Tisha was absolutely the coolest! She had everything before we could even tell her. She was so personable. We are looking forward to breakfast and will add more pics!

We had a VERY TERRIBLE experience at this hotel!!!! DO NOT GO FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!!!!!! I'm writing down our experience to worn everyone who is thinking about going. Their staff is VERY RUDE, the hotel is dirty, smells bad and we spotted a 7CM ROACH!!!! The shampoo box was broken on the edge with huge cracks and caused injury on my husband's forehead during taking the shower. IT WAS VERY DANGEROUS!!!!! Their staff did NOTHING, NOT EVEN AN APOLOGIES. I'm warning you with our true experience. DO NOT GO FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!!!!!!!! My husband and I, as well as 2 friends booked 5-nights (8/8-8/12) at the Best Western Orange Plaza hotel, room 218. After finding A LARGE COCKROACH, SUPER DISGUSTING!!!!!! in our room on the third night, 8/10, we reported to the front desk staff Jay that we were uncomfortable. We couldn't stay in that room any longer. Jay had a terrible attitude, and he refused to issue a full refund. He looked at the picture and say "yes, that's a roach. What do you want me to do? Do you want me to catch it???" VERY RUDE!!!!! HE DID NOT EVEN SAY "SORRY" FOR ONCE!!!!!! He then came to the room reluctantly with his bare hands and NO CLEANING TOOLS. He took one flyer on the desk and try to reach to the bottom of the desk, then he looked at us saying "Where is the roach???" We told him the roach was running so fast and it hidden under the TV stand. He looked at us and say "Do you know this TV stand can't move?" as of this was our fault. HOW RUDE!!! (He even tried to deny that there were roaches, saying "he didn't see them"). And then he looked at us just like "What do you want me to do then?" The most ridiculous thing is that when we mentioned "roaches", he even corrected us saying "It's A ROACH, not ROACHES". We demand a full refund of the 3 nights because the roaches could have been there for 3 days already and it could ly eggs in our suitcases, and we could have taken them back with us. The front desk staff Jay refused to do that, and he said he can only transfer us to a smaller room right next to the roach room (which is highly likely infected as well), or we can just leave in the middle of the night. As it was too late and there weren't any other hotels available, we had no choice but to move into room 219 at that point. After moving everything into room 219, my husband Lei took a shower late at night around 1am, and it was slippery in the bathtub. He didn't notice there was a sharp edge on the top left corner of the shampoo box, so when he used it to take the shampoo out, the box fell down and injured his forehead. He got 2 obvious redness and swelling, and felt dizzy, especially after being shocked again. He had to lay down and go to sleep because it was 2 am in the morning. We reported to the front desk, and AGAIN, THEY DID NOTHING. There was another staff at the front desk by the time, his name is Dave. Dave is not as rude as Jay. He came to the room and took a look at the shampoo box and then said "Oh, it's a bad design, but I can't do anything." NO SINGLE APOLOGISE. We checked out of the Best Western Orange Plaza hotel this morning at 8/11, and had to find another hotel to stay tonight, which was much more expensive (3 times more expensive) since it was a last minute booking, causing us further damage. We were told the manager Michael Nuño was not on call during the days when we stay, so we cannot speak to him directly. A different employee, Dave, said their manager would call us at around 10 am. However, we waited for a day and he didn't call. I called the hotel the same afternoon and asked for the manager, but another staff member said the manager would not be on site until 8/12. They never called on 8/12 either. It's been 3 days now and Michael Nuño never called us. Even tho their staff Dave told us 5 times that Michale will contact us on the morning of 8/11. WE HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANY CALLS FROM BEST WESTERN ORANGE PLAZA EVERY SINCE, NO SINGLE APOLOGISE, NO REFUND AT ALL.

Despite some bad reviews I decided to try the hotel anyway. So glad I did, the staff was friendly, the breakfast, fresh and plenty to choose from, the room was spotless, the beds, were heavenly, and the shower fantastic. Will make sure to stay there anytime I am in California.

Its very clean. nice tan/brown rooms. New pillow top beds, really nice. Good hardline internet But lacking a microwave in the rooms.!!! And no on site washer and dryer. WTF ! I would give it 3 stars if they had a microwave. 85.00 a night. The day staff is not real friendly. The big guy works swing is ok.

What could have been an extremely stressful situation was made so much easier thanks to the kindness and professionalism of the hotel staff. From the moment we arrived, every interaction was positive. The valet attendant greeted us warmly and directed us to self parking. At check in, the front desk clerk was friendly, understanding of our situation, and helped extend our stay since we had no idea how long we would be displaced. Later, when we learned we might need to stay for up to two weeks, the staff again went out of their way to help and extended our reservation without hesitation. The pricing adjustments they offered were incredibly generous. We were originally quoted a much higher rate by the automated phone system, but once we spoke with the front desk, they applied an evacuation rate and even lowered it further as our stay continued. They also retroactively adjusted the earlier nights and provided complimentary parking for the entire stay. Their compassion during a difficult time meant a lot. We stayed in two different rooms, both of which were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Each room had the essentials, a small refrigerator, a large TV, and a coffee and tea setup. The second room also had a microwave, which was very convenient. The beds were comfortable, and everything in the rooms worked well except for the USB ports in the first room, but the regular outlets worked fine. When the evacuation zone was finally reduced and we were cleared to return home, checkout was quick and easy. The staff remained just as friendly and helpful as they had been throughout our stay. Overall, the entire team was professional, personable, and truly accommodating. Their support made a stressful situation much easier to handle, and we are very grateful for the care they showed us.

But the inside is spacious, nicely adorned, clean, with a fairly sensible layout/design. The check-in was pretty smooth, and the staff was very professional and engaging. The warm cookie is always a nice treat. There is a nice bar and restaurant within a few steps of the check-in area. No pun intended, but you should check it out. The drinks are on point, and the food doesn't taste like traditional hotel food. The wait staff there is very attentive and accommodating. There is a coffee shop in the lobby just as you enter the hotel. It's little pricey for what you get. I ordered a breakfast croissant. It was good, but again, pricey for what you get. The room was comfortable, cool, and clean. The 3 C's I typically look for when staying in a hotel. There is a decent work area. The bed was comfortable, and it had a nice-sized TV. The lamp outlet on the desk was a bit hard to find, and it's low on the lamp's base. Closet space is ok - standard. The shower had two conditioner pump bottles and one shampoo. There was no shower gel. Not a huge deal. I usually bring my own. There is a really nice outdoor space with varied seating. Some of the lounge-chair type seating have firepits. I forgot my swim trunks to get into the pool. But that's ok, there are usually too many kids in that type of area for me. I like a more chill, less noisy swim. The parking is tight. There is a small lot. About 1/4 of it is for valet. Although the valet team seemed pretty nice, I self parked my vehicle. There are some fast-food places nearby to eat if you aren't feeling the hotel food. And Best Buy is nearby if you attend an event and need some tech stuff. Oh yeah, and The Block at Orange is within walking distance if you need to do some real shopping, get something to eat, or just have some fun. Overall, it was a really good stay. I would revisit in the future. It was good value and service for the money. PROS * Good value * Nice, professional staff * Comfy rooms * Quick elevators * Nice decor * Pantry near check-in area * Good for meetings, seminars, conferences * Outdoor space * Tennis courts * Outdoor pool * Nearby food and shopping * Near the fwy CONS * Small parking lot * A lot of local traffic noise but it's not terrible * Room towels are a bit on the rough side * Could not remove the shower head and separate it from the docking port in the shower * Hurt my foot getting in the shower; the bottom area is a bit raised with metal trim. Just take your time and look down. You should be fine. * Commode flushes hard and loudly * The work desk is a bit small * The desk chair is heavier than most and has no wheels. It is hard to move easily.

I appreciated the Included breakfast. All the staff were super nice and friendly. I will say there was some issues with the elevators, one of them broke down so the wait time was LONG. The woman at the front desk with long red hair and long fingernails was far from welcoming and came across as harsh and snappy. As a first-time guest, it was an immediate turnoff. After getting through the uncomfortable check-in process, we headed to the bar for a glass of wine. The staff was already mopping the bar area since the restaurant closes at 9:00 p.m. We ordered two glasses of wine, which came to $29. Thankfully, the wine itself was enjoyable. The rooms are generously sized and nicely appointed. However, the linens had an odd smell, almost like inexpensive laundry detergent. Our room was located across from an electrical room, which created noticeable noise. The bathroom fan runs continuously, so we had to keep the bathroom door closed while sleeping. Based on the reviews, this property seemed promising, but I want to provide an honest account of my experience. One positive is that the windows open slightly, allowing for some fresh air. However, the air conditioning does not stay on consistently, which would make me hesitant to stay here during the summer months.

They made me a bit nervous when they couldn't find my reservation while checking in and again when no one was at the desk to check me out, but I only waited a few minutes each time before things were sorted out. I don't think I've ever stayed in a place this run down; it definitely needs an upgrade. When I walked into my room, there was a pretty strong chemical odor. The decor is kind of haphazardly put together. The water pressure was pretty terrible, there were stains on the towels and sheets and there is a little gap in the doorframe, so you can hear eVerything that is happening outside.
