Booked the hotel as we are visiting Disneyland which is about 5 miles. Wasn't expecting much other than a decent place to sleep. But I felt it's well worth for its price. Rooms are decent and bed is comfortable. Bathrooms are a little outdated. Special mention about breakfast. Lots of items (waffles, bagels, egg scramble, potatoes, yogurt, juice, coffee, cereal, oats, hot chocolate, fruits). This is way beyond what one can expect especially for such a good price. Parking is free and have a lot of spaces. Service is good at breakfast and housekeeping is up to date everyday. Will definitely stay again if I'm ever in that area

A basic hotel. Rooms are comfortable, beds ok but if your looking to get high, just walk out to the hallway and take a deep breath. I'm pretty sure I got a contact buzz just walking to my room. This was a last minute planned stay. I was working in Orange County this evening and need to be at another site a few miles away from this hotel so my stay is based on convince. As i sit on my bed to type this out, the hallway fumes seem to be making there way into my room. I guess ill be sleeping real well tonight. Would I stay here again? Likely not.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! This place was so disgusting. We literally checked into the room and checked right back out. The room was dirty and unclean. Stains everywhere! When I confronted the hotel, manager, and corporate they said they would issue a refund but almost a month later no refund. DO NOT STAY HERE!

BED BUGS and Syringes!!! Beware! Found bed bugs and an exposed needle from a used syringe. We told the front desk worker Nate, who informed his manager Teo about it and he did nothing to help us get a new room or a refund so we could possibly stay elsewhere. I am a magic key holder so I try to visit Disneyland as much as possible and have stayed at just about all of the discount hotels in the area. This one is by far the worst. When we got into our room we noticed it had not been cleaned. There was hair on the pillows, the carpet did not look vacuumed, and the shower had obvious mold everywhere. There was people hanging around outside all night, being loud with drinking and partying. Not a place I would ever want to take my children back to ever again!

I got this hotel on Hotwire.com (where it had like a 90% approval rating) for only $100 after taxes and it was excellent. Most of the hotels in the area are more like $130 for questionable quality. Pluses: 1) Very clean room that wasn't too outdated 2) Refrigerator and microwave in room 3) Very clean bathroom in working order 4) Very short walk to the bus line that goes straight to Honda Center 5) A 17-min drive to Disneyland. It's on the border of Placentia and Anaheim and a short drive to downtown Fullerton/CSUF also. 6) Friendly staff 7) The free continental breakfast had eggs and sausage, oatmeal, pour your own freshly made waffles, cereal, coffee, juices. It had a conveyor belt toaster too to warm your English muffins, but please don't put a danish on there -- it almost caused a fire when we were there by an unscrupulous guest who lied to the staff that he had started it. The woman who staffed the breakfast was super hilarious about having to put out the almost-fire! 8) Free and plentiful parking 9) Extremely quiet room and comfortable bed 10) Free, working wifi Negative: 1) Pool was very dirty inside with green stuff on the sides underneath the water. Probably not a problem for most visitors, but I definitely noticed because I was looking forward to the pool. Pool area had towels, which was great. 2) I inspected with a flashlight and there were no bugs other than a jumping flea we noticed; other than that very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Just had a great check-in experience with Vincent the front desk employee! Great attitude, genuinely showed effort and concern for me the customer, and although he could have not accommodate me with the room I requested, he offered to other options and did so in a positive manner. He also took the time to run a needed item to a room, which is fantastic follow up and customer care I have not seen previously at this establishment. I have stayed here many, many times and tonight was the first time I was greeted with such a great attitude, someone with patience, and an employee showing attention to detail, patience as it till me a minute or two to find my credit card, and respectful communication. I would give five stars to this employee! Oh yes, and location is good, price is very reasonable, and the area is safe in and around this hotel ! Safe travels!

    No where near red!

if I could give this place, zero stars, I would. I have been staying at this hotel almost every weekend for the past few months no issues no problems. The rooms are not that great. The service really isn't that great and the breakfast isn't that great the lady serving waffles is very nice, but I never complained. I stayed there over the weekend and as I was leaving, I was walking on the sidewalk to go to my car. I had my baby in the stroller, a suitcase, his baby bed, a backpack and my hands full of groceries trying to push so we can go to the car , one of the cleaning ladies carts was blocking the sidewalk. I waited for her to move her cart. Nobody came out of the room, so I pushed it over to the side, slightly enough room for the stroller, and myself to squeeze through. She came running out of the room, all of a sudden screaming at me in Spanish saying what the hell do you think you're doing? You cannot touch this you could've pushed it into the street and it could've hit a car. You cannot move this. i'm assuming because I look white that she didn't think I could understand what she was saying and how rude it was, but I am Mexican and I did understand so I responded your cart should not be in the way of the walkway. I tried waiting for you to come out and nobody came out so I moved it over so me and my baby can go to our car and leave, she shook her head and mumbled something in Spanish probably cursing me out I don't doubt it and then I walked away and went about my business. A day later my bank says I have an extra $150 charge from the hotel on my card I called and asked the man at the front desk who claimed to be the manager. He said he would look into it , I called him and expressed him how I've never had any issues never complained. I explain to him what happened with the maid and I also explain to him that I am very noticeable with my hair color and my tattoos. I don't know if it's because the maid got mad that all of a sudden I have a charge on my room , I did not tell him my hair color for a reason because I wanted to know what color they were going to say the stain was he responded well the comforter had a stain on it and it looks like red hair coloring. I explain to them my hair is not red not only that hair coloring doesn't just come off. I'm a hairdresser. I know how to dye my hair and I use expensive hair coloring. My hair is pink , not anywhere near red. It's a nice soft, light pink. I asked him OK if there's a stain on the comforter, then why isn't there a stain on the pillow because my head with my hair lays down on the pillow he explained to me while he was stuttering I don't know , I asked him how do you know that it's hair coloring how can you specifically say that and he stuttered again and said well I've seen that stain before and it doesn't wash out. I explain to him I'm a hairdresser if I saw a red stain on a comforter I wouldn't immediately think it's hair coloring . he told me because of that I am no longer allowed to stay there. I asked to speak to the manager and he laughed at me and expressed that he was the manager when I tried to ask him again why there's not stains on the pillows but on the comforter, and how that makes no sense he began to speak over me and disregard my question he was extremely rude, this is not a place I would recommend staying it's not nice I stayed there purely for convenience and to get points. I'm a fairly laid-back person and doesn't yelp. In fact I've never left a review, but I am so mad that they did this to me knowing damn well that they're lying and now taking money from me be careful staying there because they will lie and they will say that you messed up the room and then they'll tell you your shit out of luck and hang up the phone on you .

The guests here are not savages even tho they might have their own odd hours/agenda. Folks have been very respectful by Southern California standards, too. My fellow guests have been quirky yet very nice. The staff has been nothing but courteous. Of course this place uses those funny keycards that are easy to break with anything magnetic or phone-related, but even tho I manage to break my keycard every 2-3 days, the staff has always been super-nice and ready to replace it. Having been here for some time and talking to fellow guests during that time, I can only conclude that this place is phenomenal for the money. It's so nice to be around nice folks, as a Northern Cali guy, this is important!

When I arrived, everything seemed normal; I paid, and I immediately received a notification confirming the charge. However, the man at the front desk told me to swipe my card again, claiming it appeared as declined. I pointed out that this was impossible, as I had just received a notification from my bank. He claimed it was merely to ensure that everything was in order--but that was a lie. He processed two separate charges that night, totaling $600. I confronted him, asking why he had charged me twice. He then spoke with his manager a woman named MISHEL who behaved in a rude and abrasive manner, stating, "That is your bank's problem; there is nothing we can do." I spent over 40 minutes at the front desk trying to check in and get them to resolve a double charge that had been applied to my credit card. I didn't want to keep arguing, so I simply asked to be given a room. Upon reaching the room, I found it was dirty and had a leak. I requested a room change, and it took them another 10 minutes to arrange it; then, in the new room they assigned me, the keys didn't work. By that point, I was thoroughly annoyed; I had spent nearly an hour and a half just trying to get checked in at that place. I really do not recommend staying there; they have very rude staff, and their manager on duty is inefficient.

The room was large and comfortable, though it did take a long minute for the air temperature to level out. We didn't really have time to spread out - we checked in, took a minute to relax, then called an Uber and hoofed it over to a brewery for the evening. By the time we got back we just needed to get cleaned up and fall into bed. Speaking of which, the bed was...okay. Not the most comfortable, of course, but at least we got a decent night's sleep. I think the thing that kept it from being a great night's sleep was the room's temperature. We were never quite able to get it to be the perfect feel, and when the air did kick on, it was just loud. The water pressure in the shower was nice, and the shower itself was a good size. I liked having the separate "sitting area" at the front of the room, even though we didn't really lounge, as mentioned above. I would say that this isn't the most conveniently-located hotel. There's not a lot nearby, it's close to the freeway but also kind of tucked away, and you can't just stroll down the street for a meal or a snack. Still, it was okay for the one night we were there, and we knew what we were getting when we booked.

Upon check-in shortly after 3 p.m., I was greeted by a gentleman (whose name I didn't catch). He was nice, and the process took no more than maybe 3 minutes. I was on the 2nd floor, and the room was very COLD, lol. I checked the thermostat, and it was set to 60° so I turned it up a bit. The room was furnished with a whole kitchenette, the bathroom was clean, and there were no bed bugs, thank God!! The room was clean, but I did drop a star for the dated furniture, and the bed clearly needs to be replaced. The mattress squeaked, and it was concave down the middle. Mmmhmmm!! I saw reviews complaining about the chairs, so I did what I had to do and used a towel to cover it since I had some work to get done on my laptop. The TV is also small and dated, but it worked. I didn't cook anything, but I was glad to have a fridge and microwave. Some reviews also mentioned that they provide pots, pans, and utensils, but I didn't see anything except for a trashcan under the sink. My door keys also took quite a few tries before it worked. They need to fix that. Overall, my stay was good. Parking is free, but be sure to place the placard on your rear view mirror. I didn't get the grab-and-go brekkie that they offer because my plans for the following day included eating, as usual, haha! They also don't have any toiletries (except bar soap in the tub and by the bathroom sink) or a hair dryer, so bring your own. This place is definitely not luxurious, but if you just need a night or two, it'll get the job done. Beware that this is a pet friendly hotel, so keep that in mind. I didn't hear any dogs barking during my stay, but I did see a few walking through the halls. I'm just glad it didn't smell like dogs. I hope they make some upgrades soon, but I'm glad there isn't any carpet in the rooms anymore. I'd stay again, but I'll look around for better options next time. So, my experience with Hilton and this property is vast. This property a few years ago did go through an upgrade to the front entrance, lobby, front desk area, and the main dining area that is beyond the lobby. The remodel or update though done a few years back is excellent. It is very inviting and exactly what you would expect from a Hilton Embassy Suites property. Devin and the front desk team are exceptional! Prompt, professional, and very customer service oriented. Beyond those two notable items in which this property shines, it falls off a steep cliff after that! The rooms are dated. They are dingy. They are marked up, beat up and rusted in various parts of the rooms (or at least the ones I have stayed in). Some of the rooms have drawers that do not close so they are open. Some of the phones do not work int he rooms. Lamp fixtures are crooked because they are old and just beat up. There are stains on sofa's, walls, counter tops, etc. In the shower, there are yellow rust stains and cracks throughout. Toilet paper simply doesn't stay on the bar so it's often rolling off and onto the floor. Housekeeping is lack luster. Trying to get a room that has the adequate towels, wash clothes, coffee, etc. is almost comical at this point. The parking garage which they now charge for is consistent with other Hilton properties, but the issue is it's old. I am not sure who owns the garage as the salon next door uses it as well. The spaces are narrow. Trash builds up in the cans. Lots of areas taped off. Some cracks and pipes that have either leaked or previously caused damage. While it is a park at your own risk, I would expect Hilton to have these issues fixed to be a better space for their guests who do need to park there. The property is in a great location for restaurants, nightlife, shopping etc. It's just gotten to the point that Hilton needs to overhaul the rooms and garage at this point. Staying at a Hampton Inn these days, trumps this property and that is just sad.

Wow. I loved the stay and would stay here again if I am in the area…read more Price was very reasonable. Parking lot is nice, clean, and only $13 to park per day, right in front of the front door. Giant suites over 500 square feet. Full kitchen, full sized fridge, stove, utensils, etc. Check in was a breeze, happy friendly staff. Nice fireplace right near the check in area. Elevators were pretty fast even though there are 5 floors, we never had to wait more than a minute or 2. Complimentary breakfast buffet, pretty standard but free and included. Eggs, Waffles, yogurt, etc. The room was large, clean, and new. The decor was modern, and looks nice. The sitting area was spacious and a large TV with easy to connect to your HDMI cord and computer to be able to watch what you want. Then you had the bedroom area, separated and with a door, it had a decent size TV as well. The bed was pretty comfortable too. The room was decent size and fairly quiet, even though we were next to a busy street. Then you had the separate large bathroom, with a nice large shower. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided in dispensers inside the shower. We did not check out the pool or cabanas, but they looked nice from inside. I posted plenty of photos for you to see what I mean.
