    "Sofa" Blue blocks are stationary

Very clean and conveniently located. Our room setup was a bit odd. The "sofa" was hard and uncomfortable in addition to the odd placement of the two stationery pillows. The "desk" was an oblong table nestled under the bureau counter which required you to pull it out for use making it awkward. There's a large open space in the corner as if a chair should possibly be there. Also our bath mat was visibly threadbare. Also there wasn't a luggage rack to lay your suitcase. Wouldn't be my top pick to stay in the future.

Experience here was great!!!! We celebrated our 32nd HS Reunion at their event center. The staff was awesome (Rob & Harbert) Food of choice was awesome very delicious. We also stayed here, rooms ware clean, and are newly renovated. Thanks Lana for all your help.

Odd location but this Hilton property does the trick if you're passing through and need a spot to stay for a night. No excitement or anything entertaining on site, but the room amenities offers all the basics. Free overnight parking. Front desk staff were sweet which is not always the case for Hilton properties. Didn't get a chance to try food at the onsite restaurant but the menu looked good. Also, there isn't a business center at this Doubletree which I thought was also unusual (computers, printer, etc.). Clean and well maintained.

Today was 98 degrees very hot day so I decided to book a hotel room so the grandkids can swim we drove thru traffic got here the waiting room is full of flies! First red flag, second red flag nobody was at the front desk phone is ringing nonstop then a young lady comes from idk where and puts the caller on hold and helps us I ask her what's the hours for swimming she says the swimming pool is closed how it's summer time in the bay area 3rd red flag we tell her wow we booked this hotel so kids can swim she cuts me off and says I can refund u ur money!! I tell her I refuse to go back out in that heat we get to the room it smells like musty and cigarette smell smh we leave to Walmart and leave the sliding door open to air out the room speed things up 8:30am we get knock at the door it's house keeping trying to clean the room OMG don't book here staff is under trained and the rooms remind you of a motel bathroom shower floor is digusting try the Marriott cause the Hilton Livermore don't live up to the hiltons it's giving motel 6 or super 8

The Double Tree in Livermore provided a comfortable two-night stay while attending a seminar in the hotel's banquet room. I had checked from the Hilton app the evening before and selected a room on the first floor. The digital key was not available at this hotel at that time so I went to the front desk to get a key. However, when I arrived, they gave me a different room on the first floor, which was fine except the room key would not open the door. So they gave me room 213 on the second floor, which was fine. The double beds were made and the bathroom was clean. After the first night, house keeping had made my bed and provided a clean towel. The hotel stay was fairly simple, but not perfect. One of the pull out lights next to the bed didn't work, the TV Guide didn't match what was on TV, and house keeping threw out a bag that I was using to pack my shoes. The banquet room was really nice and the chandeliers looked lovely. The warm cookie upon arrival was delicious. I ate in the hotel restaurant twice for lunch and the food was okay. The turkey and chicken were a bit dry, but staff was happy to provide more gravy upon request. The workout room was just okay. No TV or music to listen to. They don't have a lot of machines but luckily no one was in there when I was there. The treadmill and elliptical machines were not connected to the TV stations so it made working out a little boring. All of the staff I encountered were nice and polite...from check-in to the restaurant staff. The restaurant staff didn't bring out our lunch plates the first day until we flagged them down and asked. Service was better the second day. There are several good restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.

I'm not saying all, but there's only one receptionist named Trena whom I felt was more empathetic in my situation and was the only one who made us feel welcome and seemed happy to help. When I first arrived, I was struggling to unload everything out of the car since I had my baby in a stroller and they were able to assist me. All other members made it feel like we were bothering them when we are asking for help. We are a military family and we stayed here for a long-term maybe for over two weeks while waiting for our apartment to be available. We have a newborn and cats. They have so much red tape tapes and house rules when it comes to housekeeping. They keep on saying that it's California law that guests must stay out during housekeeping, however when I looked it up I cannot find any law saying that guests must stay out when they're doing housekeeping. One of their house rules is that we cannot stay at all inside the room while their housekeeping second is that we have to keep the cats in the kennel when they are housekeeping. Having to put the cats in the kennel and moving outside the lobby with a newborn every other day is not an easy job. I tried to compromise and put the cats inside the bathroom while they clean the main area, but they still won't allow or accept that compromise. They're just not understanding at all with certain people's situation. When it comes to following rules, they're pretty black and white and unwilling to help customers out.

The room itself was comfortable and I had a great experience during my stay. My only initial concern was that the hallways were quite dark and dimly lit. When I first arrived and was walking to my room, it made me feel a little uneasy, but once I got into the room, everything was great. The one area I think could be improved is the breakfast. I paid an additional $20 to include breakfast with my stay. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was told that I could either choose the continental breakfast or select one dish from the menu. I was also told that the continental option did not include any hot food. I chose the continental breakfast, but I was surprised to find that there was essentially no protein option at all. It was mostly carbohydrates. Even something simple like a boiled or scrambled egg would have made the breakfast feel much more balanced and complete. For a $20 breakfast add-on, I actually think it would be better not to make guests choose between a continental breakfast and one hot dish. Including a simple protein such as eggs with the continental breakfast would make a big difference and provide much better value. Other than the breakfast and the dark hallways, I really enjoyed my stay. The cleanliness and comfort of the room were excellent, and with a few small improvements, the overall experience could be even better.

Frankly, I was too tired to care. The staff was nice, and the room was clean. The water in the shower didn't get that hot. It was more of a room temp setting. We had a wonderful 10 day stay at Hawthorn Suites in Livermore…read more The location was great- close to the freeway, but no traffic noise to keep you up. Easy walking distance to Chevron gas station for water and food items, and Jack in the Box. The breakfast was good- eggs, potatoes, waffle maker, bread/bagels, muffins. The room was spacious with 2 comfy queen beds. I really enjoyed having a kitchenette in the room with plates, utensils, pots, a pan, etc. We went to Safeway to purchase items to cook on the stove or in the microwave, and they were easy to use. The ladies at the front desk were nice at check in and were helpful with getting what I needed for laundry. The laundry room was easy to use as well- $2.75 for the washer, $2.75 for the dryer, and 1.65 to purchase laundry detergent from the front desk. I loved this convenience as well to not pack as much. Overall, a great place to stay in Livermore!

This stay was a mixed bag, leaning more toward disappointing than satisfying…read more The positives first: the location is convenient, with several restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance. Parking was easy and accessible. Once we were settled, our room was clean and spacious, located on the third floor away from the elevator, which kept things quiet. Check-in was quick and straightforward, and the front desk hostess was genuinely kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, the issues started right away. The first room we were given had a strong curry smell, and we had to request a different room. While they did move us without much hassle, that's something that should have been caught beforehand. The bathroom in the new room felt old and worn, with dated fixtures that need updating. The shower was the biggest letdown--water pressure was extremely weak, the pipes rattled loudly, and the shower head made an odd high-pitched "singing" noise the entire time. Breakfast downstairs wasn't worth it, and the coffee was just as disappointing. We ended up heading out to a local breakfast spot instead. Overall, the hotel benefits from its location and room size, but it clearly needs upgrades and better attention to maintenance. It's fine if you only need a basic place to sleep, but there are better options out there for the price.

Its East Bay time again, but its also Mediocre & Indifferent Mon (barely)!…read more I visited my sister in the East Bay, and decided to stay at this property bc I had points. There were positives & negatives. Positives: Friendly staff; Big room and bathroom w/ a kitchen. You expect the foregoing from a residence inn; Decent sized gym; Ok sized pool; Negatives: Not sure how the room I was given is an upgrade for a Platinum Elite. A two bedroom vs a one bedroom would have been an upgrade; Maid service every other day. The foregoing should be at the customer's option. Other chains give bonus points for being "green". Mandatory every other day maid service was clearly a way to save money; No bacon or potatoes every day; No jacuzzi, no closet, no safe, no stand to put your luggage on, and the phone did not work; Had to carry my luggage up to the second floor; No backup roll of toilet paper for three people. I have stayed at RI's all around the US & Canada, and have had positive experiences. The stay in Livermore was a lot of "No's". This was not a good use of my points. Had the front desk been unfriendly, this review would have been a Two Star 2uesday. I'll make sure I stay at a different Marriott property, or a different hotel chain the next time I visit.
