We used this hotel for a wedding block (wedding was nearby at the Palm Event Center) and Nicole was excellent to work with! She was always very kind and responsive via email, and made the process very easy. We received a friendly greeting right away upon entering the hotel. My family was there to attend a wedding nearby at the Palm Event center. The front desk provided excellent service and even allowed me to borrow their scissors for a last minute dress emergency. The price was great and the rooms were modern and clean. We reserved one standard room with 2 queen beds, when you walk in to the right is a vanity with a sink across from the closet and then the toilet and bathtub are in a space separated by a door which was nice. There's access to an outside balcony that had a little table and two chairs. We used the sitting area in the lobby that's also the business center as well as the gym facilities. The business center consists of a few computers and I was very impressed with the gym. One of the best gyms with the most versatile equipment at a hotel that I have ever experienced, as well as spacious. Will definitely be back! read more

We stay here every time my husband has training for work and I love it. The rooms are pretty big and the beds are comfy. I love the shower pressure. Everyone is pretty friendly and very clean for the most part. The only downfall is that there is no pool. Other than that it's a nice hotel and it's in a great location. read more

Until three years ago I lived in Livermore for almost 2 decades. I watched this place be built. Why would I ever stay here, I live here!...And then I moved. So now I visit my family and friends from time to time and after my last couple of attempts at other places, I once again picked a different place to rest my head. I arrived later in the day, easy to find, (well I knew where I was, that helped) lots of parking. Check in was easy, guest services friendly and welcoming. Got my room key, headed to second floor. Room was clean, I was happy! Long day of travel, I just want to go to sleep....nope! 11pm and the people above me began to party. I called the front desk at 2 something and they said they would look into it. Called again at 3 something and I was told they were aware, might have to call police. At 4 something I went downstairs with my 10lb eye bags and said I need another room, top floor, opposite side. The screaming and dropping of what sounded like 10 lb weights above my head for hours was too much. They obliged and gave me a new room 3rd floor no issue. New room looked identical to the last. This A/C was a bit louder (heat wave, it's Livermore after all) but ok, I can deal. Then 5am hit and could hear above noise. Not as bad but definitely loud. Confused as I thought I was on the top floor? So either they got some homeless up there, ghosts, or a trapped donkey or something. Or maybe just delirious not sure. To also be mentioned, both my rooms had plumbing issues. #1 room toilet wouldn't stop running, #2 room shower leaked into outdoor vanity area and I slipped. I don't visit hotels for amenities, I book for a clean and quiet sleep. I did not get quiet here. I realize the noise is not their fault as you cannot always control the occupants and perhaps I was just unfortunate. I really do appreciate the friendliness and cleanliness. But today I'm tired. read more

**Avoid the Credit--Just Take the Points and Move On** We were originally told by one staff member that we'd receive a $20 food credit, which we used the next morning. Turns out, that credit was never applied--so we ended up paying out of pocket for something we were promised would be covered. When we tried to resolve it, the next staff member seemed completely unaware of how to handle the issue and told us the manager would fix it the next morning. That never happened. Instead, the manager processed a charge *and* gave us a credit, effectively canceling each other out--still leaving us with no food credit, no solution, and no accountability. To top it off, James at the front desk rolled his eyes at my mother when she tried to follow up before we checked out. That kind of attitude is the cherry on top of a terrible customer service experience. Maybe look around before displaying such behaviors. Take the hotel points and skip any promises of credits. They don't honor them, and worse--they act like you're the problem when you ask for what you were told. read more

I stayed here for 1 night since I was attending a wedding in the area. This hotel is about 10 minutes (less than 5 miles) from Casa Real. I checked in super late (close to midnight) and the guy at the front desk was really nice. I asked for a late checkout and since there was availability, he said I could check out at 4pm the next day, if I wanted. (This is normally reserved for titanium Marriott members.) The room was clean and modern enough. My only complaint was while the A/C worked, it did not feel like it got as cold as I would have liked, plus it ran kind of loud so I didn't want to have it on while I slept. But, I also stayed when it was almost 100 degrees in Livermore, so I was still thankful the A/C worked. read more

The front desk folks were so cool and gracious! There was a weird dude in the lobby being sus and my friend and I being the nosey and the front desk let us know they were already on it with a watchful eye. I would not want their job and yet, I totally want their job! Beds were comfy, pillows too. Bedrooms were tidy and updated. Maid kicked us out at 12:01 which was lame but, check out is noon and she was like GTFO already! Kinda pissed me off but in her defense we had already taken the do-not-disturb sign off the door and she was just doing her job. Solid Marriott and would stay here again! read more

Check in was fast and easy along with very courteous service. Asked if we needed any information to make sure we were all set. The room was spotless, the linens, pillows, and beds were very comfortable. I slept very well, which isn't normal for me at most hotel stays. My room was almost directly above the main entrance, and there was what sounded like a mini party happening just outside that woke me up (not sure what time it was but for sure it was very late) in my 2nd floor room, but the issue was addressed quickly and I fell right back to sleep, which also doesn't normally happen. While we were booked for two nights, my schedule changed and I needed to check out a day early, but no problem, they adjusted my booking and I wasn't charged for the second night. Hear me out on this. I travel every single week for work. There was a conference in San Francisco so every single hotel was sold out. The only place available was the ritz at $3,000 per night! Very nice hotel. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Spacious lobby and outdoor patio area to hang out. Need to put out ant traps or fumigate outdoor area!! Way too many ants outside crawling on the outdoor furniture and tables. You're gonna get ants in your pants for sure!! Gym is huge and nice. Several cardio machines and a nice cable machine with different attachments including a dip attachment. Very nice fixed curl bars from 10-110 lbs. Sad dumbbells are only 5-50 lbs. They have plenty of room to upgrade dumbbells to at least 75lbs. Water from Britta machine doesn't come out cold. Overall, met my expectations. Oh and a big plus for the hotel allowing me to keep my MWD with me without the extra charge. read more

When you pull another last minute trip for a holiday weekend and refuse to pay the premium for staying in the city... you look up what's on your Marriott points rewards and make the drive. NOT A BAD DECISION AT ALL. Not surprised with this establishment since all the courtyards I've stayed at have been fairly decent or above average. So no complaints there. Just wanted to highlight how clean this specific location was and how close it is to Costco (cheap gas & cheap cafeteria food! LOL.) Bed is extremely comfortable. TV was fancy - you could log in to your Hulu account and binge watch. HBO Go was included in the room, but the problem was... we'd watch 15 mins of it and would get kicked out. Not sure but we informed the front desk about the issue. Easy check in and check out. Staff are very welcoming. Ample parking. Good choice. read more

I booked my stay thru the wedding party discount. Unfortunately for me my arrival time was delayed and when I phone in to let them know I was told they take note( who's not hear that before) when I arrived to my surprise the note was mentioned that I would be a late check in. Good staff communication. The next day I was awaken by pounding on the structure when I phoned to ask what's going on I was given the whole story. It turns out they were having structural reconstruction, with out hesitate the manager moved me and was pleasant when doing so and offered breakfast meal the remainder of my trip. I really enjoyed the communication between myself and the staff. Also, the gym is opened 25hrs (love it) great equipment n well stocked with clean towels. This hotel is awesome!! I've been here for 3 days on business and every staff member we've encountered has been super friendly and accommodating. Rental car battery died, they jumped it and got me to my meeting on time. I needed a quiet place to take a Zoom call, they put me up in the board room. My business partner needed to use the Gym an hour early because his body was still on east coast time, no problem. Giant breakfast burritos, check. Snack Bar, check. Fast WiFi, check. The Courtyard Livermore team distinguished themselves as knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and kind for every one of the seven days we spent with them for our daughter's wedding in June. We'll stay nowhere else whenever back in the Livermore area. A special shout out to their sales and catering manager, Nicole, who patiently guided us through planning accommodations and services for 30 people across 54 total room nights. In the dozen communications over five months, Nicole's expertise and promptness didn't just win our business but laid the necessary foundation for a perfect stay. She was a pleasure to work with and we appreciated her continuing watchful eye even after our group's arrival. While Nicole's planning made perfect possible, the Courtyard Livermore front desk staff, Bistro servers, and housekeepers made perfect happen. They have a wonderful team at the front desk who warmly handled the inevitable change of arrangements and started every exchange with a smile. We were in good hands, to be sure, and their hard work freed up the wedding party to focus on just that--the wedding. In addition, they have terrific people working behind The Bistro counter. We much appreciated their smiles too, as well as the friendly manner in which the served up tasty food and beverages. I can say we would have gone hungry a time or two without them! Lastly, with the hotel's housekeeping staff, we lacked for nothing as they attentively kept our rooms and generously paused to understand and respond to yet another one of our group's requests for the odd item or two. And as a businessman, I especially frequent Marriott Courtyards all over the country--developing a bit of a trained eye for the good and not so good. Let me tell you about the foot stars and complete with why they don't receive five. 1) the jacuzzi The jacuzzi is awesome. Pool are is extremely clean, well lit and maintained. I would prefer it to be outdoors but no worries. 2) Sleep Really this is why you're here. You want to sleep. The place is quiet. I heard no loud noises in the night. Great rest! 3) Staff Super nice! Enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard Livermore this weekend! I was in town for a fitness competition and the gym is phenomenal. One of the best hotel gyms that I have ever been to and especially considering it is a smaller Courtyard property and not like a large Marriott. The outdoor "Courtyard" area is really cool as well. Very nicely done! The desk staff was very friendly and helpful and always made themselves visible when I walked through the lobby area, no matter what time of day/night. The room was nice, modern, very clean. The shower drained very poorly which sucked because I don't like showering in water that's up to the bone on my ankle. The first day I got there, I asked for a room refresh within about an hour after having arrived and they took care of it very quickly for me which was awesome. I will likely find myself back in the Livermore area again this time next year and will certainly utilize this property again. read more

My husband and I had a 2 day wedding at venues in this area and are so happy we did a room block with Courtyard Livermore for our guests. Nicole Goodrich was amazing to work with. She super helpful and accommodating and we could not have asked for better customer service. The rates were reasonable and we were not responsible for covering the cost of un-booked rooms (if there were any). That was a huge stress relief for us so we didn't have to worry about making sure all rooms were booked before the deadline. Nicole and her team also helped pass out welcome bags to our guests as they checked in, which again was super helpful. The hotel itself was the perfect location for us. It's a quick 10 min drive to Casa Real and a 15 min drive to the Shannon Community Center (both our venues). It's also super close to the freeway, right across from a Costco, and other food places near by. The rooms themselves were great. The king suites were perfect for my husband and I to get ready in. I had plenty of space to get my H&MU done and great lighting for get ready pics with the photographer. My MOH also got a king suite and we used her room for H&MU for the bridesmaids. Again, there was plenty of space for 2 artists to work on 2 girls at a time. The on-site staff was amazing as well, especially James who helped us in the evenings. Overall, great hotel to stay at if you're in town for the weekend or consider a room block at if you're having events nearby. read more

We had such a great experience at this Courtyard. We had Debbie Lodge coordinate our Wedding Room Block. From beginning to end it was so easy and she was very responsive and accommodating. With wedding room blocks, sometimes it can get very messy and confusing, but Debbie was able to accommodate all our requests. She was such a pleasure to work with. All the staff at the hotel were very nice. They even can accommodate a shuttle service if that is something you are looking for. The hotel itself is renovated. Our wedding happened to fall during the time they were renovating the exterior of the hotel but we didn't even notice it. Definitely a hotel to consider for a room block if your wedding is in the Pleasanton/Livermore area! Our guests had zero complaints. read more

You can tell this hotel was remodeled and they did a great job with it! The rooms are very clean and comfortable--spacious, updated, and vivid. They had run out of king bed rooms but gave me a double queen which was still spacious and had a balcony; the room had a nice large screen tv, a coffee maker, a safe, a fridge, a closed off toilet and shower, and a great heating/cooling system. Furthermore, the gym was adequate and nice to use with updated equipment which was nice to use on the business trip. Plus, the breakfast cafe was great to use in the mornings and also nice to use to wind down at night. The staff was great and polite too! read more

The lobby was clean and inviting and the price for the rooms were very fair. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Check in and out was smooth and effortless. My wife and I used this hotel post wedding. I was in contact with Debbie in regards to the room blocks for my guest. We had a full year of communication between the two of us. I was able to drop off my goody bags at the hotel a few days earlier for my guest. For the most part everything ran smoothly on our wedding day, except for the hickups in regards to the transportation between the reception and venue. Besides that, overall smooth experience. The hotel and rooms were all renovated and really nice. Would recommend this hotel for weddings or large events. read more
