This has been a great spot to get breakfast with the dogs! They have a lovely side area to sit with fans. I had a mushroom patty with Brie, strawberry jam, and tomato on a croissant that was delicious and pretty filling! Everyone there is so kind too.

Le Ponce has their Galette des Rois (golden, flaky puff pastry) available for the Mardi Gras season. There's a choice between chocolate filled and almond filled. You can also get it by the slice or a whole cake. I got a slice of the almond warmed up and it was really delicious! Light and flaky! Almost delicate. It's not overly sweet, which was perfect. I took it to go and devoured it in the car. Crumbs everywhere, and each crumb was worth it!

Le Ponce is a great spot for breakfast or lunch! The build-your-own sandwich is a great idea, and I LOVED the herb goat cheese. They have a small indoor space with a few tables and also a courtyard that you have to enter through the restaurant. I will say that you pay extra for dairy-free milk, but then they have free daily-free milk you can add to your coffee at a separate table...? So, I'd opt out of milk in your coffee to save the up charge

Once again the Bayou St John neighborhood has a lovely coffee shop that serves breakfast sandwiches and more! Le Ponce offers beautiful croissants, breakfast sandwiches, choquettes (slightly sweet French pastries that are delectable! The 'sweet' cousin of the gougère) Bright and clean, the smell welcomes you in the front door. I was greeted by the owner who was lovely, and ordered a fabulous breakfast sandwich with compte cheese, bacon and scrambled eggs on one of their picture perfect croissants. I sipped on a large cold brew iced coffee while my order was prepared. The inside space is light and bright and clean. Le Ponce offers its guests WiFi and plenty of power outlets throughout the indoor space. A small lovely outdoor area is also available with seating in the front side and back. Definitely a wonderful addition to the neighborhood

I just love their new summer menu. The English breakfast plate is perfect. And the chouquettes are the hit for a quick sweet bite.

Not good. Overpriced. Got a croissant breakfast sandwich. Ham and cheese with creole mustard. Not much ham .... Croissant slightly burnt. $10.75 with tax.

Ample indoor seating, spacious and quiet additional work room, plenty outlets and outdoor seating - perfect for those who want simple conversation, or people needing time to focus on their virtual meetings, or those who want to sit and enjoy the outside escape. The Baristas are top notch. They make consistently tasty drinks (that aren't obnoxiously sweet) and find ways to connect (if you want to engage). They are diverse and they attract a really diverse customer base. You can frequently find them celebrating one of their regular's birthdays or have folk stop by to let them know they're moving out of town, to which tears and hugs commence. There's truly something for everyone. I've witnessed prayer meetings and AA meetings and Art Shows displaying art work from Local Middle School kids. There are decorations for every holiday and music for all generations. Simply love this place! My only critique is about customers who come with unreasonable expectations or expecting a Starbucks experience. ORC is a neighborhood shop. Be kind to the baristas, be patient when it's busy and enjoy the great coffee!! I consider myself a regular and I'm fiercely protective of everyone there! Love this place!

There are some cute tables and chairs outside as well as about 10-15 seats at counters inside. I was greeted when I walked in and got in line at the counter. The pastries looked so fresh and delicious it was hard to choose just one. I went with a Pan O Chocolat, a chocolate filled croissant and iced latte. The prices are typical for a coffee and pastry. The croissant was so flaky and mouth watering. I ate very slowly enjoying each bite. The iced latte was good as well. I sat right by the espresso machine and enjoyed watching the baristas making coffees. I saw one come out with a perfect heart on top. They also have full bread loaves for sale as well as items for breakfast and lunch. I will definitely be back to try another pastry.

I wasn't a fan of the cinnamon roll due to the crunchiness of the raw cane sugar on top. Ayu is a counter service restaurant with a full service coffee setup. The line moves fairly quickly, so don't be deterred if the line is out the door. Seating is very limited, so we took our items to go. Definitely worth the visit!
