    Note left by house keeping..
    asia u.

Everything was good. Up until we got a note left in our room after it was cleaned saying "never seen anyone use literally everything from the coffee station that's insane lmao" now I'm not sure if it was supposed to be funny but I felt very offended by it. Was I not supposed to use "everything" they offered in the room? Were they upset because I used the coffee station? I'm not sure but to me this note was condescending and rude. But the manager at the front desk was very apologetic maybe they need to rethink their staff..

Reserved a room super last minute to stop for the night. The place seemed really clean and they had mask requirements, the clean seal stickers on the rooms, wipes in the rooms, hand sanitizer all over. Breakfast is not free here. We did get our delicious warm cookies when we checked in. The room seemed clean.

    Dirt, mold, and dangerous!

Very disappointed! Air vents covered with dirt, mold, and who the heck knows! Tried twice to get the issue fixed. So much for the covid cleaning disinfection promise. Hilton FilthyStay!

Breakfast at Gracies. I had a voucher so not sure the cost.

Stayed here when I went to Springfield for training for work. It's a nice place and of course the cookie is awesome! I wish I could get a cookie every night but maybe I'm just greedy. I got picked up at the airport by their shuttle driver who was nice but went into these weird stories on the way there. He got us there safely though! The check in process was easy but when I went back down later to buy a Sprite from the shop she had a heck of a time ringing it up. Maybe she was new but I've never had any hotel have any problems with charging me for items! The room was nice. Nothing super fancy but the bed and pillows were comfy. We ha a great view of the roof so nothing to see there. It felt a little small for two people but maybe that's just me. They did forget to clean our room one day which was a little bit of a hassle but they did bring extra towels while we were out. No extra cookies though. The breakfast is super delicious though! It was paid for by my company but the sign said it was $12.95 a person. Youch. But they had bacon and sausage so there's that. All in all it's s nice hotel and I'd stay there again. Actually if I go back it'll be for work so I'm sure I'll stay there again!

I hadn't been to Springfield in years, so I asked a local where I should stay for a quick overnight…read moretrip. Without hesitation, he said, "You've got to try the Vandivort." I'm so glad I did. The moment I stepped into the stylish, contemporary lobby, I felt like I'd walked into a boutique hotel in SoHo. The design is chic, modern, and full of personality. I arrived early and was pleasantly surprised to get access to my room right away -- a spacious, beautifully appointed room on the fourth floor of the hotel's main building. (Tip: there's a second building across the alley in back, so if location matters to you, be sure to ask which one you're in.) My room was terrific -- upscale furnishings, high ceilings, and a bed so comfortable I wanted to bring it home with me. Great mattress, perfect pillows -- everything you hope for in a good night's sleep. As luck would have it, the hotel was celebrating its 10-year anniversary with a lobby reception just as I was heading out to a meeting. The place had a celebratory buzz. When I returned, I made a beeline to Vantage, the rooftop bar, for an Old Fashioned. They were out of Angel's Envy (my go-to), but the bartender made a solid one with Woodford Reserve. A quick evening shower made the rooftop a bit humid, so I headed downstairs to The Order, the hotel's lobby bar -- equally impressive, with a standout liquor selection and, yes, Angel's Envy in stock. Round two. The next morning, I hit their fitness room in the back building, followed by a run through downtown. Afterward, I grabbed a surprisingly good $10 breakfast burrito from the on-site café. My only real quibble: no complimentary coffee in the lobby. For a boutique hotel of this caliber, it's a small thing that would make a big difference. Overall, Hotel Vandivort delivered style, comfort, and a memorable experience. If you're heading to Springfield and want something with personality and polish -- stay here. Highly recommended.

Have been staying here for years and this HGI is going downhill fast :(…read more First off, the breakfast in the morning is still great. Andrea is always helpful and love the cooked to order items here. The rooms, however, are getting so rundown through the years. My room on the first floor was so muggy, damp and even the carpets were bad. You would not even dare walk on them with bare feet, so gross. Then, the bathroom walls were stained with who knows what. I was there for a week and had two hand towels and one wash cloth. Lastly, Springfield is getting booked up so these rooms can be up to 180/200+ per night which is highway robbery since they are so bad. Sooner or later it will be dropped from the Hilton chain and be made into a Quality Inn or something.

The breakfast was wonderful every morning and the dining area has plenty of seating. In the evenings we enjoyed gathering on the outside patio at the fire pit. The banquet staff was courteous and attentive. Pretty much all of us really liked our rooms. The handicap accessible room that my mom needed was wonderfully spacious with a roll in shower. Hilton Garden Inn does a really good job with events, the rooms are well kept and the restaurant has a fantastic menu.

Well,…read morefor that AND for the effort being put in to improve... thanks to my wonderful eavesdropping abilities. We opted for the Elvis room... was it dated? Yes, yes it was. The whirlpool could definitely use a little something as parts were falling off - but, hey... we were going back in time. The Cadillac bed still brings a smile to my face. It was cheesy in a completely awesome way. Shove the kids in the wagon & let's hit the open road! Could it be improved on? Sure... but it was clean, comfortably & achieved it's goal. Bonus, it was quiet, despite being along the road. We noted the addition of some new themed rooms, including a lovely western room. I like to see the progress and hope to see refreshes on some of the classics. Breakfast was available & worth skipping. It seriously was not good. I don't mean in the usual subpar hotel breakfast way. I mean that they somehow made a subpar hotel breakfast worse. The biscuits were too hard to too cut &, speaking of cutting, I'm pretty sure they cuz the gravy with water . It was THIN. Even so, no amount of soaking softened the biscuits. The grounds were very pleasant to stroll through. The Route 66 touches were well-integrated, keeping it true to the theme without going overboard. The hot tub has been removed and covered with a deck. It's, again, true to the original era. While checking out the grounds, we overheard staff discussing the importance of, and plan for, improving curb appeal. We truly enjoyed our stay & needed something not so serious, something playful. This hit the mark!
