DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY WILL GIVE YOUR ROOM KEY TO OTHER GUESTS WHILE YOU ARE STILL THERE. When we checked in the hotel did not have power. They were able to issue hotel keys as the doors are powered by a generator I guess. They wrote down on paper what room they assigned to us. We had no AC all night until the power came back on. It's summer in San Diego, AC is absolutely necessary. The person at the front desk said that it was a planned outage for a pole that was being replaced, but we were never contacted prior to our stay that we would be affected. The next day while we were in the room another guest entered our room. They apparently did not put our room in the system and assigned another guest our room. They were able to fully enter our room with a key. They left but that is a terrible position to be put in. The rooms themselves were not clean, there were dead bugs on the floor and on top of the AC unit. Outside the room there is a light that shines directly into the room. The window has a shade but it does not block out light. Attached is a photo that was taken at 2:00 AM, you would think it was day time outside. I felt completely unsafe and regret staying here. During check out we spoke to the front desk host and they said all they could do was refund $19. We were there for 3 nights and paid over $400. That's unacceptable. read more

I've stayed in MANY Quality Inns and this one was one of the best. The bed was very comfortable, the cleaning staff had my room clean everyday, and breakfast was wonderful (especially Sunday!) I stayed for three days and got to know the staff a bit. There's a young man working the desk that is working his way up and was very professional (we had lots of laughs over my key issues). One of the front desk ladies, M, made me fresh coffee and brought it to me while I was doing work on the lobby table. I would definitely stay again! Booked the hotel as we are visiting Disneyland which is about 5 miles. Wasn't expecting much other than a decent place to sleep. But I felt it's well worth for its price. Rooms are decent and bed is comfortable. Bathrooms are a little outdated. Special mention about breakfast. Lots of items (waffles, bagels, egg scramble, potatoes, yogurt, juice, coffee, cereal, oats, hot chocolate, fruits). This is way beyond what one can expect especially for such a good price. Parking is free and have a lot of spaces. Service is good at breakfast and housekeeping is up to date everyday. Will definitely stay again if I'm ever in that area read more

Stayed here for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned once. After the first night, we went to the front desk to ask for fresh towels and let them know housekeeping hadn't come by. They assured us someone would take care of it, but when we returned from a full day at Disneyland, the room still hadn't been cleaned and no towels were provided. Stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days on our visit to Disneyland Park. Location is ~8-10 miles near Disneyland so convenient. Hotel was not bad compared to the reviews, rooms were ok and bathroom were clean. Rooms are cleaned if and only if asked for, if not they are not cleaned i.e. fresh towels, etc. Elevators were clean and so were the room corridors. I didn't get chance to go to gym and pool as we were very tired from Disneyland. As a vegetarian, not much options on 1st day but had potatoes on 2nd day so it was good with bagels. Continental breakfast had milk, coffee, cereals, dairy (cheese, butter, yogurt), waffle, juices, etc. For non-vegetarians, they had eggs and some kind of meat. Staff was friendly (breakfast lady, reception guys, etc.). Would recommend to stay here (don't blame if you get bad room, just try to work out with reception). BED BUGS and Syringes!!! Beware! Found bed bugs and an exposed needle from a used syringe. We told the front desk worker Nate, who informed his manager Teo about it and he did nothing to help us get a new room or a refund so we could possibly stay elsewhere. I am a magic key holder so I try to visit Disneyland as much as possible and have stayed at just about all of the discount hotels in the area. This one is by far the worst. When we got into our room we noticed it had not been cleaned. There was hair on the pillows, the carpet did not look vacuumed, and the shower had obvious mold everywhere. I got this hotel on Hotwire.com (where it had like a 90% approval rating) for only $100 after taxes and it was excellent. Most of the hotels in the area are more like $130 for questionable quality. Pluses: 1) Very clean room that wasn't too outdated 2) Refrigerator and microwave in room 3) Very clean bathroom in working order 4) Very short walk to the bus line that goes straight to Honda Center 5) A 17-min drive to Disneyland. It's on the border of Placentia and Anaheim and a short drive to downtown Fullerton/CSUF also. 6) Friendly staff 7) The free continental breakfast had eggs and sausage, oatmeal, pour your own freshly made waffles, cereal, coffee, juices. It had a conveyor belt toaster too to warm your English muffins, but please don't put a danish on there -- it almost caused a fire when we were there by an unscrupulous guest who lied to the staff that he had started it. The woman who staffed the breakfast was super hilarious about having to put out the almost-fire! 8) Free and plentiful parking 9) Extremely quiet room and comfortable bed 10) Free, working wifi Negative: 1) Pool was very dirty inside with green stuff on the sides underneath the water. Probably not a problem for most visitors, but I definitely noticed because I was looking forward to the pool. My stay wasn't particularly good or bad. Front desk service was pretty nice. Got a third floor room, and not sure if it was a remodel or what but the third floor rooms are inward facing like a hotel but the lower two floors are outward facing like an inn or older building. There are a lot of doors to go through though, going from the parking lot to the third floor and none are automatic. There is an elevator which was nice. There is breakfast served, but the hours on weekdays and weekends differ. The restroom had a slightly odd design (mainly the sink/counter). But the room itself was pretty spacious and the tv channel accessibility was good. Not sure if it was the hotel, the location, or the season but I did get two pretty nasty bug bites on my leg upon walking to/in the room. Though there are train tracks nearby, (not sure if they are even operational) the area around the hotel and the room are quiet. read more

Just had a great check-in experience with Vincent the front desk employee! Great attitude, genuinely showed effort and concern for me the customer, and although he could have not accommodate me with the room I requested, he offered to other options and did so in a positive manner. He also took the time to run a needed item to a room, which is fantastic follow up and customer care I have not seen previously at this establishment. I have stayed here many, many times and tonight was the first time I was greeted with such a great attitude, someone with patience, and an employee showing attention to detail, patience as it till me a minute or two to find my credit card, and respectful communication. My review exposed the fact my assigned room was infested with cockroaches. When I reported the infestation, I was told the heavy rain of late may have caused the infestation but wasn't offered an apology or a different room. After reporting this incident to Choice booking agency I ended up getting banned. Bottom line: If you stay here don't complain. read more

if I could give this place, zero stars, I would. I have been staying at this hotel almost every weekend for the past few months no issues no problems. The rooms are not that great. The service really isn't that great and the breakfast isn't that great the lady serving waffles is very nice, but I never complained. I stayed there over the weekend and as I was leaving, I was walking on the sidewalk to go to my car. I had my baby in the stroller, a suitcase, his baby bed, a backpack and my hands full of groceries trying to push so we can go to the car , one of the cleaning ladies carts was blocking the sidewalk. I waited for her to move her cart. Nobody came out of the room, so I pushed it over to the side, slightly enough room for the stroller, and myself to squeeze through. She came running out of the room, all of a sudden screaming at me in Spanish saying what the hell do you think you're doing? You cannot touch this you could've pushed it into the street and it could've hit a car. You cannot move this. i'm assuming because I look white that she didn't think I could understand what she was saying and how rude it was, but I am Mexican and I did understand so I responded your cart should not be in the way of the walkway. I tried waiting for you to come out and nobody came out so I moved it over so me and my baby can go to our car and leave, she shook her head and mumbled something in Spanish probably cursing me out I don't doubt it and then I walked away and went about my business. A day later my bank says I have an extra $150 charge from the hotel on my card I called and asked the man at the front desk who claimed to be the manager. He said he would look into it , I called him and expressed him how I've never had any issues never complained. I explain to him what happened with the maid and I also explain to him that I am very noticeable with my hair color and my tattoos. I don't know if it's because the maid got mad that all of a sudden I have a charge on my room , I did not tell him my hair color for a reason because I wanted to know what color they were going to say the stain was he responded well the comforter had a stain on it and it looks like red hair coloring. I explain to them my hair is not red not only that hair coloring doesn't just come off. I'm a hairdresser. I know how to dye my hair and I use expensive hair coloring. My hair is pink , not anywhere near red. It's a nice soft, light pink. I asked him OK if there's a stain on the comforter, then why isn't there a stain on the pillow because my head with my hair lays down on the pillow he explained to me while he was stuttering I don't know , I asked him how do you know that it's hair coloring how can you specifically say that and he stuttered again and said well I've seen that stain before and it doesn't wash out. I explain to him I'm a hairdresser if I saw a red stain on a comforter I wouldn't immediately think it's hair coloring . he told me because of that I am no longer allowed to stay there. I asked to speak to the manager and he laughed at me and expressed that he was the manager when I tried to ask him again why there's not stains on the pillows but on the comforter, and how that makes no sense he began to speak over me and disregard my question he was extremely rude, this is not a place I would recommend staying it's not nice I stayed there purely for convenience and to get points. I'm a fairly laid-back person and doesn't yelp. In fact I've never left a review, but I am so mad that they did this to me knowing damn well that they're lying and now taking money from me be careful staying there because they will lie and they will say that you messed up the room and then they'll tell you your shit out of luck and hang up the phone on you . read more

On 09/09/2022 I went to get a room last minute. They had availability. The guy working that last shift was very rude and I tried to joke with him to lighten up his mood. I was not offensive in any way. He got really rude with me and refused to give me a room. I was SHOCKED to say the least. I've been there before and never have I run across such a rude a*$#*!e! That's being nice. We ended up going to the Best Western which the gentleman there was polite and the rooms there are very very clean and the stay was pleasant. I will never go back to the Quality Inn again. I was a frequent customer there and I found stuff there that should have sterred me away. I'm very disappointed that they have such a rude person like that there. He acted like he was the owner. I would hope the owner wouldn't treat people like that. But! The room was fairly clean. The breakfast was awful; very little choices & eggs tasted like water (not real). This is a smoke free hotel and yet there are cigarette butts all around the property. When I checked in at 3 it smelled like smoke around my room. Went to a party and came back at 11pm and the smoke smell was horrible. I told the front desk but these "kids" didn't seem to care. This is supposedly a smoke free hotel. My stomach is still upset from having to sleep with the wreaking smell in my lungs. I took pictures that I will share with the manager tomorrow. SAFE, clean, affordable, great staff and the best shower water pressure I have ever felt! A family emergency brought us here with only the shirts on our backs to visit my mom for her last moments. I KNOW it is safe, as my daughter and I accidentally left the door open (w/ the inside latch out blocking the door from closing) every time we ran out of the room for hospital visits (dazed, frazzled and bereaving). Our laptops were out and obviously, no one came in. I want to HIGHLY recommend this place which is hidden in a safe industrial area cul-de-sac. Our usual hotel in the area is double the cost and it is scary to go for a lower price if it might risk safety. We tested it out and will highly recommend it to everyone. I want to recommend them to every hospital in the area, as whether it's for a grieving situation or a Disneyland family trip, it has all the necessities--plus with the microwave, fridge and coffee maker there is no need to leave for simple things. I highly recommend this Quality Inn for the great staff, safe environment, great water pressure and the full breakfast is a plus. read more

This is a good, quiet, basic hotel. The staff was very nice. The pool looked clean, the floors were moderately clean. In our room, the sink had huge cracks, and had clearly been that way for a while. The room was a bit odd. There was only 1 nightstand, and lots of other furniture. When they cleaned our room, they didn't replace the coffee pods, which was weird, and they were less than generous with the very small towels. Breakfast was included, and had the potential to be good, except that they put out very small amounts at a time, so if you weren't standing there, the single banana or pastry was gone. Someone tried, and had a nice idea.... Overall I'm giving a 4 because I feel like it was clean, with a comfortable bed. You might want to bring your own pillow though! The pool is pretty small, and unimpressive. The main issue I had was the location there is no decent restaurant's at all in walking distance . I mean there is NOTHING. This area is in some type of industrial park area , and very dark at night . Honestly it's not so bad for the price. My husband and I stayed for a weekend on a work thing. We did have some little hiccups but the customer service was phenomenal. I believe it was Stephanie (I'm sorry if that's not her name! Lol) at the front desk during the day was the sweetest and answered / helped me with all my questions and concerns. On our last night, our bathroom door got stuck somehow and the night attendant at the front desk (Vince) offered to upgrade our room because the maintenance man was gone for the night but we didn't want to change rooms. He ended up calling the maintenance man and he came in a quickness! It was late and I'm sure he was sleeping but even then, he greeted us with a smile and was super nice. This hotel isn't luxurious but it's great for it's price. I checked for bugs and all like I read in other reviews but there weren't any! It was super clean and the beds were sooo comfy. There was NO outside noises or noises in the halls. We will probably stay here again in the future. I didn't give 5 stars because of the hiccups but customer service is great! Highly recommended. It's a 20min drive to Disneyland and I felt safe staying here. Check in was very fast. We did not have to worry about car theft and the place is very quiet. We had a wonderful night sleep specially because the king bed was huge and super comfy. Housekeeping will throw away thrash and make your bed every day. We had to call for fresh towels daily but that wasn't a problem as soon as we made the call to front desk, they met our needs. Very inexpensive for a 4 night stay. The Quality Inn Placentia - Anaheim is conveniently located near a well-known tourist & amusement destination... for adults. No, I'm not talking about the Mickey Mouse 'Land Walt built. I'm talking about the wellspring Patrick Rue built from which flows the most deliciously eclectic & ambrosially imaginative craft beers. Yup, I'm talking about Bruery. In town for Bruery's 7th Anniversary, this Quality Inn was 1 of the closest hotels to Bruery. It's not quite as close as it seems, however. On the map, it looks like Bruery is right behind this Quality Inn. But the 2 are completely separated by walls & fences. It's still walking distance, though that walk winds up being the long way around out to Placentia Ave & then over on Orangethorpe Ave. It's still pretty close, nonetheless. & this Quality Inn is a nice place to stay in the area for the $: lots of free parking, free & fast Wi-Fi, simple but reasonably attractive furnishings, clean room & bed, decent bathroom, microwave & mini-fridge in room, coffee-maker & flat-panel TV too, & a not-too-shabby complimentary breakfast in the morning. For a place to stay on beer excursions to Bruery (& yeah, I suppose for trips to Walt's little nearby attraction also), the Quality Inn Placentia - Anaheim hits the sweet spot of convenient location, good room rates, & desirable amenities. I thoroughly enjoyed my one night stay here. It's located in a very nice industrial area, so be aware, not a resort area, but it's close to everything. The front desk clerk was very kind and I was given room 319. The room was spacious and clean. The air was already on so I didn't suffer that new room stuffiness that some hotels have; I felt very comfortable there. Fluffy towels in the large bathroom and a shower with great water pressure and a showerhead with options. Nice closet with shelves inside. Free breakfast? Yasss. Eggs, waffles, sausage patties, muffins, fruit, juice, yogurt... Quite the spread for a free breakfast. The only 2 small cons were the front desk clerk did not advise me the easiest route to the room so I ended up tromping up the flights of stairs with all my bags only to discover a much easier route in the morning, but hey, I need the exercise. The other is that I checked in for much needed sleep since I'm working at night, but the main window covering is a sheer panel that the sun came right through and woke me earlier than I'd like...
