I tried them both but the haircut was maybe slightly better than average. For those like me that don't know - a "line up " cut refers to the line in the back of your neck. A fade is not an option, which I never heard of. I also wasn't crazy about having my chair turned towards the TV literally the entire cut. The only time I saw a mirror was when they were done.

I hadn't been in before so I called. Surprisingly, I got a slot at the last spot of the day and went in. Their COVID sanitation and concern was excellent. Robbie was tied up so I had Rachael cut my hair. Here's my review: Robbie and Rachael were both very courteous and professional throughout my visit. She was very concerned that I got the cut I wanted and asked several times throughout what I thought and what I liked as she moved from section to section. The shop was clean and sanitary. Their personalities were very welcoming. I'm very happy with my haircut and I'll be back. I'm not fancy and just like a mans haircut, but they clearly have skills to do more than that. Good price for a haircut, efficient time, super pleasant, and genuinely interested in my feedback and how I heard about them. They didn't have a Yelp listing so I submitted this one! We gave this place a try and it was fantastic! To our surprise, the barbers were women and they were excellent. My hubby said she cut his hair just as good as George and paid more attention to detail. She took the time to discuss his hair cut and specifics. He also loved the straight blade neck shave, hot towel, and she even talked him into waxing his eyebrows! (I think that was more for my pleasure than for his .. ha ha). They made us feel comfortable and we had a few great laughs with them as well. This place also offers male pedicures, which we are excited for him to try. Great job, ladies! The price is beside the point; he comes from the era where cutting hair was one of many skilled crafts, not something you learn to do at night school. He has one of the most loyal customer bases I've ever seen, and after getting a haircut there, you'll see why. He is extremely responsive to whatever you ask for, and is adept at making your hair look full without feeling heavy. If your hairline is a little funny, he'll notice, and he'll make it look good, instead of just cutting it normally. Everywhere else I've ever been has felt like a standard cut. Like says, "Nothing but the best, from the best, for the best." Oh and I've had him shave me/trim my beard when I went through that phase, and it was like going to a spa. Warm shaving cream, a switchblade razor, a towel on his shoulder, the whole deal. I've lived in New Jersey, Arkansas and now Brooklyn, and I always wait until I come back home to get a haircut -- sometimes I come home just to get the haircut.

After I explained that I wanted a high and tight because I'm in the military, she consulted someone and then returned to tell me it would be $42. I was absolutely shocked. I understand it's a small-town barbershop, but $42 for a high and tight feels like a total rip-off.
