This hotel suite is a nice size for a couple or girls night, there's a fully stocked kitchen with dishes, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, and 2 queen beds with a sofa couch. The medium sized kitchen table has 4 seats, that was uncomfortable and the chair had a low back. There's a desk with a chair, the lighting in the main room was dim, but the lighting in the bedroom near the beds had decent lighting. The door to the bedroom was squeaky so we kept it open at night. The sofa bed sleeps like what you'd expect not comfy can fell the coils as you slept. The queen bed was good but firm. Lastly, the dishwasher was loud. The Residence Inn has plenty of amenities: fitness room, laundry room, yoga offered at Glo Yoga across from the establishment, pet friendly, and breakfast offered daily. My friends and I had a Galentine's weekend here and it was the perfect staycation. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially having the hearts and flower petals on the bed as a surprise for my friends. I would come back again.

This place is in a prime location and close to everything. We liked pretty much everything, the staff, our room, complimentary hot chocolate with marshmallows and peppermint and the breakfast service. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Booked a suit 2 months in advance for my wedding night. When we arrived to check in they informed my bride and I that they had given our suit away and we would now be staying in a double queen (not what you're looking for on your wedding night). The women working the front desk was extremely rude about it when we showed frustration that they'd given our suit away on our wedding night. She did absolutely nothing to try and fix the situation, and there wasn't a manager to be found the entire weekend. I will question if I ever stay at any type of Marriot owned property ever again. Update to my review, I tried to send the manager an email, triple checked his email address on the card they gave me. The email bounced back every time. They obviously don't want to hear from anyone, and do not care about their customers.

Very new stay. We wonder if it just opened? Most things seemed brand new or near new. Entrance social area was modern, open and welcoming with a glowing fireplace. Staff is friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. Pool is bigger than others in the chain and a good length for laps. We stayed in a handicapped accessible room on the top (3rd) floor. Kitchenette was well equipped with fridge, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. Breakfast included coffee so that was a nice task saver. Included egg white, spicy sausage (yum), cereal, pop tarts, fruit, yogurt, toast and juice. Rotates, I'm sure. Plenty to keep all happy. They mentioned they were going to better settle how breakfasts go - makes us think they are newer and setting up operations. We stayed here on a weekend where there were perhaps kids softball and soccer teams also in town. Aside from a packed pool, we didn't hear the other kids at night. Both hubby and I are lifetime elite.

Residence Inn located in Livermore, California was an incredible stay!! I highly recommend this location. The spacious and clean rooms, swimming pool, and wonderful customer service provided by the wonderful staff is why I rated this stay as 5 stars. I was very satisfied with our room. It was very clean, spacious, and had a great view of the swimming pool. In addition, I like the fact that Residence Inn in general, has everything you need for your stay. The glassware, flatware, and plates/bowls were clean and ready to use. If you've never been to a Residence Inn, I highly recommend you stay at one of there locations. I really enjoy the new locations as this one has newly opened just around a year ago. The swimming pool was large enough to have many people swimming at once while having a great amount of lounge area outside the pool. There was a couple of tables with umbrellas which helped with the hot heat. Moreover, after 4:30 PM, shade came across the swimming pool which was excellent with the hot weather. By 6 PM, the swimming pool was covered with shade and the weather was perfect to continue our swim. Leslie, the person in charged of the breakfast experience, was attentive, kind, and provided excellent breakfast choices. The breakfast lounge had sausage patties, sausage gravy, soft warm biscuits, and scrambled eggs topped with cheese. The coffee did its job until I got to Starbucks. Lastly, the customer service that was provided by the front desk was fantastic. The front desk employee had a "customer service first" attitude and provided us with valuable information needed for our stay. I highly recommend this Marriott location in Livermore, California.

Made me wait 10 minutes+ to check in. When he did come back he helped the person who came in after me. So nearly 15 minutes to check in. Was slightly snarky until he heard I was a business customer. Also and more importantly, he really wasn't wearing a mask

First floor definitely rates higher than 1 star!!??!!

This is our second stay here and BOY is it nice, both times. They ALLOW DOGS!!! Awesome!! 4 stars for dog friendly, love our full suite this time, last time was a king room that was a little smaller but actually better equipped. Either way, our only complaint is food service at breakfast, looks, tastes smells just like prison food so im guessing they use sysco. Which is the worst food supplier in the industry. So don't eat the breakfast if you expect a Marriott experience. More like san Quentin here. But that's ok because as a foodie, id rather go to some new untried places or old favorites. Even the dog won't eat the food here. But 5 stars because a) location b) amenities c) price d) super awesome staff everywhere in the hotel, especially front desk and housekeeping 1st floor. E) staff again f) feels very safe and secure. And bonuses for changes that benefit the younger generations like super efficient lighting and control options, internet and streaming. BAD NEWS TO FANS OF REELZ: NO ON PATROL LIVE HERE, THEY DITCHED REELZ OFF THEIR TV SERVICE, so whatever, i can stream but inconvenient when you are older. Lol. Last, i stick with Marriott out of comfort, loyalty and convenience. And the beds. So comfy. Love Marriott beds... Great place to stay in good old livergulch

We got the big room that has two bedrooms with living rooms, kitchen, fridge, stove and oven. Our room cost $360 a night and it didn't disappoint at all. Everything looks so new and cleaned. We stayed at the pool and enjoyed every min of it. When it was wind down time, we went to the fireplace outside and it was such a nice night. My son love this place and already asking to come back to this place again. There are free complimentary breakfast and WiFi. Breakfast has a lot of options.

I'm not saying all, but there's only one receptionist named Trena whom I felt was more empathetic in my situation and was the only one who made us feel welcome and seemed happy to help. When I first arrived, I was struggling to unload everything out of the car since I had my baby in a stroller and they were able to assist me. All other members made it feel like we were bothering them when we are asking for help. We are a military family and we stayed here for a long-term maybe for over two weeks while waiting for our apartment to be available. We have a newborn and cats. They have so much red tape tapes and house rules when it comes to housekeeping. They keep on saying that it's California law that guests must stay out during housekeeping, however when I looked it up I cannot find any law saying that guests must stay out when they're doing housekeeping. One of their house rules is that we cannot stay at all inside the room while their housekeeping second is that we have to keep the cats in the kennel when they are housekeeping. Having to put the cats in the kennel and moving outside the lobby with a newborn every other day is not an easy job. I tried to compromise and put the cats inside the bathroom while they clean the main area, but they still won't allow or accept that compromise. They're just not understanding at all with certain people's situation. When it comes to following rules, they're pretty black and white and unwilling to help customers out.

We had a wonderful 10 day stay at Hawthorn Suites in Livermore…read more The location was great- close to the freeway, but no traffic noise to keep you up. Easy walking distance to Chevron gas station for water and food items, and Jack in the Box. The breakfast was good- eggs, potatoes, waffle maker, bread/bagels, muffins. The room was spacious with 2 comfy queen beds. I really enjoyed having a kitchenette in the room with plates, utensils, pots, a pan, etc. We went to Safeway to purchase items to cook on the stove or in the microwave, and they were easy to use. The ladies at the front desk were nice at check in and were helpful with getting what I needed for laundry. The laundry room was easy to use as well- $2.75 for the washer, $2.75 for the dryer, and 1.65 to purchase laundry detergent from the front desk. I loved this convenience as well to not pack as much. Overall, a great place to stay in Livermore!

This stay was a mixed bag, leaning more toward disappointing than satisfying…read more The positives first: the location is convenient, with several restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance. Parking was easy and accessible. Once we were settled, our room was clean and spacious, located on the third floor away from the elevator, which kept things quiet. Check-in was quick and straightforward, and the front desk hostess was genuinely kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, the issues started right away. The first room we were given had a strong curry smell, and we had to request a different room. While they did move us without much hassle, that's something that should have been caught beforehand. The bathroom in the new room felt old and worn, with dated fixtures that need updating. The shower was the biggest letdown--water pressure was extremely weak, the pipes rattled loudly, and the shower head made an odd high-pitched "singing" noise the entire time. Breakfast downstairs wasn't worth it, and the coffee was just as disappointing. We ended up heading out to a local breakfast spot instead. Overall, the hotel benefits from its location and room size, but it clearly needs upgrades and better attention to maintenance. It's fine if you only need a basic place to sleep, but there are better options out there for the price.
