    Handmade tortillas

Had a great experience at Double Up Quesabirrias! I ordered the huevos a la mexicana and the veggie omelette. The portions were huge and the prices were really good. The tortillas were definitely the star of the show. They were handmade, fresh, and delicious. The coffee was good too. Great portions, fresh food, and a good value. Definitely worth checking out!

First timer here. As soon as I walked in I noticed it felt quite hot inside. They had one large fan on but that was about it. Not sure if the AC was broken or what the situation was. In terms of the service, it was quick and servers were friendly. I really enjoyed the salsa and chips they brought me as soon as I sat down. It came with a few red and green salsa options. As someone who loves spicy, I really liked their red salsa in the black bowl but not the one in the white bowl. In terms of the food, I really enjoyed the enchiladas. It was my first time having enchiladas Michoacanas so having the chicken outside the enchiladas was a little unexpected for me. I did think it was a bit pricier than other restaurants of similar quality though. Another thing I noticed was they had various unisex restrooms that were very clean which I appreciated!

Drove 45 minutes from home. Had to come try the newly opened Doubleup Quesabirria and it did not disappoint. The food came out fast and the service was super friendly from the moment we walked in. Adan and Didihen were the best. We tried the famous quesabirria, arrachera tacos, al pastor tacos, carnitas tacos, pollo tacos, and birria tacos. Also the costillas en salsa roja and camarones a la diabla -- everything tasted fresh and authentic. The meats were flavorful and cooked perfectly. The michelada was really good and the horchata was the perfect drink to go with the meal. Definitely one of the better spots for authentic Mexican food in the Woodland area. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're craving good Mexican food!

We tried Double Up Quesabirrias in Woodland, and everything was really good. The portions were huge, the food came out fresh, and there was definitely no shortage of flavor. I had the street tacos, but apparently I was too busy eating them to remember to take a picture, which probably tells you everything you need to know. The papas potato tacos were amazing. They were loaded with shredded cabbage, tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, salsa, grilled chiles, and plenty of cheese. The quesabirrias were crispy, cheesy, and came with a rich dipping broth. Great food, friendly service, and fair prices for the amount of food you get. We will definitely be back.

My family and I checked out Doubleup Quesabirrias during their grand opening today! My daughter goes to school with the owner's son and we wanted to drive out to Woodland to support their restaurant! The interior was a nice size with plenty of seating and they also had a large shaded patio area with a DJ playing for their grand opening! My daughter and I shared the Birria Ramen and my husband ordered a Doubleup Quesabirria. We loved both items! The Birria was tender and flavorful and the Quesabirria was massive and packed with cheese! Their Agua Frescas were great too - we ordered the Strawberry Lemonade and even bought one for the drive home. The owner Francisco even let us try the Cucumber Pineapple flavor which was my favorite! They also offer shrimp platters, Menudo, Pozole, Tortas, Molcajete - you name it - plus breakfast items! Overall, we loved our meal - we left satisfied and very full! I wish them success and hope to be back soon! Check them out!

First time here and I ordered to go. My co-worker ordered the Double Quesabirria and I got the Torta with Carnitas. The place was clean and they had a nice outdoor area to eat on nice days. My torta was ok. I did like that it was lightly toasted and the avocado was fresh, but the carnitas ok not wow! My co-worker's order didn't come with the Birria dipping sauce and I didn't think I had to make sure to ask for it, so that was disappointing. I also got a hand full of tortilla chips with my torta, literally a handful, see picture. Maybe if I ate there I would have received more. The salsa was good though, not too spicy. Last thing, the menu someone posted had slightly different prices than what I was charged. 10.99 for the Quesabirria, 11.99 for the torta. What I was actually charged was 11.49 & 12.49. I would have thought that since they recently opened that the menu someone posted was accurate which was another disappointment. But I will have to try it again to give them another chance. Overall my experience was a 3 out of 5 to be completely honest.

Food is great, service is friendly, and the place is very inviting. Good vibes all around. Prices are great for the amount of food you get.

Enchiladas michoacanas, chicken and carne asada tacos, complimentary chips & salsa. All the salsas were delicious

Love this new restaurant in Woodland! I ordered enchiladas michoacanas and my husband got beef and chicken tacos. Everything was delicious. We were greeted as we came in. They made us feel welcomed. We met the cook, Mary, and her son. They were super friendly. We even got a couple of quesabirrias on the house. Will definitely go back! Can't wait to try the other items on their menu.

    Smoked arrachera torta

The service was great. The employees interacted with us the whole time. We had the smoked arrachera torta. It was the best torta I have ever had.

This spot takes classic hot dogs and burgers and levels them up with bold Mexican flavors, and it 100% works. My personal favorites are the birria and vampiros. The birria is rich, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the vampiros come crispy, cheesy, and loaded--easily some of the best bites on the menu. The vibe is casual and welcoming with a chill outdoor setup, and the staff keeps things friendly and fast. Pro tip: skip the line by ordering ahead online. They're usually pretty quick with the orders. Bottom line: Doggeros is a low-key gem serving creative, crave-worthy comfort food you'll keep coming back for.

I asked for "lots of extra ketchup" after ordering a clásica burger with no mayo (comes with…read morewell-seasoned fries), a Diet Coke, and leaving a 20% tip up front, without knowing what to expect. I literally spend 4 digits on burgers every year, always ask for "lots of extra ketchup", and am never shorted, until today. The burger meat tasted below average and frozen. My family has been in the cattle ranching business since 1976, about 20 minutes from woodland. My siblings and I are third generation owners. Every time I asked the guy for more ketchup, he gave me two additional tiny packets, and I finally stopped asking bc he looked annoyed after I only had about 50% of my preferred amount of ketchup for a large burger and tons of thick fries. Moreover, they didn't even walk the order to me and ***gave me a bunch of sauce I didn't want or ask for*** WTF. Ordered the clásica burger with no mayo and they decided to drench it in guacamole which is not on the ingredients on the menu and I didn't want it. I didn't ask for a remake bc the guy had already dismissed my ketchup request. I ran out of Diet Coke (full to the top with ice) and didn't want to ask for more bc I didn't want to deal with the guy again. I spent a minute trying to wipe off the sloppy guac spread and I'm eating a very large salty meal while thirsty because I ran out of fountain Diet Coke halfway through and didn't want to talk to the guy again, to ask him for more. At any other burger place (and I'm literally a yelp elite member), they either 1) give plenty of ketchup the first time I ask, 2) they ask "is that enough ketchup?", or they 3) provide self service ketchup. Any of these options are perfectly acceptable. Virtually all restaurants do this because they understand that obsession over customer service optimizes for customer lifetime value, creates happy customers, and only costs them 12 cents. They've perhaps lost hundreds of future dollars from me because I spend an enormous amount eating out and am literally working one block away. I don't know if he owns it or just works there. This was on 7/26 at ~4PM. He would not be f****** bothered. I tipped him 20% too, up front, showing him that I expected at least reasonable service. And remember, they don't even walk the order to you. You walk up to the kitchen and order. You find your own seat, clean up after yourself, and place the tray in a designated area after you're done. I'm okay with all that, but not for a 20% up front tip with rude service. Won't be coming back even though it's profoundly convenient bc it's near a bunch of fantastic businesses I regularly frequent and enjoy. I hated my experience here. Could've had a great customer. Again, I work a block away. The fries were good though, for frozen fries. Well seasoned.

Some of their neighboring businesses have been boarded up, but I'm glad they are still around on that corner. The chico tacos are your typical street soft tacos which are $1.99 each on Taco Tuesday, but I love their crispy tacos which are $2.99 each on Taco Tuesday. This most recent visit I got one asada, one chile verde pork, and one adobada crispy taco, and an horchata. Chips and salsa bar complimentary, and a discount if you pay cash instead of card. I will say that the adobada and chile verde are delicious, but probably not the wisest protein for tacos since they're wet. The crispy tacos were cheesy goodness, and the asada reminded me of a quesadilla but better. I love me horchata, but perhaps next time I'll try the cucumber lime or Jamaica hibiscus drink to switch it up.
