is vast. This property a few years ago did go through an upgrade to the front entrance, lobby, front desk area, and the main dining area that is beyond the lobby. The remodel or update though done a few years back is excellent. It is very inviting and exactly what you would expect from a Hilton Embassy Suites property. Devin and the front desk team are exceptional! Prompt, professional, and very customer service oriented. Beyond those two notable items in which this property shines, it falls off a steep cliff after that! The rooms are dated. They are dingy. They are marked up, beat up and rusted in various parts of the rooms (or at least the ones I have stayed in). Some of the rooms have drawers that do not close so they are open. Some of the phones do not work int he rooms. Lamp fixtures are crooked because they are old and just beat up. There are stains on sofa's, walls, counter tops, etc. In the shower, there are yellow rust stains and cracks throughout. Toilet paper simply doesn't stay on the bar so it's often rolling off and onto the floor. Housekeeping is lack luster. Trying to get a room that has the adequate towels, wash clothes, coffee, etc. is almost comical at this point. The parking garage which they now charge for is consistent with other Hilton properties, but the issue is it's old. I am not sure who owns the garage as the salon next door uses it as well. The spaces are narrow. Trash builds up in the cans. Lots of areas taped off. Some cracks and pipes that have either leaked or previously caused damage. While it is a park at your own risk, I would expect Hilton to have these issues fixed to be a better space for their guests who do need to park there. The property is in a great location for restaurants, nightlife, shopping etc. It's just gotten to the point that Hilton needs to overhaul the rooms and garage at this point. Staying at a Hampton Inn these days, trumps this property and that is just sad.

When I arrived, everything seemed normal; I paid, and I immediately received a notification confirming the charge. However, the man at the front desk told me to swipe my card again, claiming it appeared as declined. I pointed out that this was impossible, as I had just received a notification from my bank. He claimed it was merely to ensure that everything was in order--but that was a lie. He processed two separate charges that night, totaling $600. I confronted him, asking why he had charged me twice. He then spoke with his manager a woman named MISHEL who behaved in a rude and abrasive manner, stating, "That is your bank's problem; there is nothing we can do." I spent over 40 minutes at the front desk trying to check in and get them to resolve a double charge that had been applied to my credit card. I didn't want to keep arguing, so I simply asked to be given a room. Upon reaching the room, I found it was dirty and had a leak. I requested a room change, and it took them another 10 minutes to arrange it; then, in the new room they assigned me, the keys didn't work. By that point, I was thoroughly annoyed; I had spent nearly an hour and a half just trying to get checked in at that place. I really do not recommend staying there; they have very rude staff, and their manager on duty is inefficient.

But let's be fair and start with the good stuff: my queen room was pretty damn spacious with comfy bedding and a nice lay out, especially for the rate I paid (we'll get to the caveats that go with that later). Secondly, check in was easy, prompt and friendly, and the lobby --- although it looks like it's straight out of 1985 --- was fairly large and inviting. Three, is the free breakfast that comes with. Value added right there for sure. There's also a pool, which again, is nothing to sneeze at for the price. Parking is fairly plentiful and there's a bunch of eateries and big box stores nearby. Now the bad-- I entered my room, turn on the light switch and... nothing. The other lights worked fine - except for inside the shower, which was pretty dim. Also the shower head height is sized for a small child. I mean come on. As for the elevator lighting? Yup, half of those were also burned out. Fitness room: Yes there is one, but it's fairly useless; the machines are either super basic or they don't work at all. Plus no cups at the water station. Room decor? Again, serviceable, but straight outta 1985, which is probably the last time it saw any updates. Also, at the time of my check in there was cleaning crew vacuuming out the empty rooms and hallway carpet, I guess it was maintenance. But the whole place stank with that ammonia cleaner smell and they had fans going for hours. Not a good first impression. If you just want a basic place to lay your head and good value for the money, you should be fine. Borderline 2 stars in my book but I'll give them 3 for the comfy bedding. It honestly reminds me of walking into an upscale Las Vegas resort. The lobby is elegant, there's a beautiful bar, a well-equipped fitness center, and a gorgeous pool area. We spent some time at the heated pool and jacuzzi, and it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. The jacuzzi even has water features flowing into it, making it feel like a true luxury resort. The rooms are just as impressive. They're modern, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. The carpet was so soft, the bathroom was beautiful, and the entire room felt clean, relaxing, and upscale. Now, here's the decision I had to make. I could have booked a theme park view room where you can see Disney California Adventure and the fireworks from your balcony. But instead, I chose a resort-view room because I really wanted to experience the hotel's rooftop restaurant, Rise. And I'm so glad I did. When we checked in, they were able to get us a reservation for 8:30 p.m. The restaurant is reservation-only, so I definitely recommend planning ahead if you can. We arrived just before sunset, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The rooftop has glass panels all around, so you have an unobstructed view of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure while you're enjoying dinner. Then, at 9:30, the fireworks started. Watching the sunset fade into the Disney fireworks while enjoying dinner on the rooftop was honestly one of the most magical experiences of the trip. It was worth every penny. So if you're celebrating something special, planning a romantic getaway, or just want to treat yourself to a luxury Disneyland experience, The Westin Anaheim is an incredible choice. It's definitely a splurge--but if you're looking to feel a little bougie, relax in luxury, and create an unforgettable Disney memory, you won't regret staying here.

By the time we got back we just needed to get cleaned up and fall into bed. Speaking of which, the bed was...okay. Not the most comfortable, of course, but at least we got a decent night's sleep. I think the thing that kept it from being a great night's sleep was the room's temperature. We were never quite able to get it to be the perfect feel, and when the air did kick on, it was just loud. The water pressure in the shower was nice, and the shower itself was a good size. I liked having the separate "sitting area" at the front of the room, even though we didn't really lounge, as mentioned above. I would say that this isn't the most conveniently-located hotel. Still, it was okay for the one night we were there, and we knew what we were getting when we booked.

The employees were friendly... and the hotel was clean... lobby has been updated... nice weight…read moreroom... but spectrum was down and we were not informed of this at check-in... we found out when we returned from dinner... the towels need updating.... very thin & rough to the touch.... Could use towel rack so towels don't end up on the floor... It's also near the freeway (traffic) and you can hear the train... Plenty of parking.. breakfast was decent...
