We informed Iris that one of the roommates required a medical alert dog (as we weren't originally informed). She got a bit rude with us and said there was NO WAY the owner was going to allow that. We asked her to ask since the Fair Housing in NY protects people with disabilities. She was very rude and said "if it comes down to you guys and someone else without a dog ... we are going to pick the other people!" She said this on a call with three other people listening into. Needless to say ... we never heard from her again. Please don't use this agent... if she would do THIS, what else would she possibly do??

They are unresponsive, unprofessional, and lack accountability. We haven't had a proper board meeting since 2023, and before that, 2019. Requests for meetings, communication, and financial statements are ignored or delayed. Most concerning is their interference in board elections. After we were forced to petition for a board meeting, management began knocking on doors, making calls, bad-mouthing candidates, and pressuring shareholders to sign proxies for a silent board that does not challenge or hold them accountable. Under Chris Chiappa (President) and Glenn Capobianco (Vice President), this management has shown they are not fit for this level of management. Prospective co-op buildings and shareholders should be aware.

The new property manager is cordial but does not respond to your complaints consistently. The reason is because there are so many complaints. Lived in building for 37 years and Amber and this new management company they merged with is incompetent as well. No one wants to do their job. I have complained about drugs being sold in building many times. The tenant is still there. She and others in her apartment make a mess in the hall outside her door, which is also is outside my door. Food crumbs constantly on carpet. Tenants should be investigated before they are able to lease. The laundry room is disgusting. The machines are constantly out of order and not clean or sanitize. This company we lease these machines from, should be terminated. Never had the uncleanness in the laundry room or issues with the machines until this company took over. The worst!
